Connie's Chicken and Waffles

This place is amazing. The smell is what broght me in and it will catch you too. I have never had chicken and waffles before and so I took a chance and order one. WOW!!! I have been missing out and now I am a believer. The waffles were cooked perfectly and were perfectly fluffy with just the right amount of crust. The Chicken was crispy on the outside and and super tender on the inside. The powder sugar took me by surprise with everything and I didn't think that I would ever love the combination of syrup on top of fried chicken and waffles. I will be coming back!

Connie's was AMAZING! Steven and Darryl took care of us. That chicken was juicy and to die for and the waffle was light and fluffy. We'll definitely be back!

I have been stuck on the Oreo flavor with the extra Oreo crumble on top! The flavor of the chicken tenders is top notch, with a nice crisp. And the waffles i honestly don’t know where to begin! The size is perfect just big enough to make you feel full. I am looking forward to trying the captain crunch berries one next. I have been to this location 3x’s so far and the service is always great. The wait can be a bit long if you go during busy hours ie lunch. They also have some amazing ice teas however they can be a bit too sweet if that’s not your thing. They also do tell you it’s sweet. All you need is a bit of water and it’s perfect! They also have other offerings like wings which i may try. Added a pic of their tea to give you an idea! Sorry no waffle pics

Red velvet waffle amd 2 chicken strips was AMAZING!!!! The waffle is super fluffy and light and the syrup was thick and not overly sweet. The waffle soaks up the syrup very well. My boyfriend got the regular waffle and itnwas equally as good. The chicken strips are big, so 2 is plenty. They are not overly breaded and seasoned to perfection. The hot sauce amd BBQ sauces were a hit too!! Definitely a MUST TRY and repeat restaurant for us!!

Connie’s has a great selection of flavorful deep fried goodness. I enjoyed the garlic, parm wings (at first as a shared snack and then ordered more for a meal) and my hubby enjoyed the shrimp basket, while our colleagues enjoyed the chicken, fish and waffles. Eventhough we came in about 30 min before closing the young man behind the counter was friendly and happy to make us a tasty, late night dinner. Highly recommend stopping by this stall when you visit De.co Hall.

The staff are super nice, and the food is always a hit. The food court has a great environment as well! I really enjoy my experience with Connie's every single time, and I can't recommend them less

WE STOPPED BY AND TRIED THE BLUEBERRY WAFFLE WITH FRIED FISH. IT WAS D- LISH!!! THE SPARKD COFFEE ALONG WITH IT, MADE FOR A PERFECT BREAKFAST.

Went for a brunch date with my husband. Employees very friendly and inviting when taking our orders. The lemonade was delicious. Food tasted amazing.

Was in Wilmington to help move my cousin out of school and looked up food options near me and saw Connie’s. Rarely have good chicken and waffles so was hooked and decided to check it out. As we showed up the staff was very friendly and gave us a whole rundown of the menu, as well as the food was delicious. Would recommend this place to anyone in the local area looking for some good chicken and waffles, or even just chicken or just waffles.

I am so grateful to have Connie’s Chicken and Waffles in downtown Wilmington. It’s a perfect brunch option. I got to enjoy Crunchberry waffles with friends this morning and highly recommend!
