Marriott Dallas Uptown

Great time staying at this hotel. We came for the weekend. Rooms are very nice, clean, and modern. The hotel lobby is very relaxing and the restaurant serves great food. Side note - beds are very comfy. I'll definitely be staying here if I visit again.

It was a fun stay! I love the discretion of the staff. My wife said I needed to cut down on my drinking. When I got here, I called up my local girlfriend and we ate at the this awesome little Italian place. We went back to the hotel. After I ubered her home, I was still hungry and sat at the bar and had a fine selection of some of the craft beers. I also door dashed a pizza. The bartender was a nice lady. All in all it was a great night!

First I have to say the inside of this hotel is beautiful, the rooms modern and very cozy. I love the wooden flooring and jazzy couch in my room. It was well cleaned and I like that they took time to sanitize the remote between stays which is not always seen at Marriott. But my hats off to the front desk lady April Boyd for her overwhelming great customer service. I was a few hours early but had a meeting at 1:30 so I asked about a conference room she gave me early check-in so I made my meeting and her service since has been all about the customer experience which is not always the case. She was so friendly, inviting and helpful. 5 stars for her service. Another person that deserves credit it Kathy and Tierra in the M Lounge for her 5 star service. I don't eat pork and she took time to have this wonderful chicken sausage made, she catered and made sure everyone in the M lounge taken care of.. the Pride this lady took in her job was also amazing. The hotel is beautiful, the customer service was amazing. The people that work here for me seemed very pleasant and happy which enhanced my stay.

The Marriott in uptown Dallas is an absolute gym. The M lounge in the lobby is amazing. The staff is incredibly friendly. The food and drinks are incredible in the lobby bar. If you’re looking for a luxury property in downtown Dallas, this is an absolute mess do not do not do not stay at the JW Marriott in Art district.

Great location, walking distance to all the fun in downtown Dallas! Service was great and enjoyed being able to grab Starbucks at the facility. My room was cozy and Marriott always has the best beds. Cannot wait to stay again in this modern oasis right in downtown

We arrived at the Marriott Dallas Uptown Saturday early afternoon . My wife and I headed to the American Airlines Arena to watch our first NHL game. It was awesome. We headed back to the Marriott Dallas Uptown after the hockey game. We sat down in the bar area to enjoy a glass of wine and some snacks. This is when we met Gideon . This young man has a bright future in front of him. He never let our wine glasses go dry and he never let our appetizers run out. He always had a friendly smile and an answer for our needs. He was truly fantastic. Then , the next day , we encountered an issue with the tv. It was some kind of system glitch. We called the front desk and they stated there was a systems issue that interfered with the television . They sent another young man by the name of Tyjon who reset the television and he was as kind and helpful as Gideon. With these two guys on staff I am sure the Marriott Dallas Uptown will continue to keep making their customers happy for a long time.

Cannot say enough about the staff in the lounge… two lovely women whose name I can’t remember. Also appreciate everybody in the Valet including Andres and Jordan. Also appreciated everybody at the front desk, and that you offered Thanksgiving dinner for those of us working. The rooms were spotless. House cleaning was immaculate.

My review is specifically for those individuals looking to block rooms for an upcoming wedding or event for out-of-town and/or local guests. Alexa Greenwood, in the Sales Department is the person you want to speak to. I live in Illinois and my daughter got married in Dallas a week ago, I had the sheer pleasure of working with Alexa for months. She not only was the most professional young lady, she was so delightful, friendly, and extremely responsive. She kept me abreast of our blocked reservations and if I needed to add rooms along the way, she accommodated me immediately at the block rate. I had gift bags for each guest that the front desk were responsible for handing out but she took it upon herself to make sure each guest did receive them. I spoke to her so many times, she actually memorized my cell number! Upon finally meeting her in person, it was like meeting up with an old friend. I honestly recommend speaking with Alexa for any of your upcoming needs! Thank you again, Alexa. You ROCK (as my daughter would say)!

