Forever Young Records

It is akin to being transported back in time…like the 80s. My experience has always been great the 15 years or so that I’ve been patronizing the establishment. I have accumulated quite a collection of cds from the store. The staff is always helpful and knowledgeable.

Huge variety of vinyl records, cassetes, CDs, and memorabilia in general. Surprisingly well organized and clean. Nice staff. That all comes at a price... It's a little pricey, but totally worth shopping at.

I've known Dave since the early days when he started with a little shop in Irving. He had an amazing selection then, and the selection at his store in Arlington is nothing short of astounding. The place is always well organized, and the prices are reasonable. If you have been searching for something for years, Forever Young Records probably has it, or can maybe find it for you.... and one thing is for sure, Forever Young Records will have something you forgot you wanted..... and likely they will have something you never knew existed, but you absolutely must have. 😉

I am a geezer.... As a geezer I love the early rock n roll the best... The 50's through the 90's.... A few years ago a house fire took my collection of oldies music.... We geezers road trip several times a year rebuilding my collection.... I had only a couple of items that I was looking for, lol.... Right.... I came out with eight treasures..... I repeat, I love this place.

Great place! Big collection and clean space. There is a ton of collectibles in their own space (close to the counter).

They have an amazing selection of Vinyl, CD'S, shirts and other memorabilia. Well organized and the staff are friendly and helpful. Prices are reasonable as well. When you decide to visit make sure to give yourself time because there is a lot contained in that building for you to browse through.

Crazy amounts of records, every generation can find something here. We love coming and flipping through them. Pretty sure this is my husband's version of heaven!!

This is the largest store I've seen for finding classic vinyl records, cassettes, CDs, and DVDs for every type of music available. They are neatly organized by decade and/or style. It is pretty easy to find what you are looking for. They also sell T-shirts.

I sold almost 60 CDs here from the 80s and 90s. They were all in good condition. The guy picked out the ones he wanted and made 2 offers... 1 for the ones he wanted and 1 for everything. I felt like he was honest and reasonable with his offers. He chose titles he doesn't see often. He was very courteous and professional.

Way better than I was anticipating. Employees were genuine and friendly and didn't look like a retail job stole their souls. Owner was
awesome and helpful as well. Go give them your money!

I went back for the 1st time in about 10 years and this place is still full of amazing stuff. And if something isn't there I bet they can get their hands on it. I highly recommend if you love music.

This store is one of the most awesome stores ever created! Miles of albums, CDs and even cassettes with a bunch of Tshirts and collectables thrown in for good measure. They had everything I was searching for plus a few extras. I will be back to continue adding to my collection!

We needed vinyl cleaner and this was the only store that had it, so we drove from Garland to Grand Prairie and it was worth it! 🤩

We were immediately greeted and helped with what we needed by a very knowledgeable associate. We then noticed there was so much more to this store! So we had to look around and had so much fun. We could’ve probably spent hours in there but we had to beat the 5 o’clock traffic, lol.

I can always find what I want and more! Record Store Day is a blast! They always have lots of copies of those coveted releases. You can easily spend hours in this store going through pure tangible nostalgia. If you love music culture check it out. If you are a vinyl collector then get in your car or Uber and get over there stat! You will be happy just going down memory lane and remembering what a great country we used to be.

Hands down one of the greatest record stores I have ever been to!! Amazing selection great hard to find gems! When you go plan on spending time it is totally worth it!!!

If you're looking to sell your records, this is also a great spot. Owner knows his stuff and doesn't try and lowball you for your stuff compared to other shops in the metroplex.

Absolutely the best Record and music store, probably in the USA. Thousands of vinyl, CD, and cassettes, and also meticulously organized by decades, genre, and artists. Everything is in alphabetical order too! Very easy to find what you're looking for. Multiple albums available by virtually anyone you can think of. New and used options. One could spend hours just searching around, taking it all in. When Tower records was at it's peak, this place is still better than that.

The variety is crazy and the employees knowledge on music and different genres are mine blowing..... Will definitely be a repeat customer.

Just left from FYR for Record Store Day/ Black Friday 2021 and got everything I wanted with no problems. I come here quite often and could easily spend hours going through the massive selections. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommended for vinyl-heads!
