Arlington Public Library - Southeast Branch

I come here for the free Wi-Fi, stay because public libraries are the backbone of society. I have really bad ADHD so public study areas that are not my college campus 20 miles away are very beneficial. I saw a really neat event for black history month and went happy I got outside :)

Very organized and clean. Quiet place to go for reading. There is a children reading section where they can read ,do their homework. Kids have access to computer for educational game and other. People do require library card to checkout books.

We like this library so much. The kids section is in a smaller room off to the right of the entrance. It only has one entrance/exit which is super helpful for parents with active kids on the go! My 3 year old likes to run around picking out books. They even have a self-checkout station in the kid’s area and 3 self-checkout stations right outside of the kids area. The staff are nice and very kind and helpful. Visit this library!

My mother-in-law uses a Quantum Edge power wheelchair to get around. This library has excellent accessibility.

Of all the libraries I've ever visited, or held a membership to , this is my favorite. I don't doubt that there are many others that can boast of newer tech, etc. , but this particular library is right next door to the best dog park and animal shelter around. There is also access to some very nice concrete paved trails for walking, jogging or biking. How and if you choose to explore these assets depends on your whim.

Been going to this place since I was a little kid so it’s got some sentimental attachment
. It’s genuinely one of the few library’s where I can focus, and it’s actually quiet ! Other library’s are pretty loud and don’t respect the noise level.

Also nice that the front desk acknowledges you and the service is always kind. Very grateful for a place like this as a college student.

My mom took me here and otjad so many books I loved it

Great selection of books, great little space for kids, super helpful staff. A fantastic library, can't go wrong.

Picked up book I had wanted but was out. Received text or email that it was in. Michelle Obama 's new book Becoming. Always a great experience at this library over the past years since this location opened near my home. I was do excited when I heard this southeast branch was being built. So convenient. The employees are always very helpful, courteous and professional

Best library in Arlington! They have a childrens room thats separate from the adult library which is a huge bonus. My kids have to be dragged out... 🤣 they would stay all day.
We love all the staff but especially Ms. Marla Boswell. She's truly a gem!

Organised, clean, quiet, and have a lot of varieties and activities. It also uses the self check for the books using the most technology used

I love this library. They get books for me fast even from other locations.

The workers are really nice and respectful, they have a wide variety of books and if they don't have an item they can order the book from that location and you can pick it up within a couple days.

The folks that work at this location are great.
Everytime I go in they are very helpful, very polite. I'm kinda a ww2 buff. The young lady remembered me and she will recommend books. Extremely helpful.

People were friendly and very efficient when you needed help, everything was easy to find and there were even kiosks ready if you didnt want to ask someone where something was.

I love this library. The librarians are helpful and accommodating and if this location doesn't have what I am looking for, I place a request and it's usually there in a day or two.

Very nice staff and they welcome you with a smile! Love it!

The lady behind the counter was so nice. She literally made my day. Plus it is a library what is not to love.

I've been going here since I was little. I love it and I go every week! People who work there are really nice.

I love all of Arlington's Public Libraries. I think I've been to most. They're clean and quiet.
