If I could give 6 stars I would. The restaurant is located in a historic building in the heart of the downtown community. The atmosphere is cozy and quite charming. The staff is very professional knowledgeable of the food, and just downright good people. This was my first occasion to visit and I wasn’t sure what I wanted off the menu, in an effort to try something new I asked the waitress to order for me. She brought me one of the most amazing omelettes I have ever had the pleasure of devouring if you have not stopped into the Berry Fields Café, I highly recommend you do so. The sign on the door also mentions they have desserts, sounds like I might need to make another trip down here

This is half of my plate! My husband and I shared an omlett, which was the best we had ever had. The prices are high for one breakfast but if you can share it is reasonable. The gravy we got as a side order was excellent. We would totally go there again.

First visit and I am thoroughly impressed. Staff was enthusiastic, friendly and helpful. The restaurant was clean with a great layout providing 2 and 4 tops and booths. The tables were situated to be bright (large natural light), normal or cozy niches with dimmer lighting. Staff is the best I have encountered in a long time. The food was amazing and unless you're really hungry, you will more than likely be taking a leftover container. Open for breakfast and lunch (5p.m. closed). They do have the option for takeout. I will be going back and referring it to everyone!

This is my husband's favorite place for breakfast! He gets the 11oz Chicken Fried Steak, and he loves it every time! My favorite dish is the Cranberry Bog for lunch! Great homestyle feel with quick service and friendly wait staff!

Update: 8/4/22 We stopped in again for breakfast, this time I got the Cinnamon Roll French Toast, it was delicious!

Delicious. Homemade fresh. Great biscuits and Homemade jelly. The homefries are so light and fluffy. Really nice servers. Prices very reasonable. I will definitely be back!

I’ve been coming to Berry fields for the past 25 years. Whenever I’m in town I make it a point to visit for breakfast and lunch. It’s a truly incredible place and the food is amazing. The best French toast I’ve ever had. They make their own oatmeal bread and it’s absolutely fantastic. The portions are so generous and I always have enough food for two meals.

Went with a big group - called about 15 minutes before arriving and they were ready for us. Service was great for such a big group at that time and the food was delicious! Fresh, quick and efficient! Would absolutely recommend for a stop between Portland and Seattle

Located in historic downtown Centralia. Excellent breakfast selection with friendly staff. Nestled inside the previous Elks Lodge built in the early 1900’s. Check out the rest of the building if you enjoy historic spaces. Lots of cool black and white photos covers some of the previous history as an Elks Lodge. I was glad to see the building is kept up in nice condition and repurposed with this nice restaurant. It’s just a few miles off of I-5 and definitely worth the few extra minutes to get there.

Utterly Charming - Berry Fields Cafe delivers the small town hospitality with the classics we all know and love. The food was excellent and the waitstaff went above and beyond to make you feel welcomed. Many of the bites and sweets are homemade and it shows. There are also plenty of vegatarian and dairy-free options. Would highly recommend.

This is a great place. Very clean and comfortable. Food is fresh and flavorful. Best clam chowder, and I grew up in Seattle. Oh yeah, very nice homemade desserts. Staff were all friendly and welcoming. Especially our server, Jimena. She was kind and attentive. Definitely a must visit in Centralia. 👍

Food home made style feels healthy, not strong flavor but tasty, servers are extremely kind. Easy to park and big dining area. Really recommend this place.

Great place for a good bite! Breakfast and lunch served only. This place is like country cooking we grew up with.. Fresh ingredients, good honest to goodness real food, and great service. Be ready to take 1/2 your order home! My favourite eatery when heading to Centralia for bfast or lunch.. everything I've tried here is great.. They also have homemade pies and cakes. Really worth your dining experiance.

We have been here multiple times for breakfast and lunch. Servings are extra large, and delicious. Wait staff are very friendly, quick to take your order and refill your beverage. Parking is plenty.

We have been gping to berry fields for years and never had a bad meal. Today was Mother's day and again they did not disappoint. The panini was fantastic and the almond chicken salad was tip marks...Throw a dart at the menu and you will not be disappointed..

Food was great and service was fast and friendly. We'll definitely return here!

Update: went yesterday with a large party and they were so so busy. Service was still excellent and no change in quality of food.

One of the best places I've been to for lunch in Centralia/Chehalis. Huge Portions - most will need to get a plate to bring the leftovers home. Great pies, cakes, and dessert as well. The restaurant was clean, well-lit, and organized as well.

The staff are friendly and punctual, ready to offer recommendations if needed.

1st time eating there. Two couples for lunch. The other 3 all have eaten there before and recommended it. My Bay shimp salad was outstanding. My wife's grilled crab sandwich was fantastic. The other couple both had large salads, one was the Spinach salad , the other was a bay shimp. Very large salads, they both ate and took over half home. Salads came with fresh bakes bread. Somebody took go there and be satisfied with the bread alone. We also ordered pie to go. My peanut butter cream pie was delicious. My first impression is: I will return.

Adorable café with service that exceeds all expectations. Breakfast was a delight and delicious! The breakfast sausage may have been a highlight as it was cooked perfectly to accompany a scrumptious waffle smothered in blackberry sauce!

Only recommendation is to offer gluten-free toast!

The main entrance uses stairs, and isn't handicap friendly. There appears to be an alternative going around the backside of the building tho.

Once inside, there was a small waiting area where we were quickly greeted and found a sanitized table for us. The wooden bench seats offered plenty of room and comfort, tho it could use a little padding for comfort.

Drinks were fast and great! Had a Forrest Berry Tea(hot drink) and a classic Arnold Palmer. There was a slight overlook with getting a refill right after serving our food, but it was a busy lunch hour there. This costs a star unfortunately, because I didn't order a nice drink just to wash down my food with regular water.

Food was amazing! We had a classic BLT and a Northwesterner. Both were truly top notch, and the ingredients piled high! For sides, we did some fries as well as Clam Chowder soup. Enjoyed the fries and really liked their version of a nice thick Clam Chowder soup.

While their desserts are truly tantalizing to the senses with their selection of pies on display. Unfortunately, the regular meal left us to full to properly enjoy them. My friends tell me it's worth coming in for them alone! I hope my next visit has room for pie too!!
