McMenamins Ruby's Spa at Edgefield

My favorite place to unwind and forget about my daily troubles. Excellent people, beautiful spaces. The tea is my favorite perk. My facial with Monica was heavenly! If you love yourself, book it.

Used a gift card from Christmas time. Lovely space, very clean, cozy, and charming. I am totally forgetting my masseuses name but she was exceptional and made me feel totally safe and at ease. Being massaged by a stranger can be awkward but she made the whole experience so lovely, and natural. I really enjoyed the soaking pool before AND after my massage. The tropical vibe and feeling of total seclusion from the rest of the property was so cool. Definitely recommend treating a lady in your life to some pampering at Ruby’s Spa🥰

This is a wonderful spa. I've been here numerous times over the years, and it's honestly the perfect vibe for any occasion (my visits were before my wedding/bachelorette party, romantic weekend, friends night, and just solo).

The massages have been near perfect everytime. The only downside I've experienced during a massage was the MT talking the entire time which wasn't very relaxing, but she was still friendly.

They use aroma therapy, essential oils, and they make sure to ask permission before and throughout what you would prefer. They also have a mineral salt heated year round pool with a bar within walking distance (this bar uses seasonal fruits & herbs to enfuse custom, fancy cocktails).

It truly is the best place to go if you are looking for a romantic one night away/date night. Also gift cards are a perfect idea for those hard to shop for. I've also had a mani/pedi, and a facial-- all were equally amazing. Cost is pretty similar to other spas, but the mani/pedi's run a little higher, but it's also a high class place. Very worth the extra.

The best massages I've ever had are here. Period.
Add the soaking pool to the mix and you will agree that the word bliss has been somehow omitted from the name of this gem.

Wonderful people and services available! The environment is very artistically designed and the spa looks like a resort oasis.

My mom and I stopped here for lunch after seeing the waterfalls in the Columbia River Gorge. We wanted to do something spontaneous, so we called the salon to see if there were any openings for same day. They were able to accommodate us for 2 thirty minute facials. We both enjoyed our facials from Jennifer, they were actually fantastic! Jennifer gave a great personalized facial for each of us, she has great technique, and asked us questions about our facial routine. The soaking pool is such a nice experience before/ after a treatment.

Best place ever? Many acres, buildings, restaurants, a spa with a heated meandering pool and tropical vegetation, many gardens to wander, a hotel, a hostel, live music from tiny to give concerts, a golf course, a brewery, a winery, and so much historic art.

Me and my partner had a wonderful weekend there. We got a room and a pedicure scheduled. We loved everything about our stay. The room was awesome. The soaking pool was absolutely wonderful and beautiful. We went back and forth from our room, to the pools, to the nice shared showers, to our room, to our pedicure, and so on. Having everything you could want on site is amazing! It's the complete experience. It was my first time staying at a McMenamins but I've always loved the restaurants. I'm a lifer now for sure. I want to check all of them out and I will definitely visit this location to stay again. The soaking pool being open 24 hours would really make it even better. That's not a complaint though at all.

Peggy gave me the BEST massage I’ve received. She really listened to my needs and took time on my issue areas. She didn’t rush through the hour and truly took care of my body. I have been in so much pain after driving cross country and carrying stress, that’s all relieved now. The soaking pool was such a great added experience. I cannot wait to come back when it’s not as hot outside because the pool is heated and feels SO GOOD. They also provide extra soft and comfortable towels and robes. Such nice staff and amenities. I cannot wait for my next appointment.

Heidi was incredible! Worked with us to have a couples pedicure and hang out in the spa for a while. Most relaxing evening ever!

Very enjoyable experience here. Friendly staff and relaxing environment. I would say one of my favorites of the McMenamins soaking pools. The pool is only open to guests of the hotel or spa, which is nice because I could see this becoming very crowded otherwise. I had the hot towel shave which left my face smooth and skin soft... and apparently took off about ten years because I got carded while ordering a beer afterward at the Tea House Bar, which opens right onto the pool area, by the way.

Got a nail treatment here before doing a big event. They are so sweet and friendly and know their work inside and out. The soaking pool was phenomenal, and the little Tea Bar was a treat. I could easily spend all day here. Definitely taking friends back some time.

Great place to get a craft beer, fresh drinks, and amazing food! Highly recommend their burgers and sandwiches. I had their lemon drop and it was amazing! Make sure Archie is making your drinks, he’s the best!

Always a good experience when I go to Ruby's Spa. Friendly service followed by a relaxing experience. I purchased a manicure service and was very satisfied with the efdort and care put into my relaxation. Almost dozed off sitting up during the massage part of the manicure. I didnt take advantage of the free salt water heated pool soak that comes free with spa services, but I have in the past and its always worth it. Highly recommend going here.

BEST FACIAL EVER!!! I got a facial here and loved it! I almost fell asleep during the facial because it was so relaxing! I love that they use organic natural products! Everything smells edible. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. I definitely need to schedule another appointment here.
