Selah Family Dentistry

After going without getting professional dental care for 2 years I was apprehensive. The moment I stepped into the office I was very relaxed. All of the staff in the process of the visit put me at ease & explained each step of the process. I feel very comfortable about future visits!

If I could give this place 10 stars I would! After being told I had 9 cavities I needed to have fill and a moving over to the Yakima Valley from the west side, I knew I needed to find a new dentist in the area. I could not be more impressed with this place! Gina the dental hygienist is full of knowledge and answers any questions you may have about your X-rays and images that you don’t quite understand, and breaks it down so it’s easily understood and retained! Dr. Labrum is so funny and also very knowledgeable and helps you understand your game plan for any future work that may need to be done. After my whole appointment was said and done I was told I actually only have 1 cavity (YAY!). The front desk ladies are also really helpful with finding a perfect time that works for you and breaking down cost and insurance coverage! I could probably write a book about how much I love this place and I look forward to continuing my care here!

Everyone is so friendly, and they Work hard to make sure you’re comfortable. I love that. It’s always the same staff, there’s no turnaround in years, which tells me that it’s a really good place to work for as well😁

Fantastic, friendly, and helpful staff. Gina and Joelle were funny and warm but also so informative and went into detail to explain things to me and offer suggestions. Their incredible knowledge of dental health is apparent and appreciated. The doctor was also so friendly and welcoming as well as knowledgeable!

Ive never loved a dentist until this place.
My son has really bad anxiety about going to the dentist, he had one awful experience elsewhere. They've been so patient and kind with him, always doing their best to make him laugh and enjoy himself.
And they succeed, which is saying something he's a hard one to crack. 😅
He told me when we left today that it wasn't that bad and he doesn't know why he was scared, and that she was sooo nice.

Piling on here with another 5 star review for Dr. Labrum and his staff. If you are looking for a Dentist in the area then your search is over, this is the place. Until I became a patient here I had nothing but one bad experience after another with my dental care. I dreaded going to the Dentist because I knew they would find another tooth that needed a crown, or a root canal, or something else. After a particularly expensive treatment plan was presented to me at another local dentist I sought out a second opinion from Dr. Labrum and his recommendation was to do nothing! My teeth were not bothering me and I had no pain, he saw no reason for any further work to be done. I have been a patient here now for 4 years and he has never recommended anything other than my regularly scheduled checkups. My teeth have never felt better and in switching I have saved many thousands of dollars. From the front office people to the hygenists Dr. Labrum's entire staff is friendly, helpful and professional. I don't think I could ever get to the point where i actually like going to the dentists but as a patient here I would say I have absolutely no apprehension about going to my appointments here.

After searching different dental offices in Ellensburg and Yakima to solve our son's 2 cavities, we've finally found our dental home! Our first visit we met with Dr. Trevor Labrum and Gina, the Dental Hygienist to discuss potential outcomes for our son. They immediately made him feel comfortable and knowledgable about the procedures to come. Dr. Trevor provided a customized care plan for our son and even presented different options that aligned with our goals. Dr. Trevor's attention to detail and ability to break down complex dental technical terms into easy to understand language ultimately lead our decision to establish care here. (along w/ the sweet staff) Fast forward to our fist procedure (a wiggle) The Dental Team had us in and out. They know what they're doing around here and don't waste time! If you've been in search for a good Dentistry, this is the one! They're communicative, on top of things, knowledgable and so kind. Not much more you could ask for!

My husband and I have gone here for years. Briefly, we had to go somewhere else due to insurance. We were able to return this year, and were so very happy to do so! Dr. Labrum is so kind, and he is always sure to take his time and make sure that I never have the slightest pain during procedures.

Love everyone at Selah Family Dentistry!! I always feel like I'm in good care when I get work done at SFD. They're like my 2nd family and I can't imagine going anywhere else!

Love coming here....well, as much as you can love going to the dentist. The entire staff Is friendly and they make you feel comfortable through the entire process. Hygienist Tracy is awesome, funny, and thorough. Jackie and christina at the front desk are pleasant, and extremely helpful. Britt is a sweetheart, and Dr. Labrum is handsome, nice, and explains things in a way that makes it easy to understand. Highly recommended!

I was nervous to go in at first since it’s been a couple of years since I’ve been to a dentist, but I was welcomed when I walked in. They checked me in and they were immediately ready for me to go to the back. They were very kind. I really liked how the dentist informed me of what is going on with my teeth, and actually showing me my X-rays and where the issues are and how to potentially fix the problem I was having. The women who cleaned my teeth was aware of my sensitivity and would ask if I was okay through out, which I really loved. I will definitely be recommending this family dentist to people I know.

They have the best teeth cleaning hygienist and the best dentist I have met, and all around amazing staff. I have some childhood dentist issues and so I still have a hard time going to the dentist, they really make me forget all those issues and I leave having had a great visit every time (even after having a root canal [procedure done elsewhere] and a crown). I would recommend them to anyone needing dentistry work done.
