We had an amazing meal. I enjoyed and savored every bite I had. We started out with bone marrow & caviar, pork belly, and oysters. I'm not an oyster guy but both the marrow and pork belly were delightful. We went with a 45 day dry and bone in strip and it was cooked to perfection. It was very thick and all but the edges were perfectly medium rare and just the right hugh of pink/red. Each bite was an opportunity to savor how good that meat was. Then the banana dessert was heavenly. It was perfect. Prob the best steak I've ever had and a top 3 dessert. Very impressed and satisfied with my visit.

I chose Knife for a special dinner to celebrate my wife's birthday, and the experience was nothing short of amazing. From the ambiance to the food, every aspect of our evening was memorable.

The dining area at Knife perfectly encapsulates an energetic yet intimate atmosphere. The music, carefully selected and played at just the right volume, enhanced our dining experience without overpowering our conversation. This thoughtful balance contributed greatly to the pleasant and engaging environment.

Our server, Alberto, was a standout. His friendly demeanor, combined with his attentiveness and extensive knowledge about the steaks, significantly elevated our dining experience. His expertise in explaining the different cuts and preparations made choosing our meal both educational and enjoyable.

For our main course, my wife and I each indulged in the 6oz petite filet, which was cooked to perfection. The John’s Mac and Cheese and roasted carrots were our chosen sides, and they complemented the steaks beautifully. The mac and cheese was creamy and comforting, while the carrots added a lovely roasted flavor to the meal.

The highlight of the evening was the birthday dessert, a beautifully crafted white sponge cake soaked in blueberry, with a middle layer of passion fruit panna cotta and a top of vanilla custard. This dessert was not just a treat for the taste buds but also a work of art. It was incredibly delicious, and I was lucky enough to share it with my wife.

In summary, Knife provided an exceptional dining experience. The combination of a great atmosphere, knowledgeable and friendly staff, exquisitely prepared food, and a standout birthday dessert made our celebration truly special. Knife is more than just a restaurant; it’s a place where special moments are made even more memorable. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to celebrate an occasion or simply enjoy a fantastic meal.

An absolutely phenomenal experience. We came here as a treat on our honeymoon and it was such an incredible time. Our server Michael was an absolute gem, he was super knowledgeable about the restaurant and food and he was super fun to banter with. Would HIGHLY recommend the bacon flight. I’m a huge bacon fan and this was not what I was expecting in the best way possible, you could really taste the difference between the types of bacon. The bacon jam was absolutely delicious and paired wonderfully with the sourdough bread. My husband and I got the 240 day and 75 day dry aged steaks…. Astonishing. The 240 day aged steak is decadent and in our wonderful servers words “funky”; an absolute delight! We got the Pomme purée and the Mac and cheese, potatoes were phenomenal and the Mac and cheese was good but a little on the spicier side for me. We finished with a white chocolate raspberry and chocolate and coffee dessert, both were absolutely delicious and the there was something nostalgic about the raspberry sorbet. All in all, the staff were absolutely wonderful; our server Michael was the best, and all the other staff really enhanced that experience. Our table was always cleaned off, our waters were always topped off and people were always there if we needed them. George and the wine guy (I didn’t catch his name) both came to check and make sure everything was to our liking. The next time we visit Dallas we will be sure to make Knife a stop on our books!

Visiting Dallas for the first time, I was recommended Knife as one of the best steakhouses in the city. They did not disappoint! Known for their dry-aged cuts, our waiter Jarret (who was the best, by the way) suggested the 120 day aged 44 farms Ribeye. It was absolutely perfect for my boyfriend and myself, marking one of the best meals of our trip. Beautiful restaurant, incredible food, and the most tentative and knowledgeable staff, a definite must if you're in Dallas!

On a recommendation from a cattle rancher, we decided to go here for our team dinner. I've never had dry aged steak before, and it was beyond outstanding. We had the 45 day dry aged steak and every bite was incredible. We also enjoyed the spinach and shallots, the baby carrots, and the avocado fries. Our table over ordered a little on sides, but each was a delightful addition. I think I am spoiled for life on those steaks! The staff were accommodating and delightful as well. We felt valued and well cared for.

Excellent service, food and ambiance marks this restaurant inside Hilton hotel.Mary was an excellent host. Restaurant showcases the curing process of the steaks through a window by the entrance. Brioche French toast was the fluffiest and the most tasty I had eaten in some time.Steak was juicy and has perfect seasoning.👍👍

I came here with my aunt and we had a fantastic experience. Everything was wonderful and amazing. They did over salt my first steak, but were very quick to fix it and had a new steak out right away that was perfect! The desserts were definitely the best part aside from the wonder server we had that evening.

They make the BEST ranch I have ever tasted in my life. The steak was cooked to perfection.
It’s a very small quaint place, laid back, don’t need to dress up. The cauliflower had a hint of lime & it made it extra good.

We came here for my brother’s birthday. The atmosphere was really nice and enjoyable. My brother wanted to eat 90 day aged steak. He seems to love it. I got a burger which was good but too much cheese. The food was good but the highlight of our dinner was dessert! OMG! The dessert was phenomenal! I would totally come back here for dessert. I ordered key lime pie and it was sour, just the way I like it! You can’t have a taste of key lime pie without making that sour face! It was that good! The chocolate coffee was one of the best. I totally forgot to take picture of desserts because we devoured them so quickly. Absolutely wonderful experience with dessert. Overall, it was an amazing place and I would totally come back just for dessert.

