I have lived in many states coast to coast and this is the best DMV ever. It’s s efficient, super quick and has the nicest people. My husband came here due to scheduling and told me about his experience. I drove three hours to come to this one and would do it again without hesitation.

these ladies were awesome. i failed my first test bc i hit a curb but they were super gentle and awesome. my second test was a breeze and the lady was really nice. really good feedback given as well! thank y’all !! don’t be nervous to take your test, these ladies will take care of you 🩷

Great experience. We live in Conroe and drive the extra 45 minutes to come to this location over the Conroe DPS office. You are always able to get what you need done, done and it is always quick and easy to get in and out. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Would recommend!!

Set an appointment, I was about 10 minutes late due to google maps going haywire.
Not a problem here.
Someone talked to me as soon as I came thru the door. Confirmed I had an appointment and pointed me to the correct paperwork to be filled out for why I was there.
Bout 10 minutes later, I’m working with a nice lady who made it a breeze.
This is it should be done!
Absolutely worth the drive.
I’ll never go to the humble location again.

Thank you so much to the staff who were able to assist us! I was there to help a former Marine reestablish his driver's license. We had visited once before, but it was not the fault of the staff that we had to come a second time. The reason we had to come back was because he did not have all of the classes and paperwork required to obtain his Texas driver's license.

When we returned we immediately knew to go over to the kiosks and get a number to get in line. Hilarious that we were there more than an hour in advance of our appointment. Marine much (do I have the only one who is always perpetually early so that he is not late?!)!!!

As we had been in once before the lady was able to pull up all of his documentation and even though we were there more than an hour in advance of his appointment things went smoothly and she immediately put him in line for his driving test.

Thank you for all that y'all do here. We actually purposely chose this location because of years of history with the Huntsville area DPS being easy to find parking at, easy to understand the workers, the politeness of the workers, the ease of finding an appointment, and the fact that we could eat at an awesome Mexican restaurant nearby!!

Outstanding service! I walked in and they were able to accommodate me. Ladies are fast, courteous and professional. I prefer this office over the rest.

Great group of ladies that actually try to make your DMV experience nice. Easy time at a normally painful process.

The staff here is very nice and helpful. It is easy to get an appointment and you feel welcomed rather than like a burden like at some DPS places. I drive almost two hours to get here, and it has been worth it every time.

We had an appointment, everyone had a smile and was very helpful. Definitely one of the nicest office!

I went to the Bryan location first. The lady at the desk was so rude that I walked out and changed my appointment to Huntsville. The Huntsville ladies were so nice and helpful. They made it an enjoyable visit. While there, other people came in and didn't know what to do. They were so nice and helpful to them as well. I'll never go back to Bryan, and I will always go to the Huntsville office.

I was in and out in 15 minutes to renew my driver's license. Staff was helpful, friendly and efficient. I had an appointment and was called right on time. Excellent in every way.

Upon surrendering my OK license for a Texas DL, they actually just cut the corners and gave it back. Total cost was $33 dollars, not bad. The experience was great- some of the sweetest ladies I've ever met and a very smooth process. I highly recommend!

I spoke with Mr. James Cousins and Mr. Davis, about my Canadian Maple 🍁 tree. They provided information about the condition of the tree so I could make informed decision-making. I l9ve trees for their beauty and shade. If you have a question about your trees, call him he is knowledgeable about trees in Texas.

Great experience. Made an appointment, looked online to see what all we needed to bring.

Showed up with everything at the time of the appointment and was quickly checked in. I was showed into the waiting room and given a number. While filling out one form, number was called. There were four people waiting to service customers and we were all filling out paperwork.

They were very efficient, friendly, and respectful. Much better than those mega centers!

I never have a problem at this DPS office. Make sure you bring what you need and your visit will go smoothly. Great staff.

Took my daughter to get her permit today, and was successful. I can not say enough about Kathy, her customer service skills are superb!! Everyone was extremely friendly and had such great attitudes. I will always go to the Huntsville location. Thank you for your patience and assistance!!!!!!

(3 failed attempts in Conroe - and their attitudes were always the absolute worst)

We went in expecting the same crabby treatment we get in other states. But Kathy really was very pleasant to work with. My husband has social anxiety, but he'll pleasant attitude kept him from having a panic attack.

They were so fast and very sweet! Once they realized my daughter did not complete part of the APP she was supposed to they were trying so hard not to upset her. She shed a lot of tears and we re-scheduled but they did everything they could to accommodate and make her feel better. Thank you!!

My son and I went in for his permit and it was such a wonderful experience! Viktoria was absolutely a pleasure! She was helpful, friendly, hilarious, and it was the best experience and I am so thankful that my son's first DPS experience was such a wonderful one!

Very nice,except my height and weight are wrong I didn't read carefully before signing, got me 1'3 in..lol.iam not turning around and going back. Not today.its foggy up north still.
