Shaanxi Gourmet

Shaanxi Gourmet has delicious authentic Chinese food without having to drive into the city. The restaurant itself is very clean and casual and the staff are very friendly. They make everything in-house. I started with a lychee iced tea, delicious! My first plate was soybean paste homemade noodles. This was this noodles in a mouthwatering soybean meat sauce. The flavors were amazing! This dish also had fresh sliced cucumbers that tasted really good mixed into the dish. My next dish was pork intestine in a brown sauce. Pork Intestine, in general, is like eating extremely tender pork. It is delicious! This also had my favorite wood ear mushrooms, fermented black beans. This dish was a showstopper! I also tried their crispy orange sesame chicken. This was crispy, with nice flavoring without a heavy sauce. Definitely recommend! The egg rolls were a mix of cabbage, celery, and meat. They had a nice flavor. The duck sauce was traditional with a little spice added, possibly cinnamon. For dessert I had warm tapioca. It was also delicious!
The restaurant quickly filled up. It seemed the majority of the guests were speaking Chinese! I take that as a good sign. Shanxi is part of Northern China. I think they do an amazing job honoring their food. This is a must try!

Take out only sure to pandemic do we choose good that wouldn't lose their texture. Everything was very well prepared and delicious. The dumplings had a tender thick dough, boiled lettuce with homemade sauce was a hit with kids. The hand pulled noodles were fantastic and we all enjoyed the west lake minced beef tofu soup.

The lamb skewers is nice. I love the hot oil seared hand made noodle. Will come back！

Dining in is back. Deliciously authentic Shaanxi regional foods, like hand made noodles and lamb dishes. "Boiled Lettuce" may not sound exciting, but it's awesome with a savory sauce.

I'm a huge mapo tofu enthusiast, and I must say, the mapo tofu here is truly exceptional! The robust Sichuan flavor is precisely what I was craving, and the generous portion size exceeded my expectations. The variety they offer is truly impressive! Will be back again for sure!

WOW. I’ve driven past this place a million times without giving a second thought. The hand-pulled noodles are as good as any place in Chinatown (Gene’a Flatbread being the benchmark) and the crispy dumplings were outrageous. Tangy sour dipping sauce and baby bok choy. Very, very good. Will definitely be back. The food did well as takeout.

Delicious & authentic super affordable Chinese food. Our family of 4 spent less than $100 on dinner with so much leftover for lunch the next day!
If you are a spice lover, you have to check this place out; even if you don't like spicy foods, they have a wide selection of mild/non-spicy apps & entrees. I love the lamb skewers and spicy fish fillet. Food comes out piping hot and super fast so it's convenient for a quick lunch break or takeout.
It seems to be a family business and they all are so nice and helpful so don't be shy to ask about anything on the menu!

Delicious hidden gem with Chinese regulars in a laid back environment. They've got some delicious vegetarian options too--just ask!
Waitresses are friendly and helpful as well.

Shaanxi Gourmet is the definition of happiness on a plate for my family. It’s that type of restaurant where if you’ve been before, you have expectations of the dishes u order but each time you go back it’s like trying the dish for the first time it’s sooo good. And if you haven’t been before… the food is soo good it’ll keep you coming back as a regular!! 😋
Returning with my family to Natick for the first time in 4 years, we could not be more excited to hear that the restaurant is NOW OPEN FOR DINE-IN AGAIN!!!

Authentic flavors, well-priced. And so glad the indoor dining is back. If you don’t know what to order, just get everything on the front page of their physical menu.

I'm surprised to see the average rating for this restaurant - they have great, truly authentic Chinese food! All our favorites are on the menu. Fresh flavors, the food isn't drowning in bland sauce, plus large portions. I prefer this restaurant by far compared to a more frequently recommended place in Framingham.

So excited they re-opened for dine in. Some of the best Chinese food in the area and the staff are so nice. Can’t wait to explore more of the menu. The take out was great but it’s so much better dining in. Go here asap and order things you wouldn’t normally order because that’s what is great here

Hands down best Chinese food in MA I have ever tried. They not only just offer the authentic Chinese food you may find in other Chinatown restaurants, but also Shaanxi specialty as their name indicates. They therefore offer flat noodles and lots of dishes in lamb and cumin, reflecting the Xin Jiang influence. Absolutely phenomenal.
