I love checking out bookstores and this is one I recommend.
I liked it as soon as I walked in.
It is clean and tidy and has a good selection of books, there's Something for everyone. The books are arranged neatly and categorized clearly which I appreciate.
I had fun looking around and bought a couple of books.
The owner, Connie, and store helper, Alice, are friendly and welcoming.
I will be happy to return again in the future.
Happy Reading everyone!

I loved visiting and speaking with the owner Ms. Connie. She loves books and we had a deep conversation about them and the industry. Being a writer myself, I always appreciate another book lover. Drop on by!

Nice environment in the store. The staff is really nice. I went in just to find out if they would know where I could find a post card. Although I didn’t find out, the lady was very nice and genuinely tried to help.

Absolutely adorable little hidden secret! I found several books for excellent prices and the owner Ms Connie was friendly and engaging with my son. We are planning on making regular visits and bringing in books we no longer use for store credit!

Well do I have a story!
I am a huge bibliophile and one of the biggest joys of my life is to be able to go to indie bookstores and browse. But the best of those experiences are when I get to bond with the owner of the bookstore.
When I moved to Delaware, I was beyond disappointed. A bunch of the best indie bookstores had just recently closed down due to covid and I had access to no bookstores. I was depressed so much that my husband started taking me on long drives in the weekends just to find cute indie places for me to explore.
A couple days ago, a friend of mine told me about this bookstore and how cute and adorable it was. Then I looked it up and read the article they wrote about Connie (the owner) and her gorgeous and energetic personality and her love of books.
Well it was a wonderful experience! Connie showed me to my favorite genre shelves and she literally brought me a stool to help me browse. We talked sooo much about books it was amazing! Even my husband who is not crazy into books enjoyed himself, Connie helped him find some "factual" history books and constantly got him water when he was dehydrated! In the meantime a bunch of costumers came in and all of them were "my people". Sweet, bibliophiles, and super interesting!
As for the books, the selections were limited but beyond Beautiful and the prices are unbelievably low!
I found some really cool stuff, New Directions poetry paperbacks from the 70s, feminist essay collections by my favorite yet obscure authors, and an copy of Gunter Grass's flounder!
Will be going back there for sure, as this is exactly what I was hoping for in a bookstore!
Best of luck to Connie and her amazing mission with the books! People should visit her store as often as possible!

My favorite bookstore ever! I can get all of the books I need for prices I can actually afford and the owner is so sweet.

Great selection of cozy mysteries (as well as the more traditional mysteries) and fiction and non-fiction selections! They also have a nice children's collection suitable for the younger audiences.
The owner of this independent used bookstore is very knowledgeable and helpful. If you bring in your used books, you can get credit toward purchases. It is well worth repeated visits for book lovers!

My frequent visits have been highlights of my day. Connie, the owner, offers me a extensive selection of books and will offer helpful suggestions which have included introducing me to authors and exciting reads. The store is a bit out of my neighborhood and it's worth the drive. I have found a wonderful bookstore and a new Best Friend.

One of our favorite places to visit is bookstores, particularly 2nd hand bookstores. We were pleasantly surprised to find this little store while driving down Philadelphia Pike. The owner, took her time to greet us and make sure we located our areas of interest. Our conversation with her was just as delightful as the books we found. In a time when bookstores are becoming a rare find, it was great to see this place still in business. Please stop by and support this establishment, you won't be disappointed.

My first time here. Connie, the owner, was very friendly, helpful and a fun person. The store is very, very clean, no musty smells or odors. She had books in excellent condition, her helper, Alice, was very polite and helpful too. I will go again. Tje 3 of us had a great conversation as I checked out. Happy to have found the place.

I went here for the first time today and I absolutely love this place and will be back again and again. I got 4 books for 16 bucks. You just can't beat that and you can bring books you already read here for someone else to enjoy. They have such a diverse selection of books.

Adorable little bookstore owned by an adorable and friendly lady!! This store used to be on Marsh Rd at the intersection of Silverside. Apparently the owner decided to close her store. An employee named Connie found a new location, renovated it, and opened at the new location. It has a great selection and good prices. I had a great time chatting with Connie!! I made a date to have a Guinness at Stanley's with her once the pandemic is over. Tell Connie that Johnny sent you!!
