Fresh, local, and delicious Mexican food. Staff is kind and cordial. After ordering, the food was ready in under 5 minutes. Order via Clover (link on their website) for the lowest price.
Spacious and cheerful dining atmosphere with Mexican music playing in the background. Outdoor seating available too, weather permitting. Most meals are served with chips and an extensive salsa bar.
Ample free street parking is available.

Ordered takeout for the family and really enjoyed everything. The burrito was on point—wrapped in foil and good smoky flavor on the meat, not too much rice or beans as fillers. Tacos were big and really liked the alternative options like salmon and portobello mushroom. Will definitely add this to the takeout go to list.

Really great place for Mexican food. I got the Baja fish tacos with grilled salmon. It came with two tacos and included rice and beans.

Near the cashier. There is a salsa bar with many options available. The Pico de gallo was really good!

The grilled salmon in my taco was well cooked and not too chewy and the rice was also quite flavorful.

I would come back here to try the enchiladas as well since they looked quite good as well.

I made a special stop to eat here from happy memories over 10 years ago when I lived in Washington. The potato quesadilla is the best I've ever had with a crispy toasted tortilla and slices of perfectly cooked potato, covered with crema and cheese. You can't miss with this place. Worth the trip!

I love Ooba Tooba! I try to eat here about once a month and the staff is always so friendly. I recommend the Grilled Chicken Plate, Chile Relleno, or any of the quesadillas. The burritos are also very good, but not pictured.

I love Ooba’s. Love that their chicken tacos are still just as tasty and flavorful. Don’t like their new corn tortillas, though. The old ones were thicker and they threw them on the grill before serving. Now they seem like store corn tortillas and it’s only one, and they fall apart a lot easier. Oh well. Everything else is still the same. Just wish those old tortillas were still here.

One of a kind. I come here weekly. Food is amazing, salsa bar and glass bottle sodas are fun, but most importantly the people that work here, (especially Chat!) are some of the nicest human beings I’ve ever met. Thanks Oobas!

This place was hopping when we went in for dinner at 6 pm on a Sunday. The person who took our order was very nice even though he was really busy. I’m severely lactose intolerant and can’t have cheese/dairy. They have an option in their system for “no lactose” so, very easy to accommodate that. And instead of flour tortillas they were able to give me corn with the grilled chicken plate.

The chicken tasted so fresh and juicy.

You also get a bag of chips with your meal which are really good! Would definitely come back!

I have been going here for years, and it's a staple in my family. They seem immune to the decrease in quality -> increase in price trend that has plagued nearly every establishment since our emergence into early post-human oligarcho-technocracy. Maybe it's sentimentality but this place is consistent above all else and has never sold me a sub-par burrito.

This is some of the best food in Redmond. The chicken quesadilla and the cheese enchilada platter are both two of my absolute favorite meals. This place is an east side treasure.

Best Mexican food in the area!

All the burritos are great and the vegetarian options are also fantastic. Their chips are some of the best I've had and the salsa bar has something for everyone.

Just had the burritos and the chicken one was delicious 😋 Didn’t care too much for the cod burrito. Excellent and fast service.

What sets Ooba Tooba apart from the other standard Mexican restaurants in Redmond (besides the fun name) is the salsa bar; while this is generally a mainstay in a typical Mexican restaurant, it is rare to find the offering in this area. Enjoy your meal with a variety of fresh made salsa; I prefer the fiery habanero and the smokey salsa del dia. Speaking of meals, while the food is casual Mexican fare with that ubiquitous PNW twist, it is by all means delicious, if not completely authentic. The burritos are the best bang for your buck, with the pork offerings being my go-to.
Complementary tortilla chips with your meal are a big plus.

This place rules. Awesome burritos. Get the 12th man. Great salsa bar. License plates on the walls are fun.

The food is good, great customer service, and good environment. The owner or manger really cared and checked in a couple of times to make sure everything was okay. We were a party of 3 and we all thought our meal was great! They also catered to those with some dietary restrictions such as vegans, vegetarians, and gluten free options. I look forward to trying them again!

Had one of the best quesadillas. Started eating them before taking a picture and realized we should post a picture. Miss the salsa bar, darn covid . . .
