La Baguette French Bakery

First time visitor and will definitely be back! The Fromage bread on my turkey and Swiss was absolutely amazing!! Fresh lunch meat and cheeses… picked up baguettes for a baby shower and I’m returning again soon to try the quiches, pastries and salads!! So hard to choose!!

I work literally just down the road and have been wanting to stop by and today was the day. Well, as I told the polite girl helping me…I’ll be back!
I wanted one of everything, but settled on the salted caramel cruffin (croissant/muffin) OMG, melted in my mouth and the buttery croissant mixed with sweet custard flavors were magnificent! I also got an almond croissant, a cheese baguette, and a fromage roll (which is NOT pictured due to me SCARFING it down once I got home—long night at work!). That fromage roll will definitely be a regular pick up of mine…the crispy outside & the random cheese-filled inside was beyond delicious 🤤

The Mushroom Soup is so delicious. It's a must try. The Cinnamon twist is so buttery, a must try. The Danish, which one, all a must try. My first time there, really nice experience.

From out of state and we stumbled across this bakery. Thank goodness we are from out of town otherwise we would be there way too often. Incredible mushroom and swiss quiche, the crust is light and the egg is light and airy. Apple Danish was sweet and light. Staff was knowledgeable. Haven't tried the blueberry cruffin, eclair, or the nougatin creme puff, yet from our purchases. They included a complimentary bag of sweets(assuming it was day old). Their raspberry Danish was so good. Cinnamon roll was made with croissant dough, and had nuts in it. If these items were day old, I would take day old over... hmm well anything!

Had such a great experience trying this close by bakery. The sausage and potato quiche was absolutely delicious! I also purchased a blueberry muffin and strawberry tart, I can not wait to return for more!

I live in Baltimore but that doesn’t stop me from frequently taking Saturday morning trips to La Baguette. Food is so good I would drive farther lol. Always greeted with a smile.

AMAZING FOOD! Super nice staff, adorable bakery. I could have eaten 10 of the pumpkin danishes and the croissants were incredible. Great prices. A must go to! : )

Adorable little place. Had a croissant breakfast sandwich and a quiche. Delicious. Everything in the cases looked delicious from chicken salad to desserts. Eat in or grab and go. Worth a stop.

I'm always greeted with smilez. All the ladies there are lovely and glowing..I have to say I love their chocolate chip cookies. I didn't even know what snickerdoodle was, now I love it too.
I want to try everything there but I gotta watch my tummy lol. I love it there and anyone will too.

I love this bakery! I have been here several times for their cream of mushroom soup, great with a fromage roll. I have also enjoyed their cruffins. They have a different flavor every day and they are so flaky and delicious! I heat mine up in the microwave for a few seconds. Their sandwiches and crepes are also great. A must try in dover!

Welcome to France. La Baguette was like stepping into a small bakery in Paris. The corissants were delicious, the Brie quiche was to die for. Walking out and picking at a baguette was like taking a stroll down the Boulevard Saint-Germain.

Such a rare delight here in Dover. We lucked upon Customer Appreciation Day, and enjoyed samples of their chocolate salted caramel cake. I had the sausage, egg and cheese sandwich on the frontage roll. So good! Cheeses. Baked goods. Great coffee. Sandwiches. We will be back.

Went for their monthly dinner gathering. It was a great evening. Cost is usually about $60 per person. But everyday pastries and breads are wonderful and fresh. Other customers recommended to try their weekly meals, quiches, and sandwiches.

Love their pastries and breads! My favorites are the baguette and the chocolate eclair. Cute outdoor seating area is new.

The most authentic French bakery just walking into this small shop you feel like you are on a country side in Paris. The cruffins are unique and always changing with the seasons, the bread is always fresh, and the service is always amazing chef Ludavic and Anita will treat you like family and always leave you with a smile.

Lovely ❤ Such a friendly staff, warm atmosphere and delicious food! I highly recommend the parisien chicken croissant sandwich, and literally anything from the bakery case. Though, I am partial to the chocolate chip cookies 😉 Gets a little busy at lunch, but very worth the wait for the freshly made on site food with no preservatives.

We’re addicted to the place. It’s a gem. Fresh, hot breakfast sandwiches. Way better value than Starbucks or Dunkin. 10/10

Everything is freshly baked daily on premises . They offer a variety of French delicacies both sweet and savory options available such as croissants au chocolate , galettes Bretonnes, quiche , soups, salads, sandwiches (hot and cold) and an assortment of breads . They sell Magelines macarons which are sold there exclusively in Delaware! My favorite bread is the baguette 🥖 I grew up on that and they have the best in DE , French flavors without catching a flight... priceless !
