Sri Saumyakasi Sivalaya

I visited the Sri Saumyakasi Sivalaya temple on the eve of Mahashivararti. I enjoyed the evening arati in the temple and also did Abishek on the statute. There were lots of people because of festival and I stay in the queue for around 30 minutes. The environment was quite peaceful and I enjoyed the Mahashivaratri. They were offering prasadi as well.

It was a very peaceful visit.unlike other temples, there was no crowd. We attended arti at 7:15 pm. I felt good during the Savan.

A very beautiful place with all positive vibes. So peaceful and spiritual. The only thing is that the timings are limited due to covid.. love to see the youngsters offering their volunteering services and spreading encouragement to serve.

Beautiful temple of Lord Shiva. You can experience the quietude and divine bliss. Best place to meditate in the calm surrounding. On the opposite side the Chinmaya Mission center is seen. Garden is well maintained. It's a must see place if you are visiting Houston for the first time.

Great place. You feel blissful when you visit here. We went here during Shivratri and team here managed all events and pooja very nicely and also managed lot visitors effectively.

I truly believe that the holy spirit of Swami Chinmayanand makes this temple a beuatiful, energetic, serene and peace giving place. Visit with faith in your heart and reverence in your being and be overwhelmed with bliss. The priest Sri Ganeshji is a rare priest. His ceremonies are amazing. Hari Aum.
