Edit: I've been coming here every time I'm in town and I'm obsessed with the iced coffee with their homemade caramel syrup, as well as the avocado toast with egg. It's so good! I look forward to my trip to Beans every time I'm in Newark.

The lady, assuming the owner, who took our order and served us was incredibly friendly and sweet! She didn't rush us or our order which for someone who anxiety, was really nice. Speaking of, she also had such a calming presence. I got a dirty chai, sweetened with pumpkin spice. Both the masala and pumpkin spice syrup is made fresh in house. It was delicious! I also got an avocado, egg and cheese sandwich on multi-grain and it hit the spot. The orders do take some time because everything is freshly made by a single person, so come with enough time to wait for your order. Highly recommend Beans if you're in the area. Cannot speak highly enough for this cozy coffee shop! Extremely family friendly and a great morning stop while on Main Street. My kiddo can't get enough of their little peppermint steamers! We are definitely going to be regulars here!!

Absolutely love Beans! The food is so yummy with many vegan options as well. The coffee is delicious and sustainably sourced. And a great place to hang out inside and outdoors.

Love love love the pumpkin chai tea latte. My coworker and I go at least twice a week. They accidentally made coffee lattes once (simple miscommunication) and the manager was extremely apologetic and fixed them right away. Highly recommend them!

What a Jem on Newark Main Street, this great little local shop had Great fresh ground coffee.
Also had a delicious fresh sandwich with soup. Wonderful friendly/nice customer service. Will visit again.

They have great coffee and great tasting food! Bacon, egg, and cheese i would HIGHLY recommend! Great family owned and operated business! Give it a shot sometime!
