This place is unapologetically a bar. They have a surprisingly wide selection of whisky and whiskey. A friendly, welcoming crowd and bar tenders that know what they're doing.

We love coming here and sitting outside! The staff is great and their fries are crispy, what more can you ask for. Proud to be a regular here.

Bartender was freaking awesome. The patio is well kept and people like to bring their dogs, which is pretty cool. Their burgers were very good. I enjoyed the garlic burger, and my buddy loved the Buffalo burger.

Best local hangout ever! Lots of Whiskey, Bourbon & Scotch plus the coolest bartenders and some really great locals and delicious local beers! Bingo, Darts & Trivia Game nights!!!

I haven't been in this town for about 30 years, I just came back about a year ago and found the tap room again! And a new location, but still, it's the tap room! Every time I've been in, just Ed always takes great care of his daytime patrons. Prices are good, the wings are outrageous, and the menu selections are wonderful! I ran into a couple of old friends from the day, which makes it a nice hangouts. I can't imagine how anyone can give this place a bad review, it is a local joint, but that being said, some of these locals have followed this bar through three different locations so that alone says something! Even my wife, who is the pickiest in the world, loves this place! We are from Hawaii, and commonly avoid the popular places, this is an underground gem!

This bar is outstanding. The bar tenders are friendly, the patrons are, mostly, just regular hard working people. It's dark and it's generally not too loud, at least not during the week. I don't really go on the weekends but this is 100%, By FAR, my favorite bar in the city. If you go, tell them hi from me and please. Leave the outside stress behind, enjoy a drink, and relax.

Tap room is a bar that straddles the line between a classy place to drink with amazing food and a dive bar with friendly patrons where it's easy to feel at home. I've never been disappointed by the food and if whisky is your thing don't skip this joint!

Great local hang out. Best price on alcohol in the area. Great collection of whiskey and bourbon. They now have a food menu. They do have a patio. The blue cheese burger was fantastic. Would highly recommend if your into a small bar feel.

Good food! I love their adult pbj, and their fries. My friend always gets the carne asada fries and swears by them. The bartenders are friendly and service is quick! Thanks for the laughs, Garrett!

I love this bar!! Hell, it’s safe to deem this my watering hole. Every single person on staff here is just the bees knees! Drinks come quick, the music on Sundays is awesome (as are the tacos and service). Nothing but good positive vibes👍

Tap Room seems to be a hidden gem in Salt Lake City. The bartenders are friendly. The prices are very reasonable. Casual spot. Lots of room inside and a great patio, too. And the best whiskey selection I've seen in SLC. Highly recommended!

It almost feels like a Sugarhouse secret. A well lit bar with lots of seating away from the bar. The patio is secluded and has a pinch of European romanticism to it. I've seen one small acoustic act play outside, but I'm not a regular there. The staff impressed me with their positive nature and ready to help attitude. Lots of bars in Utah that I've gotten negative vibes in, but never at the Tap Room.

My partner and I had our first date here. Been together just over a year now, so there's a great deal of sentimental value to this place. The bartenders are friendly. Beer and whiskey selections are phenomenal.

The Tap Room is a Sugar House institution, which has been dedicated to providing great service at reasonable prices for years. It's the hole in the wall bar that treats you like family, whether it's your first time, or you've become a regular.
