Eve's Cafe

Wonderful small town restaurant with the big taste of Germany. We enjoyed the hot ham and cheese sandwich with chips and the Ruben was large enough for 2 to share. Cold beer or hot coffee was thirst quenching. Bratwurst was delicious. Ryan and Ashley were so attentive to our needs and served us quickly and with a smile. Will definitely be back next time we pass this way.

Great food. The staff was very sweet. If you come here make sure to make reservations as they are pretty well known for there german food and beer the wait May be a while. They have a cute little shop and gallery next store you can kill time in. They also offer beer and wine while you wait on the front patio for your table. Talked with a few locals and people from other areas it felt very much like home.

This tucked in Cafe is one of the best kept secrets in Texas. Everything from the amazing service to the mouthwatering food was a stellar experience! The desserts made you wish you had worn your elastic waistband pants!!! We traveled almost 200 miles and picked this lovely little Cafe by chance. The hot red cabbage made you want to just live in the kitchen! Our server picked my meal because I couldn't decide and I am glad I handed over the reins to let him choose!! The Almond Roca cheesecake .seriously could change your life!!!! Everything we had was an amazing experience and made us full and happy!! Go there and see for yourself! You'll definitely be glad that you did!!!

German food at its finest. If you want authentic German, you can't pass this place up. We sure to give yourself plenty of time because it is all made fresh. The hot potato salad could have been served to us on the largest plate they had and we would have wanted seconds! If you want good German food, stop off here.

This is such a sweet German food restaurant! Love the marionettes as decor! The servers and staff were so friendly and the food was delicious!! We love visiting here on our way to and from to San Antonio.

Excellent homestyle German food with impeccable service and a warm and welcoming atmosphere. There may be a small wait time, but it's well worth the wait.

First time I’ve ever been here. I happen to be traveling through and my husband wanted some dinner like food. And it was nummie!!!

Eve's Cafe is an absolute gem in Lampasas! I cannot recommend their lunch sandwiches enough - they are absolutely delicious and made with fresh, quality ingredients. The service here is top-notch as well, with friendly staff who always go above and beyond to ensure a wonderful dining experience!

Been coming here for a few years and it’s the best German food that we have close by for my family. I do miss the Chipotle Brisket sandwich but there are many other mouthwatering delicious entrees to choose from. And don’t forget to grab a refreshing Hefeweizen and a slice of the amazing cheese cakes that they offer as well.

Unique, delicious, bustling restaurant with a friendly staff serving German inspired dishes. We had bratwurst, Spätzle, red cabbage and cheese cake. We were told it was voted one of the top German restaurants in the US - or was it Texas, or the county? Whatever the case, it is sehr gut!

Strolled into Eve's Cafe during a day trip from to Lampasas and were glad we did! We were immediately seated and the food was served fast by an upbeat, young waitstaff. If you're a fan of German food, you'll be a fan of this place! True story.

The waitress, Sarah, was amazing. She was so sweet and nothing but smiles. I’ve met a lot of nice servers but none have topped her. I ordered The Gobbler and she let me know that it comes hot or cold and I took her recommendation, hot. The sandwich was so delicious. Getting the french fries over the chips was a two $2 up charge if y’all decide to go and get this. When it was time for dessert she had verbally listed everything they had and her top recommendations. Thanks to her recommendations I have a reason to come back and hopefully not alone. I even got a picture of a part of the ceiling which I thought was so cute. Note: I think there should be a little bit more turkey and tomatoes in the sandwich, but that’s just my opinion. Can’t wait to visit y’all again, hopefully I have Sarah as a server again.

Great service and wonderful food. The blueberry cheesecake was amazing. The Hammer sandwich was delicious and fries were perfect!

This was my first experience eating German food and it did not disappoint. I wasn't sure what to order but my waiter gave me some good recommendations. I ended up getting the Works Schnitzel and it was absolutely delicious. I can't wait to go back and try other items on the menu.

The best cheesecake I ever tasted. Excellent rueben sandwich…willing to bet the sauerkraut was homemade. Split the sandwich w/a friend so we’d have room for dessert. It was perfect and plenty.

Eve's is a must have! Very rare do I rave about dining out, however, they blew my expectations out of the water. The food was phenomenal..... down to the perfectly fried French fries. The service was friendly and quick. We will absolutely be back for more.

Wife says the cheesecake is divine, and I'd have to agree. And I normally don't like cheesecake. The food here is excellent. Who knew, I'd love the red cabbage so much. The four of us all had a different schnitzel. Everyone loved their version.

In the historic Square of Lampasas you can eat inside or out. Traditional German food and beers. Enjoyed the currywurst and jagersnitzel with red cabbage and German pasta.

Great traditional German food and some American favorites as well. I’ve been to Eve’s Cafe several times and have enjoy it them all. You can’t go wrong the the Jäger Schnitzel when you are hungry. They also have mouthwatering desserts that you will love. I highly recommend Eve’s!
