Iron Hill Park

It's a wonderful place to take kids and dogs. Trails, woods, disc golf, cute playground equipment, and a small iron hill museum too.

We love this park. It's close to home and the trails are very family friendly. Just watch out for the disk golfers! We never find it crowded here. The playground is nice and shaded, if you have kids who want to play, and there is a small dog park for your furry friends.

Came for the playground, but next time we will try out some trails! The playground was very nice and shady and there was lots of close parking. Clean area with lots of things to do!

Love coming here. Love the trails, get one with nature. Calm your mind and meditate. Nice playground and dog park. Also can play disc golf.

One of the best (and under-rated) parks in the area. Here's why:
Stellar disc golf course, good trails for mountain biking and hiking, large playground with ample shade and picnic tables, never crowded. Have had several pizza dinners here while letting the kids play.

Family fun day. Best food Indian tacos. Love all the dances and dancers. Teaching the kiddos about others and there cultures.

One of if not the very best of Delaware for disc golf. Challenging elevation changes, rocky terrain, water and trees! Sure to challenge all levels of skill. The park surrounding the course Is great for hiking. Dog friendly. Clean restroom. Playground for kids

We love this park for hiking. Easy trails and pretty quiet. Just watch out for disk golfers! Further into the park there is some noise from the highway, but overall we love Iron Hill for family friendly hikes. I also love the shaded playground. It's so great to go in the summer and not have the sun beating down while the kids play!

Every time I go here, my boyfriend takes me into the disk golf course, but that is ok. We still have fun walking the trails. DON’T GO DOWN THE DEER PATH OR ELSE YOU WILL GET LOST FOR TWO HOURS TRYING TO FIND WHERE YOU PARKED!!

Great park. Has a shaded dog park so during the summer it's even better. Great jungle gym for big and little kids. Disc gold, bike oaths, hiking. Pavilion for parties you name it. This park has it all. Can be a bit muddy, but... Your in a forest, so it's OK.

Visited the Iron Hill Science Center with my child's school field trip and thought that it was great.

There are a lot of great taxidermied animals inside the Science Center and the staff were knowledgeable.

Looking forward to visiting during their next Archaeology Weekend.

We drove almost 2 hours to get to Iron Hill Park and it was worth it!

Lots of nice trails for hiking and/or mountain biking. Also a demanding disc golf course, a bark park, and great play ground for the little ones. Plenty of picnic tables and a pavilion too.

One of the best playgrounds I’ve taken my son to. He had so much fun it’s so private and shady and lots to play on.

Easy to find, the Event was great! My son and I drove 1hr 1/2 to be there and was not disappointed. Looking forward for next event

Great local park for walks along wooded trails

Lots of trails for walking. Lots of greenery and wildlife. Cool Science Center. Must see.

So many fun things to do here! If you're into geocaching this place has some fun ones!
