Every time I come to City hall to do business I am met with a smiling face. In the past I early voted there, and the process was smooth as can be. Local government efficiency in action.

Saw the Mayor at an event recently @ City Market as impressed with his commitment to the local economy and focus on local food.

Burlington has an excellent and very capable team in the Mayor’s Office.

Why is the meeting with us business owners only through Zoom? Absolutely ridiculous!

If you expect a reasonable cost of living for a city of 42,000+ in a State with only 640K in population, FORGET IT. BE PREPARED FOR EXPENSIVE HOUSING, SUB-STANDARD LIVING CONDITIONS FOR THE LEAST AMOUNT OF SPACE - IF YOU CAN FIND IT! Trust me - there is NO AFFORDABLE HOUSING in this pathetic “city”. And be prepared for out of sight utility bills!

The Mayor and City Council will gladly take your taxes and apply your residency for State and Federal reimbursement, but don’t expect to get anything but overpriced, (UNLESS you qualify for public assistance).

This mayor knows about all sorts of corruption going on his state. Instead of doing anything about it, he likes to go on TV and lecture people about other things
