Everything was FRESH! I did their Monday special with 6 wings & fries… and added okra. Pepper & pickle were included. Owners were very kind.. I’ll be back.

First of all, I love my people. No matter how much they say we don't know how to service customers I always find some that do. Royal Chicken on Polk serves with a smile. LETS GET INTO THE OKRA❤ It's fried to perfection, medium seasoning is just right! I'm so happy I came here on my lunch, I was not disappointed. I took a big order of chicken home to my son's, and they loved it!!! Tore the Okra UP TOO!!

Listen boys and girls. I was out of town and very hungry. If you want the freshest hottest chicken in Texas, than this place is for you.

The only downside is you need to order online because it takes 15-20 mins to prepare it. But it is definitely worth the wait!

I had to unexpectedly feed a group of 18 and I am glad I found Royal Fried Chicken! Food was fresh! Service was great! My entire group was satisfied. Not one complaint! Job well done Royal! I will return.

This our first visit to Royal Fried Chicken and we will definitely be back. Their season mix is excellent, I believe we have found us a new Chicken place plus the sides.

Royal Chicken Is The Best In Town. The chicken is awesome I love the way they fry their chicken as you order it. The seasoning is wonderful. QMG!!! The peach tea is on point. Look !!!! This is by far the best chicken I’ve tasted as far as chicken go… it’s definitely top tier ( recipe) and the Staff is very intentional about how you’d like your food… feels personally catered everytime I visit..

Let me tell you all something. This is the best chicken spot I've had the pleasure to eat at. I don't know about the other spots but, this one on Polk street is the real deal. Seasoned as you requested, not overly done where it's too hard but just right. I've been looking for a nice joint to feed my family and this it. The lady that answers the phone is always so freaking pleasant and professional! I love it. I think it's black owned (please don't sell out).

[I liked Williams Chicken but it sold to the koreans, I liked Henderson on Ledbetter but it's garbage! Had singed feathers on the wings, I liked this barbecue spot called Smokey Joe's but I believe he sold to the Mexicans and his barbecue is fatty now, unseasoned, terrible presentation, sloppy, even sold me a raw potato with fatty chopped beef, but I'll stop here].

Seriously, this food is like what your grandmama cooked you back in the day. Much success! Don't change a thing!

My relationship was almost over. This fried chicken saved my marriage. Every since this chicken has entered our lives myself in my wife haven’t had a single argument. We just settle all of our disagreements over a chicken dinner.

The chicken is fresh and cooked to order, spice levels vary. I had medium which was perfect. I also got the perch fillet also good .they have daily specials too.

This restaurant definitely has the right name! From the first time I entered this facility, I was greeted with a friendly and genuine smile. The Service was great and I felt like my business was appreciated. The food was hot and very fresh. This was truly a Royal experience. I will be a loyal, repeat customer.

I went to Royal Chicken on polk street in Oakcliff on Sunday on New Years Eve 2023 . And the fried chicken and the fried okrabwas so delicious. Royal Chicken you rock!👌👍🤗😃

I had the 6 wings w/fries daily special. The wings were seasoned and cooked to perfection. The price point was reasonable and the staff was super friendly. I will definitely visit again soon.

Ordered the tenders, a single thigh, and 3 piece wings all amazing cause of that one of a kind dry rub! Can’t wait to go back!
