Alamo Drafthouse Cinema Cedars

I’ve been to this Alamo Drafthouse a few times. It’s always a great experience. I went and saw the movie “The Claw” It’s really such a cool concept to be able to go to your seats and then be waited on. I always get the Parmesan and truffle popcorn. The warm pretzel with beer cheese is really good too. It’s a very cool concept for a movie theatre and definitely worth the little bit more you pay for the ambience and experience.

This experience was awesome, we went for an event and the staff was professional and prompt. We had cocktails and the bartenders were great! We spent some time in the patio.

Just by down town the view is amazing all around .. perfect for ur date. 😀 love the location an great service . Food as always new location yet always at my expectations.🤌👍

Convenient parking, great location. Comfortable chairs (although we weren't sure if they decline?) We didn't order from the menu, however, the menu looks extensive and had some great vegetarian options, which is a plus. Friendly , helpful staff.

I was a little nervous going to this cinema because English isn't my first language but we had a lovely experience!! My best friend wanted to visit this place since it means a lot to him as a filmmaker! And our experience was incredible! The staff were really nice!! I had issues using my card at one of the machines and one of the staff members was super sweet and kind while helping us get tickets! We watched Bottoms and honestly, it was by far one of the best films I've watched this year!! The service at the cinema room itself was wonderful, the woman serving us was also very kind and sweet! I highly recommend visiting this theater and I would definitely come back if I ever go back to Dallas!!!

Update: First time coming back post covid and I was not disappointed! How can this locations still feel the same but even better? I came for "Halloween Kills" and they took the time to decorate and halloween up the place, and it really adds to the atmosphere. One of the things that has changed is the menu which is so sad (stupid covid), since I was obsessed with the bee's kiss honeycomb alcoholic shake (literally see review below hahaha) buy I had an AMAZING server (she had darker hair in a ponytail at vetted wells and she was training a taller blonde). I told her about the drink, immediately she knew what I was talking about and even though there were no honeycombs, she did what she could and made an updated version just for little ol' me. Put that on the menu! The seats still do not fully recline, but the back does still let back and if you are on the front row, they fully recline.

I am so impressed with this location, the customer service is always amazing. From the two girls at the front desk, to the servers in the theater, to the GM (Karen). She happened to be upstairs when we were leaving and she showed us to our seats. I love a team that works together and are passionate about customers and their job, so we will for sure be back.

Lastly, if you have never been to the Alamo Drafthouse, some early! There are a ton of videos and shorts that are shown that relate to the movie and its themes. You can enter 30 mins before the showtime and have time to relax and order before anyone else comes in. Great date night idea too

This place is always my go to for movies. Front row seats recline, and service is top notch. The pizza is so good, and their popcorn is so good and is way better than any move theatre popcorn I've had anywhere else.

I came across the Alamo as I was looking for a Proposal Location. They have an amazing Patio with Downtown Dallas views in the background. The Staff was Great. Very Helpful. They were able to supply me with Champagne. I couldn’t have asked for a better night! Thank you so much, we will never forget this night!

I would give 6 stars if I could!! The perfect movie-going experience.

Wait staff was friendly and quick. They do a great job avoiding distracting from the movie. Had a popcorn, which was huge but unlimited. Absolutely the best popcorn I’ve ever had! The real butter takes the win here.

I love this location in particular. The seats and the seclusion you feel between all the other seats is better than some others.

I love how vintage but also modern this place feels. Lots of fun instagram or photo ops for movie enthusiasts. There’s a full bar and restaurant upstairs. Patio deck also with cool views. But you can also just go straight to your theatre and order from your seat. Quality audio and visuals in theatre rooms also.

This location is fabulous ! ...The seating is so comfy but the getting in and out takes some skill. Their Richardson location will always be special but this one here with the patio views and roll up windows, old time elevator is just awesome ! ...I love the wide open feeling it gives. I was there for the Mother's Day Breakfast at Tiffany's and I enjoyed myself. Thank you so very much to Champ, Soldier, the kitchen staff and servers, even the ticket staff. They made all of us feel at home or better and our 4 course meal was amazing !

Bought tickets to see the Barbie movie for my daughter's birthday in July. A family tragedy happened the day before so we weren't able to use them. I called the theater for a refund, but took a raincheck instead. When we arrived a few weeks ago, they kept their word and we were able to enjoy a great movie. The food could've been better though (it typically is, that's why it's our favorite theater).

Fun place to relax, see a movie, and indulge in well prepared food & drinks. They are in the process of upgrading their seating, which will make the experience even more comfortable!

Lots of local taps for sampling a lot of the regional brews. And the pretzel was pretty good too!

This is our regular movie place for my husband and I. We love it here bc the service here is flawless. The process of getting tickets are as easy as 1,2,3. The rooftop bar is such a great place to hang before your movie starts or when your movie ends. Bartender can make you any drink as long as they have all the components for it. The actual building, furniture, theatre, etc., is always immaculate. The food tastes great and comes out on time. The servers are always nice and never get anything wrong. Ordering food and drinks before, and during the movie is always a breeze. The only thing we havent tried yet is the karaoke rooms up top. Best part that sets them at the top are the cinematic selections they choose to show here. They show great old time classics and themed movies for certain holidays as well.

My wife and I stopped by for the latest Star Wars movie. It was great to be able to reserve our seats online. We arrived a bit early and could get seated and order our food and drinks before the movie started. Super comfortable seats. Good service

Went during the middle of the day so the theater wasn't full, which made watching the movie much better. Ordered a hamburger and the chocolate chip milk shake. Both were really good, but the shake came out early, so it was gone by the time my burger came out. The seats were good, but mine didn't recline so that was the only blemish on an otherwise great experience.

We had a small event here, and the staff was great. Food was good, and even though there was some miscommunication ahead of time, we figured everything out a few hours ahead of time and the manager called me personally to make sure everything was right.

I rented one of the theaters and reserved the upstairs rooftop area for my surprise proposal to my now fiance...and the staff was amazing! Ashley was a huge help in sales and the manager Katy was so patient with me throughout the process, because I asked a lot of questions! The guy who worked my event was Ronny and he called a few days before just to finalize everything and the outcome was amazing. They exceeded my expacatations and everything went so smoothly. I would highly recommend this staff and this property to anyone who is looking to do a private event in the Dallas area.
