Grand Hyatt DFW

My stay at the Grand Hyatt was perfect. The customer service at the check in desk was effortless and they made me feel so welcomed and appreciated that I selected the property to stay at. I valet car for 5 days and they sent a driver to pick us up at DFW when we returned from trip. I had my elderly mom with me and they took that into consideration. The driver was so polite and nice. Deja, front desk agent was AMAZING!!!! Thank you.

The only downside this place has is also a beautiful, amazing upside. Being in an airport terminal, the hotel is not necessarily fit for convenience for anything besides air travel, but if you love planes, or even if you don't, there is a magnificence to the planes and runway views from the rooms. I'll never forget the curtains opening when I entered the room to reveal the runway. That was awesome!

My wife and I spent the late afternoon and evening ahead of a very early morning flight. This little single night stay is only our second venture into Hyatt, following a fantastic few nights at a Thompson property. Being Gold Status with Hilton and Marriott; we were both blown away at the level of service and attention we received, especially not having Hyatt status.

Communication from the staff began ahead of the stay, the Text The Hotel feature in the app is handy. Reception with Alex at check-in was pleasant and quite easy. Offering a both a coffee and a tea maker be brought up was a very nice touch.

Room was GREAT! Wife and I absolutely loved watching the planes come in and out.

We had room service for dinner, it was quick and tasty!

10/10 would recommend.

One night at the DFW Grand Hyatt may have very well made Hyatt our most preferred partner.

I didn’t get an opportunity to stay at the hotel but I went to the restaurant/bar attached to it and I was very impressed with the service provided by Toga, Jesus, and Briana (I think it was Briana). The artisanal pasta surprised me with the flavors. Who would have thought pickles in pasta could go to together? Also the English House drink with cucumber was delicious. Also, the wings were amazing. They fell right off the bone and were perfectly fried. I came here because I forgot to eat before I left the terminals for my connecting flight and it didn’t disappoint. Its a bit on the pricey side but worth it👍

This place was above and beyond what we expected from an airport hotel. The staff greeted us with smiles and ice cold water, the room was gorgeous, and the view of the runways was amazing!! We'll definitely stay here again if we fly through Dallas.

It is a wonderful hotel with a great view but after all a great service. They even did my emergency laundry just in time to take my flight. Delicious food and very kind front desk personnel.

We had an overnight layover in Dallas and decided to stay at the Grand Hyatt located in terminal D. From the minute we were greeted to the time we had to leave, we felt like VIP guests. Cohen at the front went above and beyond in making us feel welcome with anything we needed. He made our kids feel special with treats and binoculars to watch planes take off and land. This is because he upgraded our room so they can have a fun experience. Clean room and beds were super comfortable. This was a fun experience during our trip going back home. Highly recommend for customer service and clean rooms.

Let me start by saying that there have been past stays years ago where I had a less than pleasant experience at the Grand Hyatt DFW. But, after staying here the past 2 nights, I have to say they’ve really done an impressive job of turning things around. I made my reservation the day of as a globalist and I was impressed that they saw my reservation come through and arranged an upgrade for me without me needing to ask. When I arrived, Cohen at the Front Desk was incredible! He was friendly, hospitable, fun, and energetic while maintaining sophistication. It felt like I had a friend checking me in and as someone who travels over 200 days/year, those skills are harder to find than one would think or hope. The hotel has done a great job of embracing Technology. I was able to access my room via the Wallet App on my iPhone and much of the room’s lighting is controlled by automated controllers. I even was able to place my room service order via the Hyatt App. The next day, I got a text from the hotel checking in and seeing if I needed anything. They happily arranged for housekeeping service for my room and gave me some much needed advice about my flight the next day. Departure went smooth as can be and they had me promptly on my way, an essential at an airport hotel. Overall, I’d happy stay at this hotel again! I highly recommend Grand Hyatt @ DFW Airport, terminal D. It is super convenient being located at the airport itself. The rooms are spacious and clean. Room service is prompt, and hotel staff are helpful and obliging. I had a pleasant dining experience at the hotel restaurant Grand Met.

The room assigned to us when we checked in digitally wasn't clean yet so Milena at the front desk upgraded us to a runway view room so we could go ahead and relax.The room was cool when we got in which was wonderful and the view was amazing. Very impressed!

I recently stayed at the Grand Hyatt Hotel and was thoroughly impressed. Its proximity to the airport was a major convenience, allowing me to relax and prepare for my year-long travels abroad. A standout feature of my stay was the modern touch of having remote-controlled sheers and shades in the room, adding a sense of luxury and ease. For dinner at the Grand Met, I tried the lobster roll and lump crab cakes. Between the two, the crab cakes are a must-try – absolutely delicious. The staff were welcoming and knowledgeable, contributing to a serene stay. My room offered a tranquil environment and a unique view of planes taking off from the runway, which was a serene experience. Highly recommend for a peaceful and luxurious stay near the airport.

We landed in DFW quite late after a delayed flight and had to get up at 5 am in the morning.
It was pricey for the few hours we were there. But it is literally in the middle of the airport!
Our room was very quiet.

Stayed at this hotel at the start and end of my trip. Very nice clean rooms. The Met restaurant and bar were also nice and convenient. Great food and drinks. Nice to be right at Terminal D for an early departure in the morning. Very stress free being right there at the airport!!! I would recommend!

Stellar service all around. Lisa and Gabriel at the front desk were friendly and helpful. When I went to leave, the valet driver ran inside to validate my parking ticket. Thank you all for a wonderful stay!

Wonderful hotel, great location right in DFW. The restaurant is FABULOUS! We ate breakfast and dinner there and every meal was top-notch. Props to the chef. The hotel staff in general was very pleasant.

Flew in for an under 24-hour stay. Completely surprised! Great room, responsive staff, wonderful location. Plan on staying here again if I have the occasion.

Amazing place. Very convenient location, although this also is it's weakness as if you want to have some dinner in the city, your fare will be higher because of airport entry taxes.

Food was nice. Rooms are a bit pricey but you get a nice view of the runway. And sound proofing is great, can barely hear planes landing and taking off.

I love love love this hotel. It is by far one of my favorite Hyatt’s coast to coast. You walk right into security and to your gate. Can’t say enough how much I love this airport. I stay here as often as I can.

After a long, delayed flight in from Syndey, we missed our connection to Milwaukee. Needless to say I was in an extremely foul mood. Qantas put us up in the Grand Hyatt and it was one of the nicest airport hotels I've stayed in. As soon as I walked into our room, my mood was changed to good. I was so impressed by the bedding, I asked the front desk who made it and ordered a quilt and pillows for home. The service was also outstanding at every turn, the bellman even took our bags to check-in and waited with us until our bags were all checked the next morning. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. And the next time American Airlines tries to put us up in one of the local roach motels, as they usually do, I will decline and stay here on my own dime!
