My friends and I had a delicious meal on the heated, enclosed patio. The pierogis were the most delicious I've ever had. The tomato basil soup was satisfying, creamy, and bright on a cold day. And the Jailhouse Island Salmon with risotto was amazing! A must-visit

Different cheesesteak’esque sandwich #1126 in the last five years. Special Monday drinks and cheesesteaks with Amigo Dan. We got the Filet Mignon sandwich. It came on a round roll with Potato roll qualities. Amigo Dan liked the simplicity of the roll. I thought this sandwich deserved a much better roll. The meat was tender and flavorful. Onions and peppers added flavor without being distracting. Scored an 85 because it didn’t have cheese. It didn’t need cheese but it hurt the score.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Columbus inn for an impromptu date with my girlfriend, and I must say that my experience was truly exceptional. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, the food was amazing, and the service was top-notch. However, what truly made my visit outstanding was our waitress, Lauren.

Although it was her first time serving by herself, Lauren demonstrated an impressive level of professionalism and attentiveness throughout the entire meal. She was friendly, courteous, and went above and beyond to ensure that our dining experience was nothing short of perfect. Lauren was an absolute pleasure to have as our server.

Overall, I highly recommend Columbus inn to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience. And kudos to Lauren for an excellent job she did - she truly could teach the class on waitress etiquette. Five stars all around!

Today we had a private function (baby shower) & everything today was OUTSTANDING. The brunch items were warm, well-cooked, & very tasty. The atmosphere in the private room was perfect. The service from Madison & Emily was great!!! Ask for them.

Columbus Inn serves an authentic experience in a Historical building. The rooms are loaded with character. The meals are just as good as the historic building.

1 year after having our wedding here we returned for an anniversary brunch. Upon arrival one of our wedding servers recognized us and had us seated in her section. We had a lovely brunch and opted for the lunch selections. The chicken, salmon, prime rib, mac n cheese and tomato bisque were our favorites. We were trying a selection of desserts when Casey, our serve, came out with a beautiful slice of double chocolate cake complete with a sparkler and a Happy Anniversary chocolate “coin”. Thank you Casey and Admin for your generosity, thoughtfulness and for taking the time to remember and celebrate us. We will be back. 💕

Did happy and brunch and both were so good! The experience was very good, the staff were nice and the food was so delicious!!

Excellent dinner. Oysters, pork belly, blt deviled eggs, crab cocktail and short ribs... Everything came out as hoped, looking nice and hot. Our server was pleasant and very attentive. We had a great time.

Our favorite restaurant when friends and family are visiting from out of town or our special date night. Food is always great no matter what you order. Love the heated patio, great atmosphere and pleasant staff. You won’t regret trying this place and you will definitely go back again.

Great atmosphere, staff and food. Everyone was friendly and the food arrived very quickly. The calamari was delicious. My dirty Martini was darn near perfect. Salmon and risotto was very tasty.

Four of us went to the Columbus Inn for an early dinner. The food was excellent and our waiter and his assistant were knowledgeable and helpful in making our selections. Very attentive. It was around 5:30 on a Friday evening and the Happy Hour crowd at the Bar were very Happy. The restaurant staff noticed that the noise was disturbing the diners so they on their own slid the separating door closed cutting down the noise significantly and made our meal and the other diners much more comfortable. Thanks to all. It had been a long time since I had been to the Columbus Inn. Don't know why it's only a five minute drive from home. Will have to go back again.

Cookie ala mode is best dessert ever! Burger and filet mignon sandwich were exceptional! Melt in your mouth kind of food and cocktails were delicious. Very hard to get a reservation on weekends!

This place was amazing and the food was top-notch! It is located in what appears to be an old, large house... I am assuming the 1st and 2nd were available for use. (We sat on the 1st floor).

The decor is aesthetically pleasing, with oversized lightbulbs over some of the tables, and the atmosphere was very comfortable. My advice is to be dressed properly... It is a nice (read "upscale") restaurant. And it isn't as expensive as one might think. (You would expect to pay much more for what we got if it were in NYC, where we are from). Our meal came to around $100 for a shared app and 2 entrees.

We started with a shrimp and crab cocktail that was divine! The crab meat was so sweet and succulent... we almost asked for a second! For dinner, I had a braised beef short rib that melted on my fork! And the smash burger that my husband had wasn't too shabby, either. And their wine list is extensive!

Definitely a recommended stop for anyone visiting Wilmington!

Great food..real brunch buffet...breakfast and lunch. Omelets made to order and carving stations..breakfast meats, waffles, bagels, and more ..shrimp, crab meat, fruit, salads. Beautiful atmosphere. Happy people.

Great food, love Wine Wednesdays. Their happy hour can't be beat. Shrimp Caesar salad is delicious

Always excellent food, service, and check their great wine list. We have had so many wonderful dinners here!

Not from the area but met a client here and it was outstanding. The steaks were excellent and they have a solid wine list with many good selections not too expensive.

We had not been to the Columbus Inn for 19 years, and returned last night for a special occasion. The atmosphere is wonderful, Zac provided excellent and unobtrusive service, and every item we ordered was quite delicious. We will certainly start visiting more frequently!
