Howard's Drug

This place doesn't take all insurances for good reason. State insurance for sure has a rule that the pharmacy cannot fill prescriptions if it's not covered by insurance. This ethical business believes doctors and their patients deserve the choice to pay out of pocket for their medications. They have everything you need from sleep apnea equipment, wound care, custom orthopedic shoes all in small town. Buy here local.

I also have switched from Fred Meyers pharmacy to Howard’s & it’s been a pleasant experience. They are very kind and caring and you can tell they take good care of their customers. They are fast and efficient. They take time to make sure all of your questions get answered. No complaints. I wish they had an app or a way to refill prescriptions without calling. Maybe one day they will but if not I will still be sticking with them!

I called Howard's Drug 10 minutes to close with a prescription I had never filled at Howard's. Courtney answered the phone, and I explained the situation and issued with my current pharmacy. My 5-month-old needed this prescription, and Courtney took the time after closing to ensure my son received his medication. I have never been so impressed by a pharmacy; their staff was very friendly, and you could tell they all love what they did.

I switched my pharmacy from Fred Meyer to Howard's in Selah and my experience has been a complete night and day difference! The people working at Howard's are very kind and treat you like family. Dave specifically, has gone above and beyond to make sure everything is accurate, fair and even stayed after hours to allow me to get my prescription. I have nothing but good experiences with this pharmacy. I highly recommend!!!

The older man white hair and glasses been there since I was a kid always wave or say hi., just want to say you're so helpful and super knowledgeable. I'm glad this place has you. Thank you for always helping me glad to see the love you have for sick and hurting

A normal special order Over The Counter medications I get each month, my doctor has had me take it for years, was not available at my regular pharmacy. Howard's could not get my regular brand either, but found an alternative for me. They ordered it and got it in for me. But before I picked it up ...

I saw my doctor, and due to a worsening condition, he had me change from the OTC to a regular prescription medication.

When I went in to Howard's to explain I no longer needed the special order and wanted to pay the restocking fee for the 9 bottles of meds they had gotten for me, they said "no problem -and- no charge".

I was gratefully and pleasantly surprised. I appreciated how they helped a "non-customer" All the way around.

After bi mart closed , I was lost trying to choose a new pharmacy. I'm glad I was referred to Howard's. my first prescription done, billed ready to pick up within 20 min of my Dr. Calling it in, and they brought out to my car (I had covid at the time). 100% recomend

They know I'm allergic to lots of things. They know my insurance. They always have medical supplies I need(bunch of boys at home) the voice-mail is pointless if in a hurry but it says that. I like to just go in. It's old school but high tech. Really love it.

This pharmacy went above and beyond for me. I am fairly new in town - I moved to Selah 2 years ago. They have always been very fast - when I brought in my prescriptions they never had more than a 20 minute wait, but it was typically 10 minutes or so and I was out the door, medicine in hand. I came down with a virus earlier in the year and was miserable and desperate for relief. The pharmacist himself came out and spoke with me about my symptoms and sent me home with a few things that ended up helping. It is clear that the people who work here truly care about their customers.

Most importantly, they helped me figure out which vaccines I needed when my doctor was unhelpful. I'm a military wife, and had not seen my husband in a month, and after Christmas, would not see him again for several more months. My doctor had called in the vaccines very late and called in the wrong ones, and was then unwilling to help me at the last minute. They spent time looking up each vaccine I needed and ordered it so it would be there the next day. Without their efforts, I wouldn't have been able to travel to be with my husband over Christmas.

We have always used Howards Pharmacy since I moved to area almost 15 years ago. I love the personal attention we have received during some of the darkest times thru a medical situation with my health. The wait times when dropping off a prescription is usually less than 20 minutes. I definitely am amazed with their personal service after having to use a Big Box pharmacy in town and had to wait 2 hours for a prescription.
The owner knows his clients by name. I'm proud to be a customer at our Hometown pharmacy.

Very sweet people! Shops a bit outdated but the workers are amazing! When my schizophrenia meds where empty and my brother needed testosterone they stayed open a few moments longer when they saw my moms car!

Great service, BUT: the posted opening hours here on google maps says 8am, but due to COVID-19, they now don’t open until 9am, so just be aware of that. A simple phone call will confirm what I’ve just said.
