River Walk

Delaware has an abundance of beautiful parks and gardens,but the riverfront is my most favorite place to be. I go there everyday. Sometimes just to sit and look at people walk by,look at the beauty of the surroundings and walk. It's refreshing and a safe place.

Absolutely amazing place!!! They got everything you need. The Riverwalk is an excellent place to exercise, grab a meal, get a view of Downtown Wilmington, and get awesome sunset and seneic views!!

Lots of history to read about along the way, so make sure you take your time and read some of the informative displays that are posted along the Riverwalk. Even has a few of the old cranes that were used to load and unload ships.

I did several miles today and didn't even realize it due to all that there is to see. As always, I recommend this for the entire family for a day of fun and adventure. I recommend this for couples who would like some time alone. I also recommend this for those who have fur babies and want to exercise them as well!!

Fabulous place to have an easy night walk. The place is well lit so it feels quite safe. There are ample benches to sit and watch the river as well. There are quite a few restaurants. All of them have an outdoor sitting area.

The Wilmington River Walk is a great place for a walk, to hang out, or to hit a resturant/bar. At least 6 resturant choices and 3 hotels(Hyatt Place, Homewood Suites, and Westin). Frawley Stadium, home to the Delaware Blue Rocks baseball team, is also located in this area. The shipyard that used to be on the waterfront, built landing craft (LSTs) for the Navy during WWII. The large cranes still exist at the site. Overall, a great place to visit.

If you like going for a long walk on board walking on board then this is a definite place to visit. The board is very well maintained. The river seems to be 'Delaware River'. Along along the board walk you will find hotels, restaurants, PENN cinemas is 1 street away from the board walk. You can find it while ur walking on board. You can go early in morning or evening if the temperatures are ok. For rest rooms you will have to use the ones in restaurants, hotels beside the board. The board walk is very well maintained. You can also take a ride on bike.

Awesome place for families or Adults looking for a cool place to hang out and drink a few beers. We saw people walking dogs, reading books, and hanging out with their kids. Lots of security present so it had a nice safe feel!

The fireworks were mesmerizing. In July there were the fireworks, we got lucky to see the closure view. The fireworks took about 20 minutes. It was beautiful from Start to end and the ending was very amazing.

I love the riverwalk it is the only great thing about where I live, even if I'm on my way somewhere I usually stop along the water to sit and enjoy the view and clear my mind and my son and I enjoy walking to the nature reserve and walking our jack Russell

5 stars for Clean areas. One ⭐ star for the murky dirty water. If should be healthier looking. What we MUST REMEMBER THIS IS A LANDMARK FROM OPRESSION TO LIBERATION. DIGNITY OF THE BREATH OF LIFE BELONGS TO ALL.

All of the new hotels and restaurants have really transformed the Wilmington Riverwalk and they have done an excellent job decorating with lights for Christmas — lots of families enjoying a stroll.

Sunday Afternoon? In Wilmington? Want something to do? Great! Head on over. Walk around. Watch the Christina River flow past. Enjoy the sun as it goes down.

Parking will be a little way off. It's metered. Add as much as you can and remember the time it afforded you. Let's not get ticketed!

I loved it! I constantly found things to do here. Rather it is from the beer constitution yard, or the dupont environmental center. There are never ending sometimes unknown adventures at the river front in wilmington.

If you are visiting Wilmington this is one of the places you should absolutely go to. The Walk itself is a few miles along the river. You can spot a lot of nice restaurants along the route.

Such a beautiful place with a great assortment of restaurants.

It's a very nice addition to the great city of Wilmington, Delaware. The cleanup of the river restores the natural beauty of life that's always been in place. Perfect for a walk after dinner and it also adds to family fun since the Delaware Children's Museum is there as well.

Fantastic place for a summer evening stroll. Not too crowded. Great restaurants. Must visit. Highly recommend.

A beautiful walk even in wintry weather. We walked all the way to the Du Pont visitor centre.

Boardwalk is clean and well maintained for both walks and cycles. A great spot to enjoy sunsets
