My husband had the Coconut Porter and thought it was very good. The staff was really friendly and the outdoor seating area was relaxing. No GF options, but that's true of many microbreweries.

Great taproom. Hitmaker has a nice selection of their in house craft beers. The French Saison is wonderful, excellent flavor profile. They have a nice little patio with tables and umbrellas for hanging out side, and ample room inside with a few TVs. You can also get togo cans and growlers of their beers. It is not as far out of Austin as some of the other breweries, definitely check it out.

Great local brewery with several beer styles available. Great people work here. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Dog friendly. Food truck parked next door. Hit 'em up!

Great beer! Dogs are allowed inside and they have outside picnic tables! I got the RyeWit and it was delicious!

Austin's newest brewery is welcoming and down to earth. Got to chat with one of the owners about their direction and was impressed. They are striving to make top quality beer while experimenting with new flavors.

They have kept the feel from Thirsty Planet for the tap room, but made it their own. Both indoor and outdoor seating is available and the ambiance is casual.

Worth making the trek out here.

Great Hidden Gem. The saison and brown ale were some of the best we’ve had. We were floored at how reasonable the price was for the quality of beer. If you haven’t been you need to go.

This place is awesome. Came here with my buddy and our two dogs. Right away the staff brought out water for our pups. My favorite part about the brewery is the beer. When you get here make sure to try the Hill Country Haze! Highly recommend.

A coworker and I tried this brewery tonight. On top of the excellent IPA, I tried their coconut porter. It was delicious- not too heavy- and instantly I wanted to pair it with coconut shrimp and mango salsa. I bought a crowler of the coconut porter and headed straight to the Dripping Springs H-E-B. They didn’t have mango so I got peach salsa instead. Then I sat down to a glass of Hitmaker Coconut Porter, coconut shrimp, peach salsa and sliced avocado with a little salt. It was simply amazing. I HIGHLY recommend Hitmaker! It fits in perfectly with the local flavors and has a great outdoor area, not to mention a friendly bar keep!

The latest brewery to open in what seems to be an emerging "craft booze" district out southwest of Austin. It's in the former Thirsty Planet building before they relocated.

Anyway, they had a good selection of beers, with staples of the usual styles you'd expect, plus a couple more creative brews. Everything I tried was tasty. Staff was very personable and friendly. Same owners as Mugshotz downtown, so very un-pretensious.
Plenty of indoor seating and bar space, as well as a decent size patio.

We enjoyed our visit here. The beers were very good (I really enjoyed the saison), and it's a nice change of pace from some of the louder, larger breweries.

Everything here is great. Service, beer, atmosphere/clientele, it's a great first or last stop if you're doing a tour through Dripping breweries and wineries.

Honestly, probably the tastiest beers I have had in Austin. Really affordable too. Welcoming vibe. Should have more traffic than it does but maybe that is part of the charm

Housed in the old Thirsty Planet site. Tasty beer, friendly service, and a small collection of board games - a great stop before or after visiting the Austin Zoo down the street.
