Athens Diner

The reviews on this place did not disappoint. Our service was good and the food was delicious. I got the meat skillet and my wife got the vermonter corned beef hash skillet. Mine was excellent and my wife enjoyed hers as well. It's not a super big place and got busy quick but there was no wait to get in when we arrived. Definitely stop to check this place out.

This is my concept of an old school diner. I had the homemade sausage and gravy. The white sauce was thick and creamy. The biscuit was not dry but not flakey. This came with cubed home fries. The home fried well seasoned. I washed this down with a small cranberry juice. My parents had poached eggs on white toast. My dad ordered a side of bacon. The toast appeared grilled.

Make sure you come hungry! The picture is what my plate looked like AFTER I ate until I was stuffed! Absolutely delicious lamb gyro platter. I'll definitely be back!

Generous portions of basic diner type food. My breakfast was prepared to perfection. Staff is efficient, knowledgeable, and friendly. Greek specialties are very good.

If you like the Diner experience, this is a great stop for you. The food was fresh, hot, and perfectly prepared. Their pie was pretty darn good too.

The waitress was fantastic. She was very attentive but not abnoxiously so.

I took my son to Athens for the first time. The staff was super friendly. The food was delicious. The food came out hot and fairly quick. My son told the waitress he rates it a 5 star. She told the owner. He came out asked if he was Kaleb. He introduced himself and thanked him! We will deffinently be coming back!

Old fashion diner where the food is just awesome. I had the lamb gyro pita and wow this was good. Beats some local Montreal Greek places that I like to go. They close kind of early so be prepared in case you want to stop by.

Thursday mid morning and that place was BUSY and there was always a line. Wait wasn’t too long though. Diner is small and a little tight, not many tables. We sat at the counter, which wasn’t bad. Unimpressive and unpretentious from the outside as well as inside but their food is really GOOD and their service is great! Prices are decent. We were told that the best time to go (not busy at all) is when they open at 6am. We highly recommend it and will be going back!

This diner is definitely worth traveling for. The food is amazing, everyone is so friendly, and it's such a neat atmosphere. My kids love it and we've been back many times.

Hands down, the best diner in Burlington. The food is on point! God, I was hyping the Ruben untill I tried the Philly cheese omelet. The Irish Benedict is amazing! Am in love!!
The service is so welcoming. I feel valued as a customer from the reception walking in the door to the servers and to checking out, is all flawless. This is certainly my weekend spot in Burlington.

Hadn’t been to Athena’s in a couple years, but will definitely go back as soon as convenient. Such a great quintessential diner for breakfast. Went on Black Friday and the place was busy by 8am, but they handled the crowd well. We were seated in 5 mins, immediately greeted by our sweet waitress, coffee and juice delivered in a minute, breakfast order taken and food delivered in less than 10 minutes. Daughter ordered the Benedict, wife got an omelette and I ordered the corn beef pan dish. All of us were happy with flavor and quality. If you want a satisfying diner breakfast, Athena will deliver.

My go-to breakfast spot! Ended up here on a fluke one morning and have been coming back ever since. Small diner so there’s usually a wait, but well worth it. Delicious food & fair prices.

I’ve been to Athens countless times and it never disappoints. It’s a Greek run diner that specializes in great skillets and eggs Benedict. They also have classic Greek dishes for lunch like gyros and spanikopita.

The interior looks like a classic diner with plenty of booth seating and at the bar. If you’re in the area then be sure to visit this diner.

Super cute diner! Lots of variety with the menu. Super friendly staff and service was quick. The turkey rachel was delicious and they have amazing home fries.

Been trying to get in here for weeks, well worth the wait. Got a skillet and was not disappointed. Very flavorful and plenty of food. I would also recommend the biscuit, it was wonderful

Delicious!! Had the Irish Benedict and a hot cider. Both were truly scrumptious. I don't think I've ever had cider that good. The plate was full of food and I left full. You could tell the ingredients were freshly prepared.

Give this place all your money!!! The quality of the food and how it's cooked and prepared takes you back at a time when food was made with love and delivered promptly. My girlfriend and I have big appetites. We left with a to go box and only paid a little over $50 for the both of us. Her and I have been in this state for going on 3 months and cannot find a decent restaurant anywhere here. Athens Dinner will be getting our money again. Hands down! Every time we return to this state, we will always make it a point to visit this diner and taste it's amazing quality food and beautiful service.

Always delicious! Wait staff is friendly and helpful and call us by name! (Yeah, we kinda go every week)! I always get the Little Athenian because it’s a little bit of everything! If you like corned beef hash…theirs is amazing!
