Bean Massey Burge was so accommodating and easy to work with. They really listened to our wishes and did everything they could to make our experience easier. They worked hard to help us make the memorial service personal and meaningful.

Denise Melchor held our hand during one of our families hardest times,she walked us patiently through everything, responded to calls, emauis and text on her off days and at any hour to help our family provide our beloved grandfather honor and celebrate his memory, she reached out to VA and Military individuals as well to aline everything, she treated us like her own family and took care of anything we required. Countless days and hours she made herself available. I found great comfort in her personal care, attention to detail and her sincere compassion. She was pivitol at every step and help put our needs at ease. The memorial was personable and meaningful with her direction and help. Our loved one was is such good care and we trusted that fully with her. Even after, she took time to tall and follow up to see how we were doing and if there was anything else she could do to serve!! Last month my mom unexpectedly passed away. Naturally the family was in shock and had to plan the funeral. A family member recommended Bean -Massey -Burge Funeral home and I'm glad they did. The staff was amazing and patient with us. They were compassionate and walked us through all options. Justin was our primary contact and he was Amazing. We were there for hours discussing the necessities, and not once did he rush us or try and push us in one direction. The staff was wonderful, professional and caring. The viewing went by perfectly, and again the staff was there ready to help if we needed anything. They took care of my mom. They made sure the flowers got where they needed to be. When they took us home they provided a Beautiful box containing the notes from the flowers, the guest booklet, thank you cards, grieving pamphlets, and much more. I have to say there is not one thing I would change about the service provided by the funeral home. Seriously it was just the biggest comfort knowing mom was being taken care of, and we didn't have to worry about anything.

Through my tremendous loss, Bean-Massey-Burge FH has made this process a bit easier. Every employee being very sympathetic and genuinely sorry for our loss. Erin (funeral director) was a God send. She was very prompt in answering any questions or concerns about anything (even on her weekend off). That is going above and beyond. There’s no doubt that they love what they do, it shows by their compassion.

I was out of state when Randall passed away and Bean-Massey-Burge Funeral Home made it very easy and comforting to make arrangements for my brother. They were professional, caring, and made sure I understand every possible option or services. They listened and understood my needs and concerns at a difficult time.

Bean Massey Burge Funeral Home in Grand Prairie TX handled my mother’s funeral and I was very pleased. It was a very nice service, in a beautiful atmosphere and I really appreciated the compassion and care of my mother, myself and my family by Melissa and Justin. Even weeks after my mother was laid to rest, Melissa kept in contact to check on my welfare with such compassion. Such care is truly appreciated at such a difficult time. I would also like to mention and thank Marlena at the front who was always kind and gracious and is a wonderful first point of contact when you walk in the door. My family has taken our loved ones to this excellent funeral home for as long as I can remember. I am 53 and I have memories going back to age 13 when we lost both of my great grandparents in one year. Then my grandparents, my uncle, my aunt. Most of my immediate family who passed away over the last 40 years, has been taken care of with compassion and efficiency by BMB.
My grandfather passed away in 2000. Prior to the digital technology that we have today that allows us to just pull stuff up and look at it on the Internet. His obituary was never posted online because at the time it just was not a thing. I lost all of my documents in a fire and a few months ago I needed a copy of his obituary.
I called, Marlena answered the phone.
I am disabled, and I am on a very, very tight budget, and I explained that those two things made it very hard to obtain a copy from the newspaper. She pulled the 20+ year old file, then sent a copy so quickly I was stunned speechless.
I would recommend to anybody to take their loved one BMB, not only do they take care of your loved one, they remain there for the living family members, long after the funeral process.

Words can’t thank you enough for what you did for me and I greatly apologize that it is took me this long to say thank you and post this. Funny thing, I needed the obituary for a legacy account related to his military service career. I completed it two days ago and realized that I had not posted a review. Thank you very much because without your help I would not have been able to establish that I was the granddaughter of a World War II veteran.

No one wants to be in a situation to have to plan a funeral. My husband passed away unexpectedly and now I had to plan his funeral. I called Bean Massey Burge on belt line and from the very start they were attentive to my needs. I initially spoke with Jennifer, then with Cindy. Both were very professional and sympathetic to my situation. They made sure I was taken care of in all the decisions I had to make and that I was happy with each decision. The viewing was just what I had imagined and I’m sure my husband would have been happy with it all. Cindy, Jennifer, Mike and the rest of the staff really made things run smoothly at such a difficult time. Even after my husband was laid to rest Cindy still calls to see how I’m doing.

Cindy was amazing. She was the funeral director for my mom’s services. She was so patient and kind to our family. Going through this process was never going to be a pleasant experience, but the funeral home was so professional and ensured everything went smoothly. The location is also well maintained and nicely decorated.

The funeral services for my mother were recently handled by the staff at Bean-Massey-Burge Funeral Home. Justin Patterson was our primary contact along with Marlena and Marsha. Everyone was very professional, showed great sympathy to me, my dad and the entire family. They handled all the details with great efficiency. This included picking my mom up from the hospital, getting her ready for the visitation at their location, transporting her to the service at Calvary Baptist Church and transporting her &her flowers to the cemetery. Everything was flawless. Assistance with the obituary and memory video were outstanding. I could not be more pleased and would highly recommend Bean-Massey-Burge for anyone dealing with this type of situation. They were able to make this process as pleasant as possible under this situation.
