This place is awesome. Loved the cheese pastry, variety of selections and staff. The Chicago Dog is nothing to frown at either! Hard to find in this city.

Coming from a polish family I was beyond excited to check out Rise! All their freshly baked pastries looked and smelled amazing. Went with the apple cake and it was truly fabulous - just the right amount of natural sweetness from the apples. Also purchased a few different types of pierogis and they are all delicious! The store had lots of goodies that I remember from going to the polish bakery as a child. The owner was so friendly and informed us of a pierogi making class! Will definitely be on the lookout for that and hope to attend!

Amazing!!! Got my paczki for Fat Tuesday a little early this year. Fresh and delicious. I was drooling on my way home from the amazing smell. They offer lots of Polish food and treats. Can’t wait to come back for more :)

Updating my review 3 years later to say this place is still incredible!!!!!

I've driven past the Rise Bakery a few times and I'm so glad I finally stopped. It's a Polish bakery and shop, with loads of European products you don't see at most local grocery stores. Their apple cake was so good my picky kids devoured it before I could get a bite, and I'd love to see a wider selection in the bakery case. The store is clean, bright, and easily accessible from a busy road, with a fair amount of parking. I plan to stop in again.

Excellent food, friendly place. We had the Hunter's stew and the galupkes. Both were excellent, though if pushed to pick, the stew was my favorite. Desserts were also tasty. Staff is super friendly and the restaurant has the feel of a place that draws a continuous stream of regulars.

Great dog for $6, came out hot and with chips! Not a single part of the meal is generic for a hot dog, great poppy seed bun as well.

I stoped in today after attempting to make Pierogi. It didn’t work out. I absolutely love the owner Christine and her staff. Very friendly and knowledgeable. I ended up buying 4 kinds of Pierogi, kielbasa, polish candy and babka. The cheddar pierogi were the best I have had in years I will be going back for more!!!

This was a little taste of home!! Being born and raised in Chicago and of Polish decent, my standards for Polish food is high. When we moved out to Utah, the lack of accessibility to Polish food was immediately felt. I am so happy we stumbled upon Rise!! My only wish is for them to expand and grow.

Let me start out with this: We are from Chicago, and my husband is 2nd Generation polish. The Polish scene in Chicago is amazing, and we typically shop at the delis, freeze it, and fly it home with this. We had high hopes when we heard about this new Polish Deli with a Chicago native as an owner. Though it may not be as big as other Deli's. This place had good stuff!! They had a Made to Order menu for your basic Polish staples, plus some other stuff.
Also ready made sausage and frozen Deli items. Plus Polish Grocery.
VERY good stuff!!!! Lives up to its name!!
(And that pizza is a Pierogi Pizza! 😍)

You'll not find what RISE is offering anywhere else in the valley! I just love this place. The pastries, the sausages, the pizza, and the pierogi are perfect! The paczki are incredible!

All I need now is for Giordano's and Portillo's to open stores in Salt Lake and it'll feel like home.

I moved here three years ago from Chicago and fat Tuesday was always a sad day for me. my dad always used to bring home paczkis in the morning. Today I found this place! Thank you so much for bringing authentic Polish food to salt lake City! Absolutely amazing would definitely recommend their food and pastries!

Authentic Polish items, a collection of freshly baked desserts, friendly owners...love this place. Their new location is more spacious with sufficient parking. Their desserts are not too sugary...making them yummy

I really like it going there. They have all the syrups, pickles, baking supplies, and ingredients that I would need to make a European or a Polish meal. They also often a half Polish pastries and desserts, and some specialties that are seasonal. And, their customer service is fabulous. I like going there!

It’s a great Polish Deli right here in Salt Lake City! Probably the only one too, so that’s why it’s a gem. The food is typical Polish food (tastes incredible, but might be odd for people unfamiliar with Slavic food). Love coming here for the food and groceries.

I wasn't at all familiar with Polish food or pastries, but I am in love with their Bigos, the Polish hunter's soup. Such a good lunch! And don't forget dessert! This time I got the poppyseed cake and Szarlotka (Polish apple cake.) So flavorful but not too sweet. Delicious!

This place was a hit. The food is authentic and delicious. The pierogies are so good. The cabbage rolls are fantastic. First time going there today and we will definitely be going back. 😋😋

This was my first visit and the food was absolutely wonderful. The person who helped us went above and beyond anything I expected in making sure that all our needs were met. I can't wait to go back.
