This was such an AMAZING experience! Cherita was very professional and responsive to all my questions and needs about the cake that I wanted for my wife's 40th birthday celebration. Cherita is so much bigger than Delaware and I can see her doing BIG things in the future for celebrities. Cherita is a star!

I will never use another baker, ever!! Cherita (Moon Child Sweets) is the absolute BEST!!! I’ve been ordering cakes/cupcakes/cake pops from her for every occasion and I’m never disappointed! Everyone always raves about how delicious everything is!!! My favorite thing would have to be the chocolate and vanilla cake pops, but everything I’ve ordered has been amazing! Cherita is also an angel for putting up with my special requests, pickiness, and my last minute orders! Her desserts always ruin my diet because I just can’t resist them!! Yum!!

We are a repeat customer of Cherita's and she is fantastic!! The cakes are always delicious and moist and look absolutely incredible. We are amazed at her designs every time - the cakes get so many compliments! Cherita knows better what we want that we do! If I have a basic idea she knows how to make it amazing! We've had a beautiful 50th Anniversary cake for my parents who were thrilled, a multicolor computer keyboard cake for my nephew, a horror-themed cake for a Nov 1 birthday, and most recently, a Slimer cake! Cherita added a drip pattern for the slimer cake, and even threw in a cute Slimer keychain to go with it! I can't wait to see what she does with my next order! I can't recommend her enough!

Two days before my daughter's 6th birthday, I realized I didn't have a cake! I found Moon Child Sweets on IG and from the time I contact her to pick up, she has been nothing but accommodating. She chatted with me throughout the day to get the order right, even though she was in the middle of a pop-up shop. We settled on a chocolate cake, which she said she was kind of known for. It was to die for. The cake tasted just like Hostess Suzy Q. It was really good. I will definitely be using Moon Child Sweets again. And she even made a cake topper for us. My "what I got vs what I asked for" did not disappoint, it actually exceeded expectations...Thanks for helping to make my daughters day a success!

I've ordered several special items from Moon Child Sweets and I cannot say enough wonderful things about Cherita and her gift of making the most delicious baked goods. It's not just her ability to make delicious cakes and cupcakes (of which we've ordered both) but how creative and open she is to making special things for special events. My husband and I love camping and for his 40th birthday I wanted to replicate a camping scene. I talked it out with Cherita and she was able to create this brilliant cake pictured below which looks exactly like our actual tent. My husband loves chocolate cake and said this was the best he's ever had- and I completely agree!! I've also ordered custom cupcakes to celebrate another occasion and wooooooo man we both dream about that buttercream icing. Thank you, Cherita, for your amazingly delicious talents!

I asked for a chocolate cake. Nothing but chocolate, no other flavors. Beyond that and a number of servings I bid her do as she pleases as one should when commissioning artists of any merit. She did NOT disappoint. The Italian butter cream icing was amazingly chocolatey without being overly sweet. And the texture and body of the icing was firm and smooth and melted on the tongue perfectly. The cake was likewise delicious and its texture was perfect, not to too dense or too fluffy. The layer icing was a lighter chocolate that added dimension. She decorated it with custom gold dusted chocolate forms that were equally delectable and provided a lovely snap to finish off this insanely decadent and satisfying luxury cake. If you have a palette and want to impress you cant go wrong with Moon Child Sweets in New Castle DE. Literally the best chocolate cake ever. Prepared on time as promised.

I asked for a custom cake for my nephew’s 21st birthday. He loves Kill Bill, so we had to have a Kill Bill cake! Oh my! Did she deliver!! The cake looked fantastic, far beyond what I thought it could be. The fondant was perfect and it was detailed beautifully. Then, we dove in. The cake was so moist and delicious. Customer for life!

Met them while at Bellefont craft fair! I asked for their personal feelings on the cake slices VS pumpkin rolls and they really thought about it and had a dialogue about baked goods! Love to see it, that’s a lot of forethought about making customers informed and happy with purchases. Tried the pumpkin donuts and pumpkin roll and both were great options.

First of all this woman’s customer service is the best ever . She was very kind through the whole transaction, the cupcakes turned out too cute. She went above and beyond for the m&ms on top of the cupcakes.Just the sweetest woman. Cupcakes were delicious thank you very much.

Cherita is THEBOMB.com !! Our cake for our son’s 2nd birthday was a 2-tier vanilla & chocolate Cars movie themed cake and she did her thing !!! It was just as delicious as it was beautiful & her customer service is A1. Very professional, prompt & charismatic. 10/10 would recommend !