The gentleman working the valet early Sunday morning between 2:30 to 5am, Nate, was so courteous and professional!! My sis is a Marriott Ambassador and people like Nate are the reason we keep choosing Marriott. Kudos to whoever hired Nate and thanks Nate for being so great!

I am very pleased with the Marriott Dallas Uptown, and it has me rethinking my favorite hotels thanks to this stay. (My plane from Seattle was delayed by four hours and I didn’t get in until 2:30 AM) I contacted them to let them know I’d be late and I spoke with Robin who assured me everything would be fine. After three hours on the runway in Austin, I followed up to make sure the hotel knew I would be coming. Robin said she would be there waiting for me when I arrived, and she was at the front door. (Because at 2:30am the doors are presumably locked) Unbelievable. She was very kind, she provided me with much needed coke water and got me right into my room. And the room is beautiful, all new, great shower, comfy bed and smart TV. I am very pleased with every aspect of this hotel. Yes, it’s a green hotel, and until there’s motion in the room, the air conditioning does not turn on, but that said it was 90° when I got here late last night And the room cooled down to 65 very quickly. The air conditioning does NOT shut off overnight so it will keep you cool if you know how thermostats work. Everything, soup to nuts is excellent. The food from the restaurant is fresh and delicious. From the front door to the restaurant, to the Starbucks. This is a five star hotel that I would give 10 stars to if I could. Very happy that our convention was hosted here at this hotel. Marriott treats their guests like family and seems to have gone over and above to please its guests, and the companies that are here for radios morning show Boot Camp! The staff is great and management knows how to treat their customers. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

was here for a work trip and my room was neat and tidy upon arrival. Staff is friendly and courteous and the interior is charming!

We had a work event here and this is the nicest Marriott I've been to; a level above the rest. Newer location but still feels like it just opened. The young man (Nate) working the front desk did an amazing job welcoming me and set the expectations high to which this location did not disappoint. Close to some very nice areas like Katy trail and clean! The gym and equipment still looks brand new. Evening bartenders were awesome and more than accommodating for our group, even when they probably shouldn't have been. Pool deck was perfect, food was incredible. Fantastic stay and I hope we come back when we're in Dallas again.

Nice hotel, comfortable rooms. Marriott club breakfast was nice. Close enough to DAL airport to be convenient.

Great valet service! Hats off to Marcelino, Sal, Andreas, Darius, and Terrance were all attentive and great to work with.

Everything seemed new and fresh. Room was spotless. Super helpful staff went above and beyond in taking by care of us. Great neighborhood.

Excellent service, rooms, and perfect location. Just beside the KATY trail and one short Uber ride away from almost anywhere in the city and white rock lake

My bride and I enjoy an occasional night away in Dallas, this is our go-to hotel. The roof top pool is great, but get there early if you want a lounger on the weekends. The staff is outstanding and the rooms are really nice, especially if you score a suite right on the pool level (5th floor). You are within a short walk of several great restaurants, I highly suggest Ocean Prime, avoid Nick and Sams if a loud/crowded place isn't to your liking. Also plenty of other spots to hit depending on your tastes. If it's nice out a walk in this part of town is really fun, especially in Dallas winter as it's never that cold and a brisk walk makes an evening after a big meal.

Loved our stay here! The housekeeping made our beds everyday and replenished our towels. The valet attendant were quick and attentive. The pool area was nice, ot rained so we didn't get to enjoy the pool but we did get enjoy the bar. The bar is in the lobby and the bartender was super personable and she gave us recommendations on placed to go. They also extended my check out time by an hour for free. The area felt safe and was close to a lot of great restaurants.

I highly recommend the Marriott Uptown Dallas. We were greeted immediately by the valet. He was so helpful getting our luggage out the car. The front desk personnel were warm and welcoming during the check-in process, they even accommodated my request for a high floor room. The room was clean, the beds were comfy too. We went down to the pool the bartenders were attentive. Ms Amy in the Starbucks has the absolute best personality ever. We will definitely make this hotel our go to place when we visit Dallas
