District Six

I don’t get the lower marks. I just can’t believe I haven’t already tried this place. It’s definitely a hidden gem. My son kept telling me it was a cool place and it sure was! The decor is so cute, definitely gives an Austin vibe. The drinks were delicious. I had one of their yummy frozen offerings. The bar food was spot on! So good and such a cool hang out place. What a fun place to belly up at the bar and just hang out. Georgetown is lucky to have you. Definitely a 5 star experience for local bar atmosphere/food/drinks. I don’t get the complaints about pricing.

What a hidden gem! Absolutely delicious and refreshing food. I got the wedge salad and the dressing was AMAZING! I also got a strawberry lemonade which was sweet and sour the perfect combination. My friends got a Georgetown spike which came with a fun straw in the drink, and they said it’s their favorite alcoholic beverage! My boyfriend to eat ordered the wagyu smash burger with pickled vegetables which he said was super tasty. My mouth is watering typing this review! I highly recommend this place to everyone. We did not get photos of our food, as it was too delicious to pause to take any haha! There’s a TON of TVS and games including arcade machines, so you won’t find yourself bored here. The decor at this place is vibrant and lovely as well leading to an excellent experience in every one of the 5 senses! 10/10 :) come visit with your friends! 💖

It's a little cool little spot kind of hidden from the world so you got to know that it exists to go there has outside TVs outside eating cool cool little Vibe they have some arcade games inside not too many clean location the manager seem pretty cool the burger was good the chicken lettuce shrimps were good only thing I can say about that the lettuce needs to be a little bit bigger so that you can actually wrap the chicken that's a little tidbit to let them know about improving that again as far as the burger is as good as it's going to get the drinks are good they have a bar plenty of TVs to watch sports it's a good place to get away and just hang out and listen to some music and watch some sports again this is like a little hidden gym in Georgetown Texas that I would like to give an honest review about I think the place is fairly new but everyone seem very nice in there so if you have time and you don't have to get a burger or some chicken wraps or whatever they have on the menu and get away and this would be a good place to go

New menu and management has truly recreated the space. The shrimp tacos and cocktails were superb.

Really impressed with the changes at D6! Menu has more options. Tried 3 different shareable items. The chips that came with dip were a little stale, but dips were good. Lettuce wraps were awesome, the chicken and dipping sauce had great flavor. Also had some fried shrimp thing that was really good. Cocktails were good. Service was great, bartender very attentive. Video game lights are a little annoying. Overall, good evening.

Just a block off the square, and tucked in an alley, this is a great hangout spot. Whether you want to watch your favorite sport team on one of the many TVs, play games, or hang out on their amazing and newly covered patio (my personal preference), District Six has stepped up Georgetown's food and entertainment game. I ordered the D6 75, their take on the classic French 75, and it did not disappoint. We then ordered the BBQ Carrots, Slider board sampling and pizza pockets to share. All were great (I'm still thinking about those BBQ Carrots!). Staff was attentive and prompt. Will definitely go back!

I wish we would have tried this place earlier. It is SO good!! Our server was Aubrey and she exemplified amazing customer service. Friendly, fast, and offered us menu recommendations when we told her it was our first visit.

Food was excellent! I had the Tex-mex beet salad with grilled chicken. My husband had the smash burger. There were zero leftovers.

Can’t recommend enough.

Notes: they do have a full bar and extensive beer list as well as wine options.

What a fun place!! I am a local and I just heard they might close! People, we can’t let this happen. They have the best schnitzel and we count on it when we’re ready for it. I can’t see this local legend die, so go and buy stuff…Eat stuff….and have some fun while you’re doing it! If I’m wrong, let me know, but support and go. Food and atmosphere are great! You won’t be disappointed! 👏🏼👏🏼

I've visited District Six several times over the last few weeks and I have to say it is a welcome addition to Georgetown. We didn't know that we needed this place until it opened!

The food is very good and unique to our town. I love the quail legs, chicken wings, burger, fries and of course the huge selection of beer.

If you haven't been down to check it out, I highly recommend you do very soon.

A friend recommended this place to us and we finally tried it today. Our only regret, is that we didn't come sooner.

My daughter had the grilled cheese which they brought out early. It was really good for a run of the mi grilled cheese.

My husband and I started with the street corn queso. The flavors combine perfectly with just the right amount of spice.

I had the garden salad with grilled chicken, and the 512 Pecan Porter Honey Mustard dressing. The salad was fresh and crisp, the chicken was grilled to perfection. The dressing made the salad amazing, the depth of the flavor, sweet, with a bit of spice and a small taste of the hops put this basic salad over the top.

My husband had the fried Nashville chicken sandwich. Perfect combination of spicy paired with bread and butter pickles. The sandwich was huge, and the flavor was endless.

The service was phenomenal, our server spent extra time with us and our kiddo. Which means a lot to this Mama.

The food is why you come, the beer list and atmosphere is why you stay and hang out a while. Enjoy!

Update: The burgers are out of this world!! Every bite is juicy perfection.

Just a block away from the downtown Georgetown square, District 6 is a great spot for cold drinks and good food. The thai ribs and chicken sandwich were awesome! The place was very clean, with a cool vibe, and very friendly staff. The outdoor patio allows dogs.

There is too much to say about D6 in just a single review. I came in as a mere customer and came out with a new family. The Drew guy was a little quirky but we all know someone like that. My server, Raegan, was a godsend. She showed me the best customer service I have ever received and made me feel like family. I will be recommending this place to everyone.

Absolutely love this place. The servers/bartenders are some of the best people I’ve met. Cold drinks great food it’s hard to find another place that could match. And Reagan is the best bartender not just for the people but for the business!!

The street corn with tortilla chips is to die for. The Wagu Smash Burger is also very tasty. Spring for the bacon to make it that much better. Be prepared it is a bit messy. And the tator tots. Fried to a crunchy perfection. Indoor and outdoor seating. And great service.

This place is a hidden gem. The food, drink and service was impeccable. Really enjoyed the expansive outdoor patio, and fun design of the space. Can't wait to visit again!

We went for Happy Hour and had a great experience! We started with the wings that the chef said he "kicked up a notch". They were delicious. Then we had the wagyu smash burger which was outstanding! Although the drinks are small, they are very tasty. The Shark was our favorite; tasted just like the blue popsicles you ate as a kid!

My kids and I stopped her for lunch after picking up new license plates. The BBQ Carrots are so good! We all got burgers & fries which were also delicious.

District 6 is a great hang out spot with tasty food and decently priced drinks. They have plenty of beers to choose from on tap and a great variety of cocktails. The cocktails may be small, but they are not weak and have great flavor. The rotating frozen margarita was strawberry shortcake and it was fantastic! It was like drinking a boozy smoothie. We ordered the spicy cheese curds with chipotle ranch and they were the perfect snack to go with our drinks.
The service was outstanding, albeit there were not many people there on a Friday night at around 9 o’clock.
I highly recommend District 6 and it’s a very short walk from the square. The crowd tends to be quite a bit younger than the other bars downtown. It’s like a hidden gem here in Georgetown.
