A BIG thank you to Texas Ranch Outfitters. I needed a specific ammo and stopped by to see if they had it in stock or could order it for me. I left my name/number and what I was looking for with Sherri expecting a call back in a couple of days. Less than 24 hours later I had a return phone call. (Bonus: I did not have to follow up - they called me back) - They had found what I needed, and I could pick it up the next day at a price which is less than the big box stores. Top notch service, quick turnaround, and a great attitude while helping me out.

I love the idea of supporting a local, family owned business. I referred several out of town family members to TRO to buy guns and/or ammo while they were visiting. Matt and Sherri are all about customer service and going the extra mile to get them what they needed before they had to leave town.

They are also very helpful to new female shooters, assisting them with what firearm would best suit their specific needs, answering any questions, and hooking them up with the info and contacts for the local women’s shooting groups. This family owned business has been our go to store for guns and ammunition. We started shopping here as they had ammunition when other stores did not. We continue to shop here because they have great pricing and excellent customer service. They have a wide selection of firearms, ammunition, and ranch supplies. Great selection. More in stock than most big box stores, with a really nice selection of saddles of all things. The staff is very knowledgeable about what they sell and they'll show you every gun in the store until you find the one that's right. All of my future firearms purchases will be from this shop.

Great store with great people. They always have what I need and if for some reason they don’t have if, they are always quick to get me what I need. I can’t brag about them enough. They really do care about their customers and the product they put out.

I ordered a used tactical shotgun on their website that included an optic on the photo. When I arrived for pickup the owner explained that the gun was no longer in their inventory. But, they would sell me a new model with an optic at the same price. They went above and beyond and now have a life long customer. Great selection and great service!

FFL transfer for gun broker purchase was smooth and shipped fast, seemed like nice folks on the phone.

Great store amazing selection can’t wait to go back again

I met the owners several years ago at a charity event for first responders and veterans. I was blown over by their generosity and humility at the event. In the near decade since, they have never wavered in their commitment to be good people. It is a 3 hour drive for me to visit their store and not once have I ever been treated poorly. I have always felt like I was treated fairly and got a fair price for whatever I bought. In today's crazy world, they may not always have what I want, but they sure try to get it for me. The one complaint I have is that I don't live closer!!

I recently made a rifle purchase from this store. It was a transfer sale. They processed the sale and shipped it the next business day. At arrived in a week. They called my ffl within 20 minutes to setup the transfer before I could get the to have my ffl set at up. I tried to purchase this same rifle from a dealer in georgia 2 weeks earlier and they failed to ship after a week. These guys value customer service and that is rare these days.
