Gateway Bar & Grill

A fantastic place to get a drink, a meal and have a great time. The food and service are excellent. Chicken fried steak and pork chops on Fridays and Saturdays. Live music stage and dance floor. The prices are very reasonable. Even though smoking is allowed, the filtration system is effective to where you don't reek of smoke after visiting. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised.

The food is fantastic and the staff is friendly, but when it's busy just give them time. It's a bar and grill in a little corner of the world so if you get your feelings hurt because they can smoke there, get over yourself. Burger is worth it.

This place was the bomb 💣. The atmosphere was welcoming and the food spoke volumes. There was nothing bad that we had out of the 5 things we got. It's a must try. The service was amazing as well!

Wait staff were friendly and food was very good. Tonight was 1/2 price burger night. Great value..

If you are ever in Yantis, Texas or close by you have to go to the Gateway Bar and Grill. Everything about this place is great. The friendly atmosphere you get from the Staff and patrons is the best. The owner, Gary, is very friendly and genuinely grateful for the patrons. From the waitresses, Tracy and Robin, the bartender, Whitney, and Momma D they make you feel so welcomed. The Gateway Burger and Home cut fries are the best and they serve Buffalo Trace Kentucky Bourbon Whiskey. What more can you ask for. A great place to spend your time. Tim and I had a great time at Gateway.

Awesome place, best Burger on lake Fork

Best Cheese burger Ive had in years. At $11 its a heck of a deal. The Burger was so fresh and juicy. It was a half pound of awesomeness! It came with side of home cut fries that was large enough to feed a family of 4. No fast food buger can beat this quality at this price. I just moved here from Ft Worth and im telling you, this burger alone was worth the move!. The Staff was so friendly. Heck even the other patrons welcomed me in the door. Love this Restaurant! Love this Town! Oh yeah. The sweet tea was off the chain.

The owner and staff are amazing! It's a small town bar & grill, with a down home feel. They always make you feel welcome, remember your favorite beverage and even what channel you like the TV tuned to. The food taste like good old fashioned home style cooking.

This place is fantastic..Whitney the bartender is fabulous,great atmosphere awesome food!! Will definitely be going back!! Highly recommend if you're in the area!!!

Awesome food! Seriously, really great food!

We arrived in the Lake Fork area on Super Bowl Sunday. We called ahead and Momma D (a delightful lady)reserved us a table right in front of a big screen. Gary, the owner, was kind enough to stop by and share with us the way he sources his food.

The place was packed but Gracie and Whitney attended to our every request. We did not wait for anything. Outstanding service!

We both had the cheeseburger. I would have never thought that I would have to go to little ole Yantis, TX to eat one of the best burgers of my life.

When we come back to fish next year Gateway will most definitely be on our must do list.

Best burger I've probably ever had!! Can't wait to get back and eat more ! Wonderful service + great people watching. Lots to do :)

Well, was in from Fort Worth doing some fishing around Fork....got hungry and just happened across this joint.
It was Monday 4/18 about 5pm...walked in and this little joint was rocking! It's a bar with some of the best food I've had at any restaurant. Super loud, people dancing, beer flowing and you can smoke inside. . Hell yes.... No whiny @$$ city slicker $hit here.... Our waitress was super friendly, she took great care of us ... We came back on 4/20 and had it again... Staff was awesome, music loud and beer cold....
Don't change $hit y'all. See ya in fall.
