5 stars service. Evelyn was very professional and very informative on the best way to care for my hair, including product recommendations for my specific concerns. She use high-quality products and she gave me a great press that lasted for about three weeks.Probably longer if i didn't get caught in the rain. It was easy to book an appointment as well. This is my second appointment and I am so happy and relieved to have finally found my new hair solon and stylist. Thank You Evelyn!

Evelyn was very kind and informative. I love the fact that Miss. Evelyn is old school. She can trim her in it’s natural state without one having to get their hair straightened. I felt very comfortable with Miss. Evelyn.

Shades of Color Salon is a great salon where Evelyn, the salon owner, ensures that I leave with healthy hair on a bi-weekly basis. It is also a salon that provides a positive and uplifting atmosphere to clientele. I look forward to receiving service every time I have an appointment. Evelyn is always on time, which is important based on my busy schedule. Evelyn is very professional and is knowledgeable about the science of hair and does a great job as a stylist. The salon is spacious, neat and clean with individual styling rooms...great for privacy. There is ample parking within close proximity to the salon. My husband started going to Evelyn as well for hair cuts. I recommend Evelyn for all hair types. Her husband Mike, has done a great job with the salon's renovations; he is quite crafty.

Tape-in extensions were completed by Damika. She did a gret job, great conversation. She also does a wonderful job at coloring and retwisting of my son's locs.
