Absolutely amazing!!
From the moment we walked in we were in love. The atmosphere was very inviting and sophisticated. The food was some of the best Italian food I had outside of Italy. Hats off to the chefs. Let me not forget our amazing waiter/ butler sorry I forgot his name. If you’re looking to try authentic Italian food or just want to take your significant other out on a dinner date please try this place. You will not be disappointed.

A successful lunch in many ways. We (Think Neu Events) were treating friends/industry partners and we all enjoyed every aspect of Calabrese. Short version, the service was phenomenal, and the cuisines was outstanding.
Longer version: Arrived and immediately greeted. I was early so I sat at the bar, worked, and sipped on cappuccino. Sean, the bartender was friendly and had quite a few regulars show up. Always a good sign.
One of those joining us, celebrated a birthday. The hostess overheard and gave her a sweet birthday card.
We ordered the calamari and bruschetta for appetizers. The green sauce served with the calamari is addicting and we were told it has personally grown (by the chef/ or owner) basil. Nice touch.
Patrick was our server with Jorge assisting. Both amazed us in their timing, follow ups, and conversation.
We highly suggest this gem and to book reservations.

We were absolutely delighted with our evening dining experience! Taylor was very professional, and all the staff was helpful and informative when we had questions. We love the traditional Italian foods, and these recipes were very family original. We were hoping to get a ride on the scooters, but they said they are museum pieces.

I love it here. I'm an Italian guy from chicago and have had a hard time finding somewhere decent for Italian food. I very much enjoyed the food here. My waitress was amazing too and very attentive. The outdoor porch seating was so beautiful. I will be back for sure and want to check out more dishes. Thank you for the great experience.

Went here for an anniversary. The wait to get to the table wasn’t too bad (Friday night at 8pm, what do you expect?) but once we got there, it was an amazing experience. The staff were knowledgeable, friendly, and treated us like our anniversary reservation was important/special. We got a lovely card on the table and off-menu dessert. To top it all off, they called the next day to ensure the experience was good! Who does that? We were shocked. The significant other loved it and yours will too. Do yourself a favor and go here for your next special night out.

Wife and I had a business trip so we ventured out for a bite. What a great spot. Excellent atmosphere for any occasion from a quick bite, watch a game, business dinner or date night. Muscles ar3 best I've had in a long time. Seasoning and warm butter were over the top. Meatballs are massive and excellent. If you're in Southlake, ya gotta try this spot. Will be back!

What a great place. From greeting through departure this place knows how to deliver a fantastic evening.
The osso buco was the best I've ever had, the wine was delicious, and service was impeccable.

My husband discovered the spot recently thanks to a company Christmas party. He raved about the food so we decided to celebrate Christmas Eve dinner there. The service was fantastic and the food is incredible. Even with a limited menu there are terrific vegetarian options and something for everyone. It was so good we decided to go back New Year’s Eve, and try something different! This is a place we will be returning to regularly. The combination of flavors is delicious and no ingredient is overwhelming in any of the dishes. The atmosphere is upscale, yet comfortable, and the servers are attentive and friendly with no pretentiousness. The value of the meal is outstanding. Highly recommend!

Decided to spend our Anniversary enjoying a dinner at Calabrese in South Lake, Texas.

We were pleasantly surprised, the ambience was perfect, we arrived 15 minutes early for dinner reservations, seated without an issue.

Service was spot on thank you Hunter, drinks were amazing, and of course the food was delicious...we actually left the restaurant with a bag of leftovers.

We will definitely be coming back.

Having driven by countless times since first going when it first opened back in 2015, we decided to give it a try with another couple who lived in the area but had never been there.

We all agreed the atmosphere is wonderful, the subtle ambient noise allowed us to converse without struggling and the food offerings are terrific! If you haven't tried it, I strongly suggest you give it a go. We will definitely be back sooner next time.

Had our Anniversary Dinner here last night. Everyone took great care of us from the moment we arrived. Dinner was delicious and the decor was beautiful. I loved how relaxed our experience was and how comfortable the seating was. We didn't feel rushed to hurry through our dinner. We were able to savor the variety of options of starters/cocktails before ordering our main course and desserts. Will definitely be a returning customer😉

I highly recommend this restaurant. management, service, ambiance, and food are all outstanding. We held my best friend's bridal shower event in one of their private rooms. They made the experience one we will never forget. 5 stars!

Our server, MK, was phenomenal! We had the best Valentine's dinner because of the whole experience. The food exceeded my expectations for freshness and flavor. The scallops were large and cooked perfectly. This Italian restaurant is the most authentic I found in Texas!

I came here for the valentines experience package listed on OpenTable. I had Marco as our waiter and he was truly one of the best waiters I've ever had with any restaurant experiences. He was very polite and made sure we were good with everything and really made us feel well taken care of. Will be dining here again in the future.

Great thin crunchy authentic Italian pizza. The ambience is the real winner though. The heated patio is gorgeous!!

Took my parents to an early dinner to celebrate Christmas. Plenty of parking spaces at 3pm. Staff sat us at a nice round table. Ordered a couple of bottles of wine and the antelope Carpaccio and crab cakes for Appetizers! They were both very good and the warm Italian bread and butter was delicious. We all tried something different and every plate was warm and wonderful. Then we all tried Deserts and coffee. Highly recommend trying as many Deserts as you can. Ha! They were all so good. The pear cake with salted caramel ice cream was my fav! The staff was super professional and they took pride in sharing their love for the food. Chef visited our table and shared his most popular dishes as well. It was a great experience and everyone enjoyed themselves. The day after I received a call to ensure we had a great time. Wow! This was perfection! Thank you! Can't wait to dine with y'all again. Merry Christmas!

I had friends who took me here for my Birthday and let's just say I wish I could eat here at least once a week. That way I would be sure to have the best Italian food weekly! Their Lasagna was the best Lasagna I have EVER had. It literally melted in my mouth! The bread and the dipping sauces they brought out while waiting for our food was excellent as well. Not to heavy, but just enough pop of flavor to give you a tease of whats to come. They brought out bread pudding for the Birthday surprise and I normally don't like bread pudding, but this was out of this world. It was served hot and melted in your mouth too. So impressed with this place. Excellent place to go for date night, to celebrate your Birthday or just to go grab a drink at the bar!
