Excellent park for biking, running, trail running, hiking, picnics. I come here everytime I'm in the area.

We really had fun camping here. I recommend getting ant repellent spray. There’s water as well as electricity. You can enjoy playing volleyball, fishing, swimming, and flying kites. Best thing is there’s a gas station 10 mins drive away in case you need to buy some drink, ice, or firewood.

Great walking and biking trails! I walk my dog in that area. Very seldom do I ever see the same place twice. There is so much there!

In the past 13 years this has been one place that continues to grow even more beautiful with time. Hiking in the Fall while the leaves are changing and lakeside swimming in the summer...small town living at its best.

Bring your furry loved ones as long as they are leashed....lake rules 😊.

Def a surprise for us, it’s just an hour away from Austin downtown area. We read this park only open from May to end of September due to funding issue. But it’s a very maintained park, we loved the white rocky hiking trail and the plants here. It has water, mountain and shade.
There aren’t too many sign and a visitor center, they could use more 🪧 signs, we weren’t so sure where to go. But glad we have all trail, did a short but lovely walk

We have stayed here before and really enjoy it! Although the lake is low, you can walk to the water. Restrooms with shower in walking distance and clean. Electric and water are a great plus! No flies or mosquitoes, but did see some ants. Well worth at to stay a day or two!

Great trails for running, mountain biking, or hiking! Sometimes you see horses, almost all the time there are dogs. It can be easy to get lost on the trails, so I would recommend taking a picture of the map before you start! Fence line is shaded and easier footing, great for beginners. Backstage pass is shorter and fun to explore the top of.

Challenging trails with great vertical climbs and views of the lake and sunset/sunrise.

Love it out here. The camp sites are a bit close together BUT this is what I wanted. I am learning to camp, so I needed a nice spot, close to town (for store runs) and not secluded to learn how to camp independently. There's a fire ring and a BBQ grill, water spout and RV electric hookups (as well as 2 regular AC plugs). Bathrooms and showers are pretty close as well.

Went here with a friend for a good hike and have to say I had a really great time! This park is huge and there are so many trails. In order to walk them all you’ll have to come here and explore multiple times. We spent about 4 hours walking and felt we didn’t even cover a fourth of what this place has to offer. Definitely a great place to bike or walk. Only thing I can knock it for is there is dog poop everywhere on the initial paths where dog walkers regularly lurk.

Lots of beautiful trails and views here. Was extremely clean minus a few articles of clothing. Saw lots of wildlife. Bikers were very courteous. Excited to try a new trail next time. Be careful not to get sidetracked, I did follow what i though was a continuation of the main trail but it was an offshoot and took me through some densely wooded spider infested areas whoops!

Beautiful place to enjoy fun, food, family and friends. $5 per vehicle to enter, you can stay all day. Places to camp, fish, swim, play volleyball, lay in the sun, barbecue or just hike. Some grills are provided as well as tables but you've got to get there early or just bring your own. Lovely view, deers are out often.

Awesome park with great trails, I’d say the difficulty it’s intermediate for bike riding with some sunken trails and rough roads but the views are beautiful and the people are great.

This park is beautiful! We went to visit right before sunset, and the pictures don't do it any justice! The water was clean and oh-so-clear! The park was well kept. There were deer wandering looking for food scraps.
Next time I will have to make a full day's trip out of this adventure!

Beautiful trails and views. You don't need to pay for park entrance if you just want to walk the trails. Park has picnic tables, kayaks, etc. Many of the trails are not shady so bring hats & lots of water.

The views are very relaxing, the morning time is very peaceful and relevant to reflecting on life or taking a break from everyday life. It's a certain place to bring family and friends whether you're hiking or just enjoying the escape.

Very relaxing place to just get away for awhile! Very good photo opportunity place as well. On a side note for the fitness buffs, between here and surrounding areas of stillwell lake; they are great for hiking and running!

Hiked 5 miles at this park took the fence line trail. Walked around the twin peaks and back. Wonderful trails clean and well maintained. Parking at the entrance can be a challenge. People park along the road way and the pavement drops down significantly. Be careful otherwise you will damage the underbody of your car.

I will always come hike these trails and when it gets more into summer I will be coming to swim. It's peaceful our here. And it's very pet friendly just keep em on a leash.🥰
