What a wonderful little cafe! Came here because I thought the name was really cute. Goats are my favorite animal. I expected decent coffee and a comfy atmosphere but this is the best cold brew I've ever had! The inside is small but it's very cozy and welcoming. The handle on the door is part of a skateboard or longboard. I think that's really neat! I'm not in this area too often but I'll be certain to stop by again if I ever am!

I found Little Goat online and decided to order some coffee for a corporate gift for our Senior Leadership Team. I saw they only offered PayPal which my company doesn't use, so I gave them a call and they were more than happy and willing to send us an invoice! They were lovely and helpful and the coffee smells DIVINE!! Highly recommend! Thanks, Little Goat!

The coffee here is great. They clearly work hard to roast and brew good quality cups of coffee. A coffee connoisseur would be happy here. I just ordered a medium coffee which came with 2 options, Ethiopian or Papua New Guinea. If you are staying in house there, you get a mug and a refill. The coffee flavor was pure, subtle, but distinct notes of sweetness. And 2 dollars for a cup of coffee is extremely cheap in our day & age.

As for the atmosphere. It is a super small space. For working indoors or talking with somebody, it was not conductive for that kind of thing. It was busy and loud. They have an outdoor deck but it wasn't open because of the winter months. Mostly college students came to hang out here.

I've been going to Little Goat since we moved to the area two years ago. They've been consistently awesome every single time. The vibe is great, great music, staff is always pleasant, fast, and knowledgeable. Definitely the best local coffee shop in the area. I personally would argue that they are the best coffee in Newark hands down, but I know how people feel about their Starbucks and Dunkin'. Either way, definitely worth checking them out.

Stopped in to grab some coffee while walking Main Street. The place is a roastery and coffee shop in one. The day we were there they didn't have any food but it looks like they normally carry some pastries. The staff were very friendly. We ordered the Lil Coco Loco which was excellent. There were a lot of customers that stopped in while we were there which is always a good sign. We will definitely be back.

Note: There is limited free parking behind the shop that is limited to 1 hour. Just take the driveway next to the shop.

Great place to grab a latte. They had house made syrups and seasonal lattes. Great to grab a drink with a friend.

One of my favorite haunts in town. Cozy, friendly, great music, wonderful baristas, and amazing coffee. It always smells good here, especially when the beans are roasting!! You can't go wrong with the regular drip coffee, or the espresso-based drinks. Prices are great, and the staff always makes an effort to give you a good experience. It's clear everyone enjoys working there. If you're socially anxious or struggle with making in-person orders, they're always very helpful and understanding, and will sometimes give you suggestions about their favorite way to enjoy a drink. All of the non-dairy milks are currently of no extra charge, which I am sooo thankful for as a lactose-intolerant person.
If you're a Starbucks regular, come give Little Goat's brews a try. You won't regret it (and you might save a bit too).
Also, if they have a specialty drink on the board for the day (and you're an adventurous type), it's always worth to try, no matter how crazy it sounds. They really do a great job balancing flavors to make some memorable stuff. (Root beer latte I miss you...)
My current faves are the Peru drip, and the Matcha latte with some Vanilla flavoring. The Winter Warmer is delicious as well, though it'll be gone soon with the turn of the season!

Little Goat is the GOAT best coffee shop in Newark. Come in for the coffee and stay for the vibes. Wednesdays thru the weekend they have the most amazing pastries by Peaches Eatery. We get our whole beans from this local roaster too.
Shop local, stay golden.

Best coffee shop you'll find for 60 miles around and my go to spot all throughout college. The beans are the freshest possible (Roasting happens nearly daily!) and no one can hold a candle to the espresso shots the baristas pull. The staff is always warm and welcoming and the atmosphere of the cafe is perfect.

Their whole milk cappuccino is great (the quality espresso makes it something special) and if it's hot out, an iced latte or their special little coco loco hits the spot. There's lots to love for non coffee drinkers as well with hot tea, chai lattes, matcha, and sometimes cold fizzy things available as well. Plus, the baristas are often happy to attempt something that isn't on the menu if they have the ingredients for it. Hands down the best!

Really enjoyed finding this cozy coffee shop where the decor just invites you to slow down and visit for a bit. The service was exceptional and the coffee was great but the star for me was the hot chai served in a mug. Just perfect!

Best coffee shop in Newark! The Ethiopian I had was excellent. Starbucks pales in comparison to this cafe. Not a ton of seating indoors but still a nice place to hang out. The roast their own coffee right in the store which is a huge plus to getting fresh coffees.

A must-visit cafe in the Newark area. Trendy atmosphere with great beverages to top it off. The syrups made in-house are hard to beat. Good coffee also doesn't stop inside the cafe where many seem to forget the 'roasting' part in the name. Highly recommend picking up a bag of their Ethiopian beans, it's worth the price.

I was going to Starbucks, and saw here and changed my mind about my stop. Definitely much better than Starbucks. Worth to try,

Okay not going to lie, I was expecting to pay a bit extra coming here for coffee but I was absolutely SURPRISED and happy that I paid under $4 for a large DELICIOUS cup of coffee!!! This is by far the best coffee I’ve had in a long time!!! I had to share because I’m not one to post reviews but maybe someone like myself doesn’t wanna battle the Wawa parking lot or the long lines at Dunkin’ for their morning coffee. they were pleasant and loved the quiet quaint atmosphere, although they had quite a few customers it still had that vibe! This place is a place to go n relax with a friend or two just to unwind for a few over coffee!!! Highly recommend and will be returning.

One of the best places for espresso and coffee! Also a great variety of baked goods and other hot and cold drinks.

I live in Philly. My neighbor brought back some of the whole bean coffee from Little Goat. Everytime he went to Delaware I asked him to grab me a bag of beans from here. He got tired of stopping for it. I got mad disappointed. I went online to their site. They ship direct. My face lit up. I ordered the Nucuragua. The mail smelled like a winning lotto ticket. My mornings have been solid. Never been here, only had the beans. I bet it's even better in person.

Awesome college vibe coffee shop with rustic looks. Friendly staff and most importantly the baristas and coffee roasters know what they are doing. And coffee here is fabulous.

We found this place just passing through, and it did not disappoint! Excellent coffee - must try the cortado and cold brew 👌🏼 smiling faces and cool vibe inside. Loved it and will definitely visit again when we’re in the area.

By far my favorite coffee shop in Delaware- heck, all of the east coast!! Little Goat has high quality coffee that is roasted in-house, addicting speciality drinks, and one of a kind teas. The environment is cozy enough for a winter morning, or chill enough for a summer afternoon. On Saturdays, they have delicious “bites” like muffins and homemade savory tarts. The owners and staff are super friendly and they allow dogs! If you have not been here, you’re seriously missing out!!
