Halls Wine & Spirits

Love visiting this location. Always great selection and even better conversation with the folks working there. A very decent selection of higher end bottles that are not just at museum prices.

I've been going to Halls for specialty beer for over 15 years. It's the best place I've found in the DFW metroplex for specialty beer. The owner will sometimes put out "Easter egg beers" which are rare and or aged beers to find. Great selection and the staff is very helpful as well.

Went there Thursday 10/28 for a brisket sandwich. Ended up saving it for Friday. Omg still freaking awesome reheated it was so good!
Would go again! Staff were patient with me as I got really shy and quiet at the counter and register.

Amazing BBQ chicken! We love getting their half chicken, either by itself or the plate. You really do not need sauce. Good flavor and very moist. Pretty good breakfast tacos and ranchero beans too! Looking forward to trying other things on the menu. Definitely recommend giving them a try!

I did not go to Hall's Wine and Spirits for alcohol. I went because I heard their barbecue was good. I got sandwiches for myself and my family and they were absolutely excellent. It's hard to find barbecue that is actually cooked on a pit. There are no shortcuts with this place the meat is absolutely superb.

The best and loving people. They took great care of us , when our car couldn't start.
Eddie took his time to drop me home of his way.
The whole crew is the best ever.
I recommend anyone to go visit them.

I never write reviews. I just thought I needed to after seeing a few of the comments. I have been going to this place since it opened (roughly 10 years ago?). I have NEVER had a bad experience here. Sure, sometimes it’s busy and the staff is very “to the point,” but never rude, condescending or belittling in any way. Sometimes I wonder what the personalities are of the people writing these “horrific experience” type of reviews?!? Just my 2 cents.

2nd time stopping by today not for the liquor(I don't drink) but for the food! I try the brisket sandwich with spicy bbq this time, "Let me tell you it is one of the best brisket I have ate. 1st time it was a pull pork and it was also a delite. I would definitely make a stop here when in the area.

Just have the BBQ sandwich and forget about the service. This is the Dicks of the convenience store and deli business.

Thank me later. Make sure to get extra BBQ sauce.

I had to make a stop this morning at my nearest exit because I was having car trouble. I just so happened to stop at the right place! The owner of the Valero and Wine shop was amazing! He managed to get my car back running mind you its 29 degrees outside!! God bless him, his family and their business.

I want to reserve 3 x Cases of Iron Joe...been asking about this for the last couple of months. Due to ICY weather I missed the chance to taste the product at the brewery. I am a regular at the store, buying various liquors for at least $70 every other week, so would like a little loyalty for a good customer.

As for customer service, the store is 2nd to none!

While they have a great spirits collection, minus a few really good ones, they have an exceptional craft beer collection. They are really good about getting almost all of the rare beers that come to DFW.

This place has a great selection of beers, from local craft to import craft. When I lived closer, I would come here to get some domestic craft brewery beer. It also has a nice liquor selection as well.

Not sure what the negative reviews are all about, but if you're looking for an amazing craft beer selection, then look no further. I found the staff to be incredibly helpful.

This place has gotten a lot better and I initially wrote a bad review when their staff was flat rude. Nowadays it's the ideal beer and liquor store with decent staff.

Good selection and friendly helpful staff. The location is kinda small and parking is limited when it gets busy. They also serve amazing Bbq.

I get beer here a lot & I really like this place but the last time I went there someone had taken a dump in the urinal. It wasn't me I just found it brah
