Quality Inn Downtown

The employees were great, two in particular was very kind 😊, they had good coffee and a waffle maker at breakfast, also a nice juice dispenser available during breakfast. There's lots of homeless in this area, but I still managed to walk to a couple of restaurants and make it back safely. Parking is not so great downtown so it was nice that there were loads of places I could get to on foot!!! The room smelled odd and the walls are a little thin so you can hear into the next room but they gave me a extra thick cover to use which was nice. I noticed stains on my top cover which is why I asked for another. Other than that it was great for the price, there is a $100 deposit required. The shower pressure was great, the room had older merch but for the price you can't really complain. The TV works and had good channels.

Honestly one of the nicer places I've stayed at downtown. Was a very nice hotel for the price, rooms were clean and comfortable. The description and pictures were straight forward. Very nice if you're just staying for a night. I'm seeing a lot of reviews about the man at the front desk being rude but he was so sweet to my friends and I. Didn't have any problems the entire time. One thing to know though is there is a 100$ deposit, but honestly you should expect a deposit in that range for any hotel. If you're wanting somewhere fancy spend the extra money, but this was perfect for a little girls trip and just needing a place to sleep :)

My and my family are in town for an emergency, so finding a place that was affordable was one of our big factors. Staff was very nice and patient with us, breakfast was standard continental- very organized and well stocked. Rooms were clean, and the one that really hooked me was that the beds were very comfortable, and the shower was fantastic - great pressure, full range of temp, nice towels. It is not luxury, but it is a nice and quiet place to come back to during one of the most stressful times of our life. I am incredibly grateful to the staff for what they do here, as it is done very well.

Not bat at all for the price, have to take the location into consideration before booking. It's right next to a homeless shelter so you simply can't be surprised to see a few homeless wandering.

Room was clean, front desk was welcoming and accommodated a beyond early check in for me. Never experienced that before so big thumb up there! Breakfast area was clean, organized. Food was as expected. Enough to get you going for the day. Can't complain at all!

I like this place peaceful and quiet..I don't here no drama
...all the stuff in the rooms it good I sleep good..but I take sheets an pillow case off the pillow an take sheets off the bed..I did clean my mess up..take garage out to..I am housekeeping at teddy hotel in Newtown North Dakota..one day I do like to work here...I clean everything..I move to Salt Lake City Utah..

Had a bit of a scary experience with the Motel 6 nearby here and we canceled.
My dad found this place for me and my friends for us. And we stayed here instead for our Fan X trip.
A whole lot cleaner.
The staff is very kind, just like they were at Motel 6.
Our room had more beds for us. Clean bedding. Didn't reek of smoke which I liked!
Feels sager.
Had a mini fridge, TV that works, microwave, nice shower, A/C unit that works nicely.
Would highly recommend!

For a budget hotel, this place is fantastic! Friendly staff and clean rooms. However, the beds are the most comfortable ever! I felt like I was sleeping on a cloud!

These are the amenities I found useful at this quint place after my surgery (close to the LDS hosp).I was  acomedated to very well (Room bottom floor).   Before I gave my mere 100 $ deposit I asked to see my "budget" Room?  My experience was it had a nice remodel done. Shower, tile , sinks were more than sharp. No smells, no smoke.  Refrigerator, micro wave, TV worked. Large ice machine, nice for my post surgical ice packs.  Laundry had very nice machines. Snacks are same price as gas station.  Coffee and toast, waffles are just enough to get you going, it's  Continental folks.
Lil workout room, with bathrooms by elevator so no need to run upstairs while using any amenities downstairs.  Gated parking with many cameras on property, that is monitored at front desk.  Cute lobby with nice lounge. Has business room also!
If your not trying to sneak extra people or pets in ( there's an upcharge and rightfully so.) You shouldn't have a problem with mgmt.
BTW all hotels have people coming and going and noise , if you're that sensitive bring ear pods or plugs, simple solution.  Sorry about the novel folks but this business deserves the rating.  Again it's a matter of opinion. Thanks Ross, and Ghandi.

Great experience at the Quality Inn in Downtown Salt Lake City ! Rick, Ross and Gandhi were very professional and kind ! Breakfast was delicious they serve waffles and coffee :) . The hotel is walking distance from City Creek trail, City Creek Center and less than 10 minutes away from the airport. Loved my stay ! Thank you to the team !