PLEASE ask for Ryan for your service. He deserves to be in a Michelin restaurant, he is beyond amazing.

PLEASE ask if Sid is at the kitchen and cooking your steak. His personality is just as good as his steaks.

This restaurant deserves a 12/10 for service, attention, and food.

I wish I could take Ryan and Sid back home to Miami.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Knife in Dallas, TX, and I must say, it was an extraordinary experience from start to finish. The charcuterie board they served was a work of art, showcasing an array of delectable cured meats, artisanal cheeses, honey combs, and perfectly paired accompaniments. Truly, the hospitality here has been above and beyond. As a hospitality leader, and business traveler I often find myself disappointed in restaurants over the past few years because many establishments have lost the art of service.. Not the team at The Knife! Every touch point was thoughtful, each interaction was meaningful and the culinary team remembered I committed to coming back to dine a second night and actually made a point to engage with me when I did return. DO NOT miss this gem when staying near SMU! It’s not your average hotel restaurant ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Cheers Chef and team!

The burger was on an English muffin. Amazingly, it's the perfect size. I got the burger cooked medium, and it was delicious and juicy.
The bacon was cooked just crispy 😋.
I wish the tomato had been cut thicker, but that's my preference.
Omg the salsa Verde fries were absolutely perfect, no ketchup needed!

Met my cousin for breakfast and really enjoyed my experience here. It's so much to do/eat in Dallas & had he not been visiting town I probably would've never knew this place existed bc this isn't an area I frequent. This was the best French Toast I've ever had & I don't say that lightly!!! I've never had it prepared like this. And the Chicken Apple Sausage was so good too! 😋😋 My cousin didn't even want his food once he sampled mine. Hahaha! He got Steak & Eggs... so boring. Lololol!!! Even when I ate the leftovers the next day it was still so good!

I came to Knife for a romantic date and celebration and the service and food were all top notch. Our bill for two, with tips, was over $400, but we didn't order the cheapest items, so come prepared!

We arrived a little early and had cocktails at the bar, the Highlander was exceptional! When our table was ready the maitre d personally came to the bar to inform us.

At the table, our waiter, Michael, was incredibly knowledgeable and welcoming. He had a wealth of knowledge about the menu and the things that set Knife apart from other steak houses. Since we were celebrating he greeted us with champagne, and he also knew about our dietary restrictions (gluten) from the reservation.

We had the bacon tasting and steak tartare in the style of 21, and our waiter knew the backstory on both! We then ordered the salsa Verde fries, green beans, and 90 day aged akaushi ribeye. For dessert we had their fall themed Crème brûlée, and it tasted like pine trees and apple pies baking in the oven, in the absolute best way. The meal was definitely more than enough for two, and they boxed up the leftovers for us away from the table.

I highly recommend Knife for a date night or celebration. It is an exceptional restaurant with several one of a kind steaks and menu items! We will definitely be back and are already planning to go back around Christmas to try their other unique desserts!

Let me start out by saying there is nothing I can say that will do Knife justice. One of the best steakhouses in Texas known for their dry aged steaks. They recently achieved a Michelin Star. Led and owned by well known chef, John Tesar, from Top Chef. This is one of the best meals I have had in such a long time. Let me start with the service: Jarrett was the best, he took his time to explain the dishes and helped us make our food decisions. Ruben was the best taking care of us. You will start your meal with a a palette cleanser of fresh veggies and dip. It’s a nice little treat to get the meal going. Our table had a variety of starters: Caesar Salad, Arugula Salad, A Bacon Tasting Board and Tuna Tartare. Ok let me say - you must try the bacon tasting board, so delicious and make sure you try the bacon jam. The tuna tartare comes with a side of naan. Consensus from the table …. Best steak we have ever had. The lamb was also delicious and cooked to perfection (tip the lamb is cooked so precisely that it will take 45 min plus). The sides complimented our meal perfectly with the Mac and Cheese being our favorite. Just when we thought we were done dessert proved us wrong. The S’mores crème Brûlée was unique and so tasty, perfect blend of a traditional Creme Brûlée and a s’more. You get one last little treat of a mint, cookie and a jelly candy. They have a great drinks menu with a nice wine list. All the little details, the delicious food and drink, great service and great atmosphere is sure to make this a great meal for you too.

Our waiter was so nice and knowledgeable on all of the menu items. We had the dry aged steak, Mac n cheese, tuna, a few cocktails, and the white chocolate and key lime desserts. I’d come back!

Listen, THIS WAS THE GREATEST FOOD I’VE EVER HAD! I’ve been around to many amazing restaurants throughout Dallas, & the food here bypasses them ALL without a doubt, from the appetizer to the desserts everything was a magnificent 10! Steak was cooked PERFECT! Avocado fries immaculate! Mashed potatoes unlike any mashed potatoes I’ve ever had !!! My favorite restaurant from now on without a doubt ! Thank y’all!

Stop what you’re doing and make a dinner reservation at Knife if you haven’t been. I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. My husband and I have been more than a few times and it never disappoints. The Garganelli & Black Truffle Essence pasta is the best pasta dish in Dallas IMO. The cocktails and wine line are impeccable, the service is always spot on and their steaks are to die for. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. You really can’t go wrong with anything you order.
