We are delighted with the residential solar system designed and installed by the Solar Division of Peck Electric. We received friendly, prompt, informative answers to our questions throughout the process.  Peck listened to us and tailored their proposals to our needs.  Peck’s approach to problem-solving is “Yes we can.”   Their price was also much better than the competition.  Peck’s installers include an electrician, and are hardworking and knowledgeable.  Their installation was flawless.  We appreciate the panel-level monitoring which allows us to watch system performance. We are generating more power than we imagined, even on cloudy days, despite our less than perfect orientation.  We recommend Peck without reservation.

My wife and I were looking into solar panels in 2015. Our neighbors suggested we look @ Peck Electric and sent a representative to our home for a system feasibility, the product features, system sizing (kwatt). A proposal was sent in ~ 1 week covering all features and cost. The system was installed in October 2015 (1 1/2 days work) a total of 18 each 280watt panels with individual optimizers. I enjoy being able to
monitor individual panels as well as total system output whether at home or away through the cell phone app.
The system is a 5kW size and has been operational through all seasons, (more power in summer months offsets losses in winter due to excess snow). The solar panels are durable with a life expectancy of ~ 25 yrs.
The engineers and technicians have been responsive and pleasant to
work with. We are happy that we made the decision to install solar panels on our roof and going with Peck Solar as the contractor.

As a "recovering engineer", I am an extremely demanding customer. I researched my solar project for the better part of 2018 and am delighted I ended up with Peck. Before deciding on Peck, I looked into Tesla, SunCommon and SunRun and obtained multiple proposals from all four companies. The design team at Peck was so incredibly responsive to my queries (we ended up going through 7 design iterations) I was truly blown away by their skill and patience with me! Even once we had inked the deal, I still had a couple curve balls up my sleeve. Without skipping a beat, the installation team switched gears and completed other, unrelated, electrical projects in our house while installing the solar system. The team would check in with me routinely to discuss technical and esthetic concerns and ultimately we are ecstatic with the results. Even as we are closing in on the shortest, cloudiest days of the year, the system has been producing even more than predicted! From beginning to end, everyone I dealt with at Peck was a real Pro. I would give them 6 stars if that was an option!

Exceptional from the first contact to completion of system installation, and beyond whenever we have a question:
While exploring residential solar options, we learned of Peck Electric from a family member who owns a commercial solar battery storage company. and deals with Peck on the commercial side. Peck is primarily an electrical contracting company which for us was a huge plus as they have been in business here in Vermont for many years and will be available to service our system (if needed) through the inevitable ups and downs of the solar power business.
Within a few days of our initial contact, field staff were at our residence for an on site system evaluation ,and the next day we had a design and quote. Their quote was 30% less than the other solar installers we interviewed.
In November 2017, we signed a contract and our installation commenced on the day after we received our required Certificate of Public Good, required by the State of VT. The rooftop installation was completed by Peck staff (not outside contractors) in one day, with a follow up visit to fine tune the system. All included in the contract price.

Peck helped us locate financing via a VSECU loan and to date our system has exceeded Peck Solar's projections for energy production from our system.
We have received excellent customer service whenever we have had a question, our email or calls have been returned promptly within 24 hours, and always with professional courtesy and technical proficiency.
We are happy customers and can provide an UNQUALIFIED RECOMMENDATION FOR PECK SOLAR FOR RESIDENTIAL PV INSTALLATION AND SERVICE.

Peck Solar has done an excellent job installing solar panels for my business. They are easy to work with and do quality work at an affordable price. I would highly recommend.

Professional team, from the planning process through the installation. Very easy to work with and didn't make me feel like this was a "cookie-cutter" set up, but rather built for my specific needs. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

We had solar panels installed this year and the crews that installed them did a fantastic job. However, communication from the project manager is beyond bad. Calls and emails went unreturned for weeks at a time. We are now trying to have Peck install heat pumps and have emailed and called the project manager for the last two weeks with no response. They really rate no stars but one star is the worst I can give them.

Terrible company and poorly managed. Stay away from them especially if they try to subcontract you. They wont pay after you complete your work they wont respond to emails and they wont answer your calls.

I had an electrical job done by Peck Electric about a year ago and since then have been having an issue with the outlet tripping. I have called their office over 6-7 times to get someone out to my house to resolve the issue and I can't even get a phone call back. I have been trying to reach someone for about a month and every time I call I get an automated system and have to leave a voice message which never gets returned. I am very disappointed with their customer service and would not recommend them.