It was nice and clean place to be when you rent a room from the motel or. When I do get rooms at motels I always check under the bed make sure it's clean. And that quality inn it is little bit more expensive but it's too bad they don't have six stars I would give it staff and everybody was good thanks quality inn and staff great job

When i was looking for a hotel to stay in last minute December of 2017, I came across the Quality Inn and was shocked by how reasonable the price was for the convenient location directly downtown Salt Lake City. I had no reservation, just a walk in. The man at the front desk (Dev was his name) was more then attentive and instantly made me feel welcome. It was very clean, and cozy. My room was extremely clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Only con, was the channels on the TV came in fuzzy. But it was tolerable. I attended the complementary breakfast, and was more then impressed. They served sausage, eggs, bagels, toast, waffles, cereal, yogurt, fresh coffee, juices, and fruits. The staff was in the dining room frequently within the 30 minutes i spend there making sure everything was fully stocked, fresh and tables were bussed and clean. I was very impressed. The woman at the front desk was more then friendly, and just as welcoming as the evening gentleman (forgot her name, but a woman with glasses). All and all, I will definitely be back. Thank you for an awesome stay this past Christmas season.

Literally the best customer service ever!! Dev at the front desk works the evenings and also manages. My family visited from Washington DC and it was a trip that quickly went sour until we met Dev at the Quality Inn. He made our stay so comfortable and welcoming for not only my husband and I but our son. Extremely personable yet professional, I was very impressed. The rooms are clean, the housekeeping is trust worthy, it’s a great safe location with 52 cameras. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

The staff here are very helpful and friendly. The room is quite modern and well laid out. Big enough and comfortable. Very clean. No bugs. Shower is great and water is hot. It's a very solid breakfast with eggs, sausage, potatoes and the accompanying regular expected things. If you want fancier coffee, Starbucks is right across the street. Then just a block away is a great barbecue place... R&R.

Although the hotel needs some renovation, the room was clean, well stocked with a mini-fridge, microwave and coffee maker, as well as good bathroom amenities.

The free breakfast was a pleasant surprise as well - the hot food included scrambled eggs, sausage links & potatoes, and there were plenty of cold food to choose from.

The gentleman at the reception, named Harsh, was very welcoming and eager to please.

Bottom line - we WILL stay here again when we visit Salt Lake City next month!

I left my phone charger at the hotel, called them and they found it! Yahoo!! They were so kind and I was very happy to get it back. 😊. Very nice people. They always take good care of us .we come twice a year for check ups at the hospital.

I really liked the upgrades! My room was renovated, and it was great for the price. This hotel is across the street from the Red Lion, Hilton Garden Inn, and several other hotels. The area was good; I walked around at night and felt safe. It was about a mile walk to the Temple, and I enjoyed the sites along the way. Check-in was a smooth process; the front desk guy was very nice and professional. Keep in mind it's still a budget hotel. It always makes me laugh when you read reviews from people expecting 4 to 5 star accommodations...you get what you pay for people! To me, this was definitely more than I expected for such a great price. The other nearby hotels were 33% or higher in price which I felt wasn't warranted as this place delivered. I would totally stay again when I visit SLC!

Overall I had a great experience. The staff were all very friendly and hospitable. I have no complaints, the beds were comfortable and clean and the hallways smelled great. Its also walking distance to downtown but not so close to get caught up by downtown traffic. Theres also a beautiful neighborhood cat that lives outside who needs a home! We also had a good rate and would recommend this place 😎

We looked for a motel for an hour before calling this place, and the man on the phone was super accommodating. We came down, and paid 95$ in cash for the room, and put a $100 deposit down to agree not to smoke in the room. The gentleman at the counter was so friendly and accommodating, the room wasn't bad at all, it's central to everything in salt lake. I don't have a single complaint about this inn.
The neighbors above us were up all night, and the place is a bit outdated, but I would definitely come back. We enjoyed our stay here. They let our little dog come in for $25 extra, and it was one of the only places in town that made that possible.

I was staying here as my son was having surgery. There was a hygiene issue when we first got to the room. I called the front desk. Harsh came to us, brought new room keys, addressed the issue, and thoroughly checked over the new room. He called 10 minutes later to confirm that the room was satisfactory and we had all we needed. After surgery, my son was very unstable. I asked Harsh at the front desk for a wheelchair. He brought it out, helped my son into it, and pushed him to the room. Even helping him onto the bed; a task nearly impossible for me given our size differences. Harsh was absolutely professional, compassionate, helpful at all times. He made a difficult trip far easier! He is an asset to this company, and I hope he receives the recognition he deserves. I will be staying here for my sons future surgeries. Harsh has advised me to contact him, and he will get us into a room that is more accessible for future stays. Very grateful for his assistance and professionalism.
