Val was our sales rep and she was great. Another dealership tried to charge us a $3000 “fee” above sales price but Hertz does not do that. We were told that this was a common practice in the DFW area so was glad to save that money. I must say the sale process took a while but in the end we had our car. The sales room and offices were nice and clean. The car was similarly clean. We are very happy with our purchase and think we got a reasonable deal.

Top-notch service from start to finish! MG was very knowledgeable about the Tesla, patient, and went above and beyond to ensure I found the perfect fit. Smooth process, great experience! I still have a lot to learn about EV's but her and her team, Michael made me feel at ease. So happy!!!!

She was extremely patient with me and kept me updated with the whole process, she listen and answered all my questions, She went ahead and made sure I was taken care of. I didn’t feel rushed, there was always a clear communication. Final price was explained and I was satisfied with it. In general the whole experience was GREAT! I don't really know what those 1-star reviewers are talking about. I did my own research before going to Hertz Car Sales Irving, got pre-approved with a financing company, printed out the offer, and drove to this place. The place was packed with people buying cars and I had to wait around 10 minutes before a gentleman approached asking me if I had been taken care of, or if I needed help. I explained to him that I wanted to see a specific vehicle and he promptly gave me the keys to go see it and explained that a sales person would come talk to me. I spent a good 30 minutes checking the vehicle before Michael Aguilar approached me and asked me if I needed to talk to a specific sales man, I told him no and he promptly took care of me, we were test driving the vehicle 10 minutes later (he had to move 3 parked cars before we could take mine out). During the financing process I showed him the offer I had in mind and that it was pre-approved. He took all the details and offered to run the credit check through other companies in case there was a better one. Sure enough, he came back with an offer with monthly payments that were $12 less than the one I had. He offered me an extended warranty, which a courteously rejected, and he did not push or tried to make feel like I was performing sacrilege. The whole process took around 3 hours since arriving until I drove off with my vehicle. All the sales people seemed respectful and courteous, but from experience I can only tell you that Michael Aguilar is your guy. Make sure you eat a hearty meal before coming here, in case it is packed like it was for me.

Reasons to buy: 1) regular maintenance has been performed, 2) smoke-free interior! 3) most cars are rented for business purposes and employees don’t want to pay for damages, 4) every car is sold with roadside assistance services and discounts for buying new keys! 5) thorough inspections are performed to avoid risk of failure during rental and before sale, 6) priced competitively and less than private owner or used car lots in almost every case. If you shop this location you will have a huge selection! I love the car I bought and the price was well below the rest of the market. Mike, the salesman was knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. You won’t be disappointed!

Damon Schaumburg was our sales specialist and we can't say enough good things about him. Damon was very knowledgeable of the vehicles and explained the benefits of each. We decided on a 1 year old Cadillac XTS at a great price. There was an issue with a noise the car was making and Damon was all over it, making sure it was nothing to worry about. He even had the Cadillac dealership inspect and verify that the only thing that needed to be done was to replace two worn tires. The price of the car was so good that we had ample room in our budget to put the tires on the car and STILL save hundreds over other dealerships cost for the same car.

We are thrilled with the car and HIGHLY recommend Damon Schaumburg and Hertz of Irving! Tom Duncan, site manager, made all the paperwork and such a breeze. I will gladly recommend them to others who are looking for a good deal on a well-maintained, late model, used vehicle.

Recently purchased a car from this location. Nate first showed us a few cars and was very accommodating. We left to look at some other lots but no one could match the prices at Hertz so we came back to discuss further. Nate had Robert S. assist in getting things sorted out. Robert was a breeze to deal with. The whole team was friendly and helpful. Thank you Robert and Hertz team!

Robert was the best car salesman EVER! We were not sure what kind of car we wanted when we got there. He was so patient, answered every question we came up with, and showed us every car we thought we might even be interested in. We finally chose a car about 7:30 pm and he cheerfully stayed and worked through the process with us. We will be back!

Though the facility looks closed when approaching from the east, Hertz Car Sales is open and doing business. I'm not sure, but I think they are using a facility that previously belonged to another, larger dealership. The people more than make up for outer appearances. Our salesperson was polite and very no-pressure, there mostly to answer our questions and ready to assist. We had called earlier about a couple of specific cars and she was the person we spoke to on the phone.

To make a long story short, we left after test driving the cars in order to fulfill our obligation for test drive appointment elsewhere. We called to be sure that our salesperson would still be available, since we were less that impressed with the other location.

We bought one of the cars that we had originally inquired about.

It was a good over-all experience, such as purchasing a car can go. The other managers that we encountered were every bit as courteous and patient with us as our salesperson. The financial manager's explanation of each stage of the process was simple and easy to follow.

Overall, a good experience and I highly recommend checking them out if you are in search of a pre-owned car. I know the drill about being careful when buying a fleet or a rental car; that other people can be very abusive to a car that they don't own. Possibly, but I've never treated a rental car any differently than I treat my own. (Who wants to pay for any damage?) On the flip side, the cars technically have one owner (Hertz) and they are cleaned up after every use, as well as having a regular maintenance schedule. Mileage varies on these cars, but they are worth a test drive IMO.

As I stated earlier, when approaching from the east on the feeder road, they don't look to be open: the main gate is closed to the road since they don't use that side of the building on the inside. The lot with the cars is on the west side of the building, and the turn-in drive is easy to miss if you are driving too fast. (We did and we had to circle back. I'm glad that we took the chance that they actually were open.)

Robert Steffes is a great sales guy to work with. This is the second vehicle I have purchased from Hertz within the past five years. Robert was patient, answered my questions, and did not press me to make a decision on the spot. I will would highly recommend Robert to friends and family.

Great staff all around. Damon is the new guy and he took care of me. I wasn't able to sign the documents on the day I went in to purchase the vehicle due to the office system shut down for company and database updates. Therefore I returned the next day to complete the purchase. Damon was very helpful and provided me transportation home. The staff was very apologetic and assured me that the documents would be ready and the car would be held until I returned. They even offered to come to me and deliver the vehicle and obtain signatures. I informed them that it was not necessary and I would return the next day. The system shut down took place after 9PM, and that was very well past closing time. Damon and the rest of the staff should have been on their way home for the evening. Instead they were getting me set up in the vehicle that I wanted. I have purchased vehicles before and never has it been this easy. They are not there to haggle or waste your time. So if you want to purchase a good car and be on your way in a timely fashion. Don't hesitate. This is your place. And did I mention, I got a great deal on a great car.

Tom and Damon made buying not only easy, but pleasurable. They both went above and beyond expectations to get me in a car very quickly. They were very understanding of my situation and did everything they could to fit my needs. Damon displays the perfect definition of empathy and worked way harder than anyone had to in order to make it happen. I wasn’t just another car sale to them, I was a mom in need of transportation and they made it happen very quickly and efficiently. Will recommend to everyone in search of a great deal on a vehicle.

Hands down the best car buying experience. No pressure sells person trying to get you into the latest thing. Whole process was so smooth and absolutely stress free. James was fantastic to speak with and very knowledgeable about the vehicles and help us narrow down what we were looking for.

I talked to Damon for a week about a Volkswagen car and he gave me all the information I need. I am living in the Houston area, so he kept in touch with me during the week to let me know that the car was still available for sale. He added $15 for the test drive out of his pocket so that i try the car. He was friendly and approachable during the transaction as well, and he was answered all the questions I had, without being annoyed. I recommend him and Hertz Car Sales.
