We did a gut reno on our 3 bedroom home with Foremost. From estimate to design to completion, working with the Foremost team was straightforward, detail-oriented, quality-focused and transparent. I was nervous about being remote from the project, but I couldn’t be happier with the result. My project lead provided daily photos and notes to keep me informed of progress and didn’t hesitate to ask me questions during the build phase to make sure everything would meet my expectations. You will be in good hands with Foremost.

Working with Foremost was wonderful. My older home had some unique challenges and I was happy to have such an experienced crew. Everything from the design process through final walk through was easy. I had daily updates with photos from the project lead. The final product is better than I imagined and I love coming home every day. I would definitely recommend Foremost and will work with them again when needed.

They were professional, reliable, collaborative and effective communicators. Our project was completed on time and on budget. We were very satisfied with the outcome.

We’ve had Foremost Builders work with us on our house twice, for both large and small renovations, and we feel very lucky to have found them because they are outstanding to work with. Their work is top-notch, probably because the people that make up Foremost care about the quality of their work.
They have pleasantly surprised us both in the design phase and the construction phase, coming up with new ideas to add functionality or fix those inevitable challenges that arise during renovations.

Working with Foremost on my kitchen renovation was an exceptional experience in every regard. From the the design/build process to the finished product, Foremost seems to fully embrace a simple (but underappreciated) operating principle: under-promise and over-deliver. The team set clear expectations of budget, timeline and finished product from the first meeting and consistently exceeded expectations throughout. Key differentiators that made the experience exceptional:

1. A design/build process that was seamless, thoughtful and efficient. The handoff of the project plan from the design team to the build team was well-orchestrated and executed. Everyone was focused on the same objectives and outcomes.

2. No down time. From the start of demolition to the final punch list, a member of the team was working onsite daily (and sometimes even weekends) to stay on time, on schedule, on budget. The project lead showed impressive time-management skills, completing his necessary elements of the renovation while coordinating the electrical, plumbing, etc. subcontractors in such a way that eliminated any down time.

3. Exceptional communication. As I was in another state during much of the renovation, I greatly appreciated the daily progress updates and pictures, documenting work that had been completed each day. The builder software app made it easy to efficiently communicate with the project lead and team regarding questions, changes, etc.

4. Attention to detail. Foremost has assembled what seems to be a really top-notch team of craftsmen. I was blown away by their attention to detail and the caliber of workmanship that went into making my kitchen awesome. It really seemed like the lead on my project pursued the entire renovation with the mindset that it was his own kitchen / living room that was being remodeled.

Bottom Line: An exceptional experience all around.

There are not enough wonderful things we can say about Foremost Builders. Two years ago they renovated our kitchen for us. The owner, Dave Clarenbach, was extremely sensitive to our budget and our preferences. The end product was beautiful, we still love it so much. The work was done on time, Dave was in constant contact with us, and follow up was welcome by them. This is the largest job they have done for us, but there will be more. Dave runs his business with his clients best interests in mind. He listens, he suggests, and he follows through. I wish all contractors and other businesses were this client-sensitive.

I've enjoyed a long, productive association with Foremost Builders, its principal Dave Clarenbach and many of the staff. The company has done many projects for me including a new roof, replacement of our main deck, installation of a large number of replacement windows plus some special projects including problem drainage around the foundation. Based on that lengthy experience I will say without qualification that the company has been excellent to deal with which in my terms means, establishing clear project parameters; on time performance; timely and appropriate discussions of unexpected issues; and, fair pricing. I''ll use Foremost again as soon as the need arises. My paramount requirement is being trustworthy and demonstrating the highest level of individual and corporate integrity. The company has delivered on all scores.

Dave and his crew were a pleasure to work with on our new mud room, even taking the time to handle a couple of minor projects completely unrelated to the renovation. The finished project exceeded our expectations. They created a space that is far more than just a place to remove boots and coats. It is a pleasure to look at as well as use. We will not hesitate in having him work with us on the next project.

We had a roof leak that was staining our bedroom ceiling, Foremost found the problem and repaired it. The work was excellent, they responded very quickly,and the price was reasonable and within the estimate.

I wouldn't hesitate to use them again and highly recommend them.
