Seriously the best Mexican food I have ever had!! Every single thing we ate was delicious. The lady waiting on us so was sweet and did a great job. Their prices are cheap and portions are enough for 2 people.

The food is very fresh and delicious! The staff is great and service isn’t too long. In the pictures, we got the Bistec Rachero (beef with jalapeños, rice/beans), the Cubano torta (Cuban sandwich), fried chimichangas with fries, jalapeño poppers, carne asada fries, and queso. Everything was very good so I recommend everything. Their salsa is also very unique and tasty - it’s got a spicy Chipotle taste to it. When you get to the restaurant, it looks like there’s nowhere to sit but there is a lot of seating in the back. They have tables for 8.

Jalapeño Grill has been a favorite of mine for YEARS! Great food, generous margs, friendly and attentive staff. If I'm getting tacos in Wilmignton, 8/10 times it's from here.

Hands down the best Mexican food I have ever had. We shared the molcajete for two....it could have fed a family of six I'm sure. So much flavor and lots of meat! If Leonardo davinci was a chef, this would have been his Mona Lisa. The only downside was the $7 guacamole. It was fairly watery and had little flavor, I just wouldn't get it next time. The salsa that comes with the chips is smokey and delicious and a fantastic addition to the molcajete. We will definitely be back!

Not to mention, the best salsa I have ever had. Do ask them for the smoked salsa Verde, it's hot and you won't be disappointed.

Absolutely delicious food. The place was clean and the staff was very friendly. I am from the West Coast, so my taste for Mexican food is a bit biased. Nonetheless, so far, the best I've had here in Wilmington.

Had the chili relanos and they were amazing. Our waitress was so friendly. Will definitely be back!

The food is great the host is amazing I think her name was Fiorella the last couple times I've gone I haven't seen her around you guys need more employees like her she's polite and every welcoming 5 stars to her hope to see you guys soon

I love this spot. Their steak tacos are dangerously good plus they have taco Tuesday which is bogo. Their margs are also super good.

Authentic Mexican restaurant 😋

Don't sleep on this place! It doesn't look like much from the outside and I'm always skeptical when restaurants don't have websites. The food and the service were AMAZING.

Update: I had them cater for a large party and everyone loved them! They were a hit

Food has stayed consistently good for years. Great drinks, amazing tacos and so much more to explore on the menu.

I have loved this place since I arrived in town 18 years ago. I have been returning thru all the previous owners.
Today's visit was a disappointment and I may not be able to recommend them again.
I understand that pricing can and should change however, while visiting today during the posted "Happy Hour" time 3pm to 6 pm, there were no discounts on food or beverage other than the posted Wednesday special of $3.99 house margaritas. Furthermore, when the bill arrived two of the 3 food items I ordered were more than the posted price on the menu. When I questioned the waitress (using the word loosely) she only was able to point to the cover page of the menu stating "Pricing subject to change"

Lastly service is always sub par. Customers are lucky to get a napkin, silverware or to be checked onat any time during a visit.
