I have been one of Mindy’s clients for over a year and I can say she is an excellent therapist! In all my interactions with her she has proved herself to be a valuable and insightful therapist. She is highly skilled at listening and asking the right questions to help you work through difficulties.
I have met her in person as well as attended her online group for women. She is always professional and incredibly empathetic. She has the perfect balance between being an active listener and giving sound coaching and advice when needed.

We went to Mindy for marriage counseling as a couple and had a terrible experience. She agreed to everything my wife complained about against me without even getting the story. After a couple sessions, I confronted her about it and she said that she was just trying to build trust with my wife to get her to open up. What she actually did was throw fuel on the fire. She seamed bitter towards men for some reason. I know these situations are very complicated and delicate, and need to be handled very carefully. However Mindy seemed to push more for a divorce rather than try hard to find the real problems and work hard to make the marriage work. We finally went to another counselor who took the time to find the real issues and understand the situation, which we discovered my wife was having an affair. I do not like writing negative reviews but felt I needed to let others know so they might avoid the pain we went through. I do not recommend Mindy for marriage counseling.
