Lake Fork Guide Andrew Grills

Mr Andrew is first Class. My son and I had the pleasure of fishing with him 2 days. Conditions were tough but he pulled through with some fine fish. Even when most everyone on the lake were telling they couldn’t get a bite. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a great fishing experience with an awesome guide!

Andrew was recommended to me a few years back. Andrew consistently puts us on fish when no one else is catching them and they are quality fish. Two of our most recent trips (December 23, and February 24) weather conditions made it hard fishing but as always Andrew put us on the fish! December trip produced two over 6lbs and several under. February trip well here is the text I sent him thanking him "Thank you for all your hard work putting us on fish even on the tough days. Had a friend reach out and tell me they were on the lake yesterday too asking if we did any good. When I told them we had like 9 with one over 4lbs they immediately asked who we were with because they fished all day and didn't get a bite. I told them it was tough fishing but I lost more than I landed because of my back. They were taken back. Again thank you buddy, I know how hard you work and want you to know how much I value time spent on the water with you." You won't find a guide who knows Fork better, knows the fish, and works hard to make your trip a success. First guide I have been with that focuses 100% on the client. I have tried talking him into fishing with us but instead he studies the fish, the location and helps us become better fisherman.

All I can say is WOW !! Andrew is superb guide and amazing person. He has been fishing Lake Fork for over 10 years and it absolutely shows . We got to our first spot and within 10 minutes both my buddy and I caught a bass.
I am a novice bass fisherman and Andrew was great and Helping me when I needed it and explaining to me what bait to use and which technique is best. He was absolutely phenomenal and spent his whole time watching us fish and helping us and not fishing himself .
Just one story of how great he is , My buddy had a fish break off the line and he wanted to give up but Andrew said nope not giving up and proceeded to throw another line out to catch the broken one and sure enough he did and then he hand reeled it In.
Side note it was not the lunker my friend swore it was 😂.
I strongly recommend Andrew if you’re looking for a fishing guide at Lake Fork.

My family had the pleasure of spending the day on Lake Fork with Andrew. He helped my 11yr and 9 yr old boys have the time of their lives. Andrew Grills is THE GUIDE for Lake Fork. My father and I have known Andrew for little over 6 years, a genuine guy and knows everything about how to catch ‘em on Lake fork. We will continue to have him as our guide every time we go out to the area. I recommend ANYONE, doesn’t matter skill level, to do the same!

Andrew is is a great guy and knows Lake Fork like the back of his hand. This is our second year fishing with him. We came this year with a double digit in mind. The first 30 or 40 minutes on day one my son puts a 11.60 in the boat. What a day!!!

First time on a guided trip, and Andrew Grills did not disappoint. He told us that around this time we probably wouldn’t catch huge numbers, but should get a couple big bites, and boy was he on the money. Ended the day catching around 10 fish in total, but caught a 5Lb, 6Lb, and my new PB 8LB bass. I hired Andrew Grills for a bass trip on lake fork feb 8,9. Despite a high temperature of 35 deg, I had the best bass fishing trip I've ever. I caught 14 bass between 3 and 9 lbs with most over 5 lbs. Epic day! Thanks Andrew!

Andrew is a top notch guide. I've had multiple trips in completely different seasons and Andrew knew how to find the fish regardless of the conditions. He does not hold back any knowledge that may have taken him years to learn, from the first cast he shares every bit of experience he has. I've learned techniques and helpful pointers that I will use everyday I fish and will teach to my children. I applied everything he taught me on my last trip when I came home and caught fish and had results. You will not regret fishing with Andrew Grills!

One of the best times I have had fishing 🎣 in along time. Andrew is a knowledgeable man about fishing and great guide . Had a trip lined up for lake fork, Andrew texted me said bite was off at fork so his suggested going to another lake which was lake welch, I lost count on how many fish I caught, somewhere close to 40 probably, and top it off was his dog 🐕 JJ what a delight to have him on the trip, Great time with Andrew and JJ I'll will use him again 😀

Andrew got us on fish within the first ten minutes. He didn’t fish which we really appreciated. He was very helpful getting snags free, changing out gear, and educational. Learned a lot from him. Great guy, great guide, you won’t be disappointed y’all.

Best guide we've ever used! My son and I just went fishing (June 18, 2020) with Andrew Grills as our guide on Lake Fork. We had a great time! Andrew has one of the most tricked out bass boats you've ever seen , , , so that's very cool But the best part of going out with Andrew is that he is so smart about the lake and where to fish. The dude knows Lake Fork like the back of his hand. He picked out spots to cast that got a lot of hits. Andrew also explains why specific lures are working and gives great coaching on how to work the bait to make it attract fish. He also brought along "JJ", his four legged deck hand . . . great pup' with a great personality! We caught nine fish . . . not bad for a morning in June. If you are fishing on Lake Fork and need a guide, you better book Andrew. We had terrible weather conditions, a cold front was pushing through with sustained 25 mph winds and gusts up to 50 mph. Andrew still put us on the bass. His knowledge of the Lake is unreal do yourself a favor and don't settle for anyone else.

Colt(13yr.) & I had a GREAT Time spending the day with Andrew! He had a great plan for us for the day - and put us right on the Bass! I need to sharpen my skills since my son smoked me at catching them.
We had a fun day and plan on seeing Andrew for another trip real soon.

Just got home from an amazing day. Didn't even catch a whole ton of fish but had an awesome time hanging out with Andy. As soon as he picked us up he felt like another brother I've known all my life. He made us feel comfortable in learning new techniques, and using new tackle we have never used before. I believe by the end of the short day we had, Andrew made my brother and I quite proficient in our efforts to become better Bass fishermen. Bottom line, if you want an intelligent, highly skilled guide who can put you on the fish. As well as make you feel like family I highly recommend Andrew Grills. But as great as Andy was, i think it was his awesome dog J. J. that really made the trip special. (sorry Andy).

I've fished with Andrew multiple times on Fork and Falcon. I was referred to Andrew and decided to give him a try. This was many years ago and he's been top notch on every single trip. My wife started fishing a few years ago and I wanted to find a guide who would take the time to help her learn new technique working with her skill level and bringing her up quickly. Now she has the ability to fish any type of scenario or time of season. Andrew is extremely knowledgeable, and doesn't know how to quit in hardest of weather patterns. He's professional, articulate and he's an all around great guide. He has the best equipment and comes each day very prepared to fish.

My Father in Law and Me were lucky enough to have three days with Andrew and his pup JJ. This is 1 week after the once in a century Texas snowstorm. Goin into this we knew the fishing would be tough going but that didn’t shake Andrew one bit. While nobody else we talked to was catching fish, Andrew pulled an ace from his sleeve and put us on em!!! We were reeling bass in hand over fist!!! We were even lucky enough to have two fish on at the same time, more then once! Over all it was an incredible trip and Mr Grills made sure of that. His knowledge of fish behavior, Lake Fork and the surround lakes is insurmountable. Look no farther.. you found your guide!

We had an amazing experience fishing with Andrew! His boat is very clean and was comfortable for me and my son. He had plenty of rods and bait options!! Booking our trip was great as ANDREW was very responsive. The fishing was awesome! He knows the lake so well. Tried a few spots and no bites, so he kept moving us. We found a great spot and caught like 9 great size bass. Andrew’s dog JJ added to the experience as he is so well behaved and friendly. Overall amazing trip and I would HIGHLY receomend Andrew to anyone looking to catch bass on Lake Fork!
