You might have received some stories lately about us been shut down or under investigation. That is fake news!!!.
The IRS as a body has every right to regulate any Tax company and it is the right of IRS to correct any wrong doing if they found any one.

The IRS check every Tax office periodically and no one can stop them because they are doing their job to protect the customers.
So, most of these negative reviews you see are formed by our Tax rivals just to discredit us. We are leaving in an open society and people have the assumption that if I don't like you or your business, I can go and write a bad review about you.
Everyone has the right to expressed their minds but be aware of people that portrait other people as being bad.
I appreciate every constructive criticisms because they will allow us to make correction and serve you better. We are leaving in a life of competition and everyone want to do the same job and the only way to get customers is to scare people by telling them unfounded story.

It has been an amazing experience anytime i get my taxes done and documents prepared. The tax preparers knows what they are doing, honest, and there for you all year round whenever you have questions. They are over 10 years in the business and very strucutured.

WELL FOR AN OTHER WORK PLEASE DONT TAKE OUT ON SMART TAX CUZ I BEEN DOING MY TAXES FOR YEARS AND THEY HAVE ALWAYS BEEN GOOD TO ME AND FAMILY AND FRIENDS AND HAVE BEEN FOR MORE YEARS BEFORE THOSE SO PLEASE STOP BAD MOUTHING SMART TAX THANK U VERY MUCH

This year was my second year going to Smart Tax and so far my experience there has been awesome and no bad complaints. I felt comfortable there and was attended very quickly. I have heard bad things about this place but I pay no mind because we all know when there is bad service somewhere the bad news travels very fast but when you get a good experience not too many spread the word. So far this place has been awesome and will be retuning next year.

Just want everyone who has had a bad experience with an individual at out office to Know that just cause one individual does things her own way,doesn't mean all of that work there do the same cause WE DONT! And we can assure you that if anyone does experience something you don't agree with or not happy with please see the owner Mr. Smart ,he will make it right. He's a wonderful exceptional business man.

Awesome tax filing.. been using them for over 5 years ... Mr. Smart himself helping to me do the tax..

Never do business with Smart the owner or the company.I trusted the owner of the company who I thought would never put me in a situation and turn his back on me. I was audited for 3 yrs, he stopped answering my calls and text and pretty left me to deal with 21,000 to be paid off. He claimed a falsely business on my return . Please don’t do business they will turn their back on you. Now I had to do a offer if compromise. I had to pay back 11,000 and for the next 5yrs they monitor my return took my returns from last yr and next yr. This has a been a nightmare from hell!

One of their employees was arrested for cashing a customers money order that was supposed to be sent to the IRS. That alone says it all. When i called to get paperwork back which is legally mine, they made every excuse not to. They claim to give you the maximum return which they do but only because they lie on your return and once the IRS starts requesting information they are no help. Please do not go here. Oh and by the way the other review on here that claims they did such a great job on his return is the owner of the company... So don't fall for fake reviews.

I'm sure everyone here isn't bad and unethical, but Maria Roy was. My mothers experience here was very inappropriate, disappointing, and unprofessional. Maria Roy is cleary a scam artists with no moral integrity. My mother was set to get around $1,100 back. Maria took around $700 something dollars as a fee. It was never explained that the fee would be so high. When trying to contact her she ducked and dodged calls. She wouldn't be in the office, her employees would try calling her as well but no luck. Finally she answered a cell phone call. When asking her could she explain what happened, she yelled over the phone and was utterly rude. To add insult to injury, her husband then got on the phone and continued to curse my mother out and use foul language. We find it unethical that she discusses clients tax information with her husband, and lets him talk to her clients that way. The experience was horrible and distasteful. I highly advise this business to fire any person that displays behavior like Maria Roy did. Will never return to this place, back to H&R Block.

They are being investigated by the IRS. We was instructed by IRS to not have our taxes done there again.

Don't go there because I file my tax return the didint tell me we take fees from your tax refund and they toke half my money from my tax returns

Worst place to do your taxes! Be prepared to wait for 4 hours. Unorganized, uneducated associates.
