Can’t say enough good things about Greg’s auto. I came here after a bad experience at the ford dealership. Greg’s was fast, efficient, pleasant and half the cost ford would have charged me. And as a woman I give them extra points for believing me when I told them what was wrong with my car and having the parts on hand for my appointment.

I went to Greg’s auto shop since my car was making some strange noises and vibrating at higher speeds. Greg took it for a spin and identified the issue right away (loose tire lugs due to subpar work from a previous car mechanic) and amazingly refused to charge me for it. I was super stressed since I was out of town visiting Rutland from 2 hours away. I could not speak more highly of Greg’s work and professionalism. Highly highly recommended!!!

I went in for muffler service during a busy time of year. They were able to fit me in on no notice and then fixed the car for much less than I expected. I was very impressed with them.

They are always honest and they do great work on my vehicals.

We were traveling and noticed a part hanging under the car. Stopped in here and someone looked at, then took the car in, raised it up and fixed the problem, all in about 10 minutes. Very friendly and helpful. We absolutely recommend this shop.

Greg’s Auto is undoubtedly the best of the bunch. Only one other shop I’ve visited is even in Greg’s Auto’s league.

They’re honest, affordable, and more than willing to explain any technical issues to a layman without any condescension or irritation. They’ll never overcharge you or do any unnecessary work. The guy in charge seems super savvy and skilled compared to his peers in the industry. Half the time I bring a car in for work, they return it to me free of charge after doing some minor repairs or diagnostics.

10/10 would recommend this place. If I moved 200 miles away, I’d still try to use Greg’s Auto.

After trying to be swindled by another auto shop for $600 in repairs I brought the vehicle to Jeff at Greg’s Auto for a second opinion, and thank God I did because I didn’t need any of the work the other place said I did! I have stuck with Greg’s Auto ever since( about 10-12 years).Jeff ( the owner )is an honest straight forward person who isn’t about adding in a bunch of unnecessary repairs just to get your money!
There is a reason why the place is always so busy!! Honestly, I wouldn’t trust anyone else.

Great service! Taillight out and we stopped in they fixed it right away! Very reasonable I think they only charged us for the bulb!

Always a good experience, this year alone I've had a timing belt, two wheel bearings, some tie rods replaced. They seem to be priced the best, up front, and always a pleasure to do business with! I have also recommended co workers new to the area and they too had a good experience.

I moved to Rutland Yesterday. Today my car's oil light flickered on, and I pulled over and popped the hood to find oil exploded all over everything and leaking out of everywhere. I called Greg's at the suggestion of a tow truck driver, and Jeff DROVE TO WHERE I WAS STRANDED TO TAKE A LOOK AT MY CAR.
After I had it towed in we realized it was not as bad as we thought and he was able to fix it for me, the same day, for a way more reasonable price than I was expecting.
Jeff is awesome.

I have been going to Greg's Auto for a few years now. They are honest and their prices are fair. They have always treated me with respect. Sometimes you may have to wait a week to get your vehicle repaired but it is worth the weight.

When I was a kid, Greg used to fill up my bike tires and tighten it up or replace parts after did some dumb stuff. As an adult, this was the only place I would bring my car for any work. This is easily the best auto shop I’ve come across & not just in Rutland!

Since moving to Rutland in 2011, Greg's Auto is the only place my husband and I have taken out vehicles for repairs. They are honest, hard working and usually do the job for less than they quote. Great group of guys who are dedicated to amazing service.
