The best Indian cuisine ever. Absolutely love the food, the presentation, and atmosphere. The owner is very nice and I just highly recommend stopping by and eating here if you are ever in Woodinville. They have authentic Indian food, the quality ingredients and spices are wonderful. Definitely refreshing and different from my normal restaurants I go too.

This place and the food was amazing! I was really surprised although I shouldn't have been given the general appearance. Very well kept and very neat looking. The staff was very nice and professional which I really appreciated. I would definitely recommend this place to others and I'll definitely be coming back when I get the chance.

We came early on Valentines day. No wait. Ordered the Lamb Rhogan Josh. Ohhh, my! Paired with curried cauliflower and potatoes, and a nice IPA, im in Heaven! Our server helped me decide between biryani, and the lamb rhogan, and his choice was perfect! Rich, tomato, onion, spices, lots of tender tender lamb. Im addicted. We got butter chicken that was very smooth, and delicious. 3 star heat was perfect. Hot in the throat, but still had full taste buds. My new favorite restaurant in Woodinville. Chocolate covered strawberries, and I forgot to take photos.... it is Valentines day, after all..

This is such a beautiful place to eat, with attentive and kind staff, and delicious food. I tried several things and they were ALL perfect. With this so close to my work I am grateful to have found a new favorite place!

Ordered takeout tonight. This is our second time trying this place and it is very good!! We ordered an array of things: butter chicken, screaming wings, mouth nagar & chili chicken. Everyone loved what they got. I don’t know why there are so many low reviews. The service was so friendly and helpful and we will be going here whenever we are craving Indian food.

Wow this place is yummy!! They were very busy and couldn't seat us for awhile even tho there are many open tables they didn't seem to have the staff for the rush they had. I love that they have many different Naan options and that you can order a side of curry sauce when you order anything from the tandoori! What a lovely spot with great menu options.

Big fan of Clay Oven. Solid Indian cuisine. We often order three different spice levels and they do a great job of differentiating the heat! Saag paneer, butter chicken, vegetable kadhai are favorites. We always order takeout through Grubhub and it's always worked out very well. We've tried four other Indian restaurants in Woodinville/Redmond, this is our favorite and it's not even close!

Everything I've ordered off their menu has been excellent and they have one of the best waiters I've ever had the experience of serving me. I definitely recommend them. I've been back with friends since and they've had the exact same experience.

Greatest Indian food in Woodinville, but something's changed. Everything on the menu is prepared amazingly but they've pared back some offerings and sizes. There used to be a sauce and chip complimentary offering when seated, but no more. The wait staff is new and perhaps we're just learning still when we dined on Father's Day because we had to call them over several times as they weren't as attentive as staff in the past. Overall, food was still good and our kids love coming here because the chicken tikka masala is the best!!

Food was amazing. Might be the best food I have ever tasted. I had curried mussels and butter chicken. Prices were very reasonable since a single entree and appetizer was plenty enough to feed 2 people. The waiter was polite and courteous: most professional service I have ever had. It was so good, I plan on going back there again next weekend!

I've eaten here for years... although the dining room is almost never busy I think Covid helped them a ton. They're always busy with online orders. The food is authentic and awesome. As dumb as it sounds the better chicken can't be beat! Enjoy!!

The service was friendly, prompt and accommodating. Food selection was broad but on theme with traditional dishes. Preparation was exceptionally good. Ambiance is very nice, a step above the ordinary. Prices were reasonable, especially given the quality of food. We will definitely be back, regularly.

If you have nothing good to say! Say nothing. Clean, courteous, responsive. Nice to get a real cloth napkin.
The food according to the owner was tamed down for the general public. True Indian food is very spicy which you can order, so you might want to ask a few questions if your a true connoisseur. Dont assume it's the same as India.

Enjoy the food as an American who does not want his mouth burned out. Besides it's nice to taste the lamb or chicken without the fire in your throat.
I've noticed alot of complaints about the food are folks from India. Huh!

Clean, calm, smells and tastes wonderful. However, keep in mind this is an Indian restaurant serving delicious, but not quite authentic Indian food. It's wonderful, but if you are looking for authentic experience this may be just a wonderful restaurant. That said, it can be spicy and great.

Their butter chicken is the bomb! I don't even like Indian food but I love clay oven! Their cheese Naan is good too. Great service. Nice place. They also have take out.

Their coconut curry is divine. Never a wait for a table, they aren't a fast food place. This is the sort of place you go to eat and enjoy and have good conversation. Relax! Bartenders do a good job as well, we've yet to have anything not be good, though some things are better than others!

They have flavors from hot to sweet. Not all curries are hot or are meant to be. If you want a specific type of flavor and aren't sure, ask.

I really enjoy eating here, the restaurant is always clean and the staff attentive and helpful. The Tikka Masala along with the Haryali Kebab are my favorites as they are both very flavorful. You are also given some delicious poppadom with dipping sauces to enjoy while you wait for your meal to be prepared.

Clay Oven is so good. Its one of those places where I'll not just stick with one thing on the menu but try other things each time we go because its all so tasty. We moved to Soyh Seattle so we're not able to come here as often but when we're in the area we try to go since its so satisfying. Greatly reccomended!

I've been coming here for 4 years. I love it. The service is slow, but I've never had a meal here that I didn't enjoy. It might not be "authentic" or may lack the spice some desire, but it's one of my favorite restaurants.

This is very good Indian food. It's a nice restaurant with very good food. The prices are a little high but definitely reasonable as it's a somewhat fancier restaurant. Expect to spend $20+ per person. I would strongly recommend this place. Good for special occasions or to take a date.
