Working on a grand jury right now and the experience is worth the inconvenience. The Dallas County DA's office are fantastic folks.
I have renewed confidence in the Dallas County Justice system.

Easy for what it is

The judge and legal teams were trying to provide a fair trial with the jury questioning. However, we were waiting outside Criminal Court with very little update on what was going on. Make sure to go to the restroom before as you may have to wait there indefinitely and not miss your name being called. The wheels of justice roll on slowly...

When is the journal exit for this month. Do I show up even if I was scheduled on another date.

Can't get a real person on the phone. Keep getting message "our office is open but no one is available". Dallas Country Jury keeps sending jury summons to my son who moved out of state in 2009. We have filled out form stating he no longer lives in Texas but they keep sending a summons. Tried one more time and got a clerk who updated my son's record that he does not live in TX.

As if jury duty wasn’t miserable enough, the old lady at the metal detector makes sure you start your morning in a bad way. I don’t care if you have a safe, government job. Treat people the way they should be treated! I gave it one extra star only because the checkin lady was a sweetheart

Of course, like everyone else I'm not fond of jury duty, but besides that.... the turn to get to the entrance to the parking garage is not marked so I missed it. There was not adequate signage explaining the location of the sky bridge, but I knew that there must be one so I followed the attorneys. I'm not sure what it was about the jury room, the fluorescent lighting, or off gassing of chemical contaminates, but I ended up with a migraine level headache that lasted the rest of the day.

They should do a better job of sending their post cards with the correct information on them.

This is what happens when you hire a bunch of lazy people with a don't care attitude. Dallas is the worst. Unfriendly and unhelpful staff who act like you're an annoying customer when you're simply trying to report for a required service. If you're this unhappy at work find a new job and stop treating people doing their civic duties like annoying children.

Never got an email for my
jury duty, when i went to call MULTIPLE TIMES no one answered. Don’t know when my jury duty is and if it passed i’m going to be upset if I get charged because no one at this damn building can communicate with people
