Golden Gate Chinese Restaurant

I love chicken and broccoli 🥦. This restaurant makes it SO good. I have tried many of their plates and I have not had a miss. Swing by and enjoy. I love the authentic feel from the cashier to the cook. They put a smile on my face every time!! Give them a try!

After a rough day of work, I arrived home hungry. I ordered : Beef teriyaki steamed rice. Simply delicious. By the way , even when they said it will be ready in 30- 40 minutes, it was super fast. It takes only 15 minutes.. I strongly recommend this restaurant. 👌

Anthony Bourdain would have swooned over the food at this family owned restaurant. My boyfriend has been obsessed with this place for as long as he can remember, now it's all I crave.

My entire family has eaten here my entire life! It’s the standard for Chinese food. So good and always consistent!

I've grown up eating at this place. I have yet to be disappointed in what I get. It continues to be my favorite. It does need to be cleaned from top to bottom, really good. In order to feel comfortable eating there.

Found this place by accident and have fell in love. I’m from Illinois and couldn’t find a Chinese takeout that tasted like home! This is IT

Very good food, huge portions and great prices.

We have been coming to this place or calling for deliveries for almost six years, and in those six years I can count mistakes that happened on one hand. This place tastes great, the amount they give is plenty for kids to divide amongst them, and everyone is always nice! My only disappointment is the lo mein is an extra charge now, but given this difficult time, I’m an understanding customer. Now, excuse me as I order my family some delicious take out!

Despite some negative reviews we read online, we decided to try out this spot for late lunch around 2pm on a Friday afternoon. We were pleasantly surprised! Our experience was GREAT.
We ordered Kung po delight and Sesame chicken off of the all-day lunch special list ($7.50). We loved the service and our food and the prices were also, you guessed it, GREAT. Check out this long-standing restaurant the next time you are in Grand Prairie.

Out family has been coming here for almost 20 years and in all that time only 3 mistaken orders. And they fixed all of them.

I've been ordering delivery from this place for years. The food is always excellent. Staff is polite and friendly over the phone. Food is cooked fresh, so it takes a while to get to you, but it's well worth the wait.

6:30 Saturday night we ordered for delivery the combo platter sweet & sour chicken and pepper steak with fried rice and an egg roll. My husband ordered the Hunan chicken and steamed dumplings. They were here in 15 minutes. It was pipping hot and delicious.

I love Golden Gate. I (David) used to come when I was a kid with my family after playing soccer. That was over 20 years ago. Lots of memories here. Same great food.

Been going here for years since I was a child and I'm 31 now never had a problem with them. Food has always been fresh and fast. Friendly staff but we mainly get delivery now due to our busy schedules. Food is still always hot and delicious. Maybe if you're getting rudeness you may be giving it... Who's to say?

Placed an order for delivery which took about an hour but it was definitely worth the wait. If you pay with card over the phone they make sure they’re at the right house by checking your card before they give you your food. The food was bagged well and everything we ordered was there. Overall the food was delicious and I would definitely buy from this place again.
